Happy Exploring

Hello again!  You must be getting sick of me by now - lol!  I've got a second quick post today with a card I made for the Create With TLC Design Team and a couple of other challenges I like to do during the week. It is for this week's Color Throwdown #173 (red, black and silver or gray) and the Tuesday Throwdown #79 (use something shiny on your card).

Here is the CTD color inspiration:

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of GKD Red Hot and layered with Silver Mirror Cardstock (my shiny item) and a graphic from Create With TLC.  It is from Paulette's new Travel Collages Vintage set.  You can find it her store here.  I also used a couple of other pieces of word art from Create With TLC.  They were offered as freebies awhile back on the Create With TLC blog.  You definitely want to go over there and sign up as a follower!  Paulette shares new freebies on the blog every day and you won't want to miss out on them!

That's it!  I promised it would be quick!  Have a great Friday and weekend!Photobucket

  1. WOW Carla....there is nothing more gorgeous than red, black & gray or silver....unless of course, it is red & black & white! I love those color combinations and your card is fabulous!

  2. Carla, this is fabulous...love the vintage car and your silver mirror paper was just perfect for the 'shiny' challenge. You are really making me want some of that word art. Thanks for playing with Tuesday Throwdown. Hope you have a great weekend. I think it will be raining here in my area...hope you're spared.

  6. Fabulous! The black and white with just a pop of red--plus that shiny silver--really shows off the fun car image.
