A Sweet Friendship

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post today.  I wanted to share a card I made for a few challenges and one of them is ending soon, so here I am again!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Soft Sky and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey What's Up 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Little Miss Mouse from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added peach glitter to the flower centers and White Opal Liquid Pearls to the spots on the mushroom.  I cut out the image with my Cameo and popped it up on the oval frame.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added a few Wild Orchid Crafts Cherry Blossoms and Sweetheart Blossoms around the frame. A spray of pearls and a tiny metal dragonfly charm finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  If I don't drop by before then, I hope that all who celebrate have a wonderful Easter!

Spring Is In The Air

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  Wow, the weekend is just zipping by!  It's sunny and warm here and I can't wait to get out to enjoy it a little.  Before I do, I'm popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do if I can find the time.   A lot of them had a similar theme of "Spring", so it worked perfectly for me.

Here is my card:

My card base is Papertrey Raspberry Fizz.  The glittery patterned paper in the background is from the Best Creation A Walk in the Garden 6x6 pad.  The other papers are from my scrap bag.  The adorable image is Tummy Time by Elisabeth Bell for Sweet Pea Stamps. I stamped her on Make it Colour Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored her with my Copics.  I added lots of pink and yellow glitter to the flowers to make them sparkle. I cut her out and popped her up on foam tape. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I cut the layered banner with the Party Banner dies from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  Three pretty flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts finished my Spring card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be around to visit as soon as I get back this afternoon.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Dance With Fairies

Good morning!  Happy Monday! It's possible for Monday to be happy, right?  Hope you had a good weekend and your week is off to a great start!  I have a busy afternoon, but I'm popping in now to share the card I made for the Designed To Color Birthday Bash Crafty Challenge.   It is a "tic tac toe" challenge.

We had to include a colored image and select any three in a row from the following:

I chose the first column - purple, ribbon and bling.  Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Concord Crush and the patterned paper is from the Fab Scraps Blue Heron collection.  My beautiful fairy is Fairy Celandine from Make it Crafty.  I was lucky to win this rubber stamp during the Advent countdown this past December.  I stamped her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I cut her out with my Cameo and popped her up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Paulette generously shared it as a freebie a couple of days ago.   I dyed some seam binding with Popsicle (purple) Glimmer Mist and made a triple-loop bow.  The ornate corner was cut with my Cameo using a Curvy Corner Element from SVG Cuts.  A few iridescent purple gems finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be by to visit your blogs as soon as I get home this afternoon.

I am also entering my card in the following challenges:
Stamptacular Sunday #205 (sketch)

Celebration

I'm back with another quick post tonight.  I'm catching up on all the things I didn't get to do over the weekend.  My card is for a bunch of challenges I like to do. It worked out great that several had similar themes.  So here goes. My card is for the Papertake Weekly Challenge #69 (sketch), Joan's Gardens Challenge #24 (red, white and blue, celebration, tag, stripes), Kenny K.'s Krafty Krew Challenge #100 (patriotic- use colors of your flag), Simon Says Stamp Challenge (sporty or patriotic), Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #170 (red, white and blue and sparkle), Incy Wincy Designs Challenge (patriotic- use colors of your flag), Love to Create Challenge #22 (stars and stripes) and the Copic Challenge #46 on Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom (big hair).  Phew!!

Here is the Papertake Weekly sketch:

Here is my card for all the challenges:

I started with a card base of GKD Red Hot and layered red, white and blue patterned papers from the October Afternoon Sidewalks and School Days 8x8 pads.  I was able to get my stars and stripes in with these papers.  My sassy image is Jasmine from Kenny K.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added sparkle to her top, shoes and glasses with Red Stickles and a Red Spica pen.  I made the silver buttons shine with a Letraset Metallic Marker.  I also added Glossy Accents to her glasses.

Here is a close-up of Jasmine:

The sentiment is from the Have Yourself A set from Create With TLC.  You can find it in Paulette's store here.  I made it into a tag and tied it with some Baker's Twine.  A bit of stitched navy ribbon finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by again.  I appreciate your visits so much!  Hope to see you again soon!
