Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I'm back with a second late post to share my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme for this first challenge in August is "Friendship", in honor of National Friendship Day, which is on Sunday.  We want to see something friendship-oriented and you can now use any coloring medium you'd like.  Please remember that you must still have a colored image on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Rich Razzleberry and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist "Happy Go Lucky" 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is There For You from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart.  Sharon generously shared it as a Friday Freebie here.  The rest of the sentiment, which is on the inside, reads "that's because the best is already mine".  A dotted bow and a few flowers from my stash finished my card.

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far.  We had a gorgeous day yesterday and hopefully today will be the same. It's rare for the humidity to be this reasonable this time of year!  I hope to get out more today to enjoy it!  Right now, though, I am here with this week's Little Miss Muffet DT post.  We have a brand new challenge for you and the theme is everyone's favorite, "anything goes".  No excuses for not coming out for this one!

This time, I picked Sleeping Beauty.  My card base and mats are SU Buckaroo Blue and the papers are from the Basic Grey Periphery collection.  I colored the image with my Copics on MiC Blending Card.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart.  Sharon generously shared it as a Friday Freebie here.  A few smoky gray gems finished my card.

Live for Today

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is going OK so far.  It was quite a stormy night here, but although it is still raining, there is no thunder, at least at the moment.  I am popping in quickly this morning to share a card I made for a couple of challenges.

Here is what I made:

My doily easel card base was cut from Olive cardstock using the Doily Easel Card 2 cut file generously shared as a freebie by Bird's Cards.  The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Mabel 6x6 pad.  The gorgeous stamp is Posy by Norma J. Burnell for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I was lucky enough to have won the rubber stamp on Norma's Facebook page.  I stamped it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of Stickles here and there for some sparkle.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart. Thanks to Sharon, who shared it as a freebie on her blog here.  I didn't add any more embellishments so the image could take center stage.

Here is a close up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Looking forward to visiting with you a little later this morning.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sweet Pea Stampers (shaped cards)
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge #221 (shaped cards)

Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans Art Contest (anything goes with SPS)

Flower Power

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  How is your week going so far?  We got off to a crazy start with severe weather!  There were several tornadoes in the region last night, with quite a bit of damage.  Luckily for us, we just had the strong winds and lots of rain and lightning.  It was still pretty scary until we finally got the all clear around 12:30 AM.  They say we may get some more strong storms tonight, but I hope it won't be as bad as last night.  Especially because our friends arrive today!  Anyway, before they get here, I'm popping in to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing.

Here is my card:

I know!  Can you believe I've done another CAS card?  I don't know what's got into me these days!  Not much to tell you here.  The strip of patterned paper is from the GCD Studios Happiness 6x6 pad and it's machine-stitched around the borders.  The adorable image is Cute-ilicious from Tiddly Inks. I had the pleasure of watching Christy actually draw this at the Texas Coloring Retreat last month, so of course, I had to have it!  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the ladybugs and some Stickles to the butterflies. The sentiment was a Friday Freebie from Sharon at A Piece of Heart.  You can find it here.  A few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Sketch Saturday #302

Good morning!  Happy Saturday from Dallas, Texas!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  We haven't gotten started yet, but I know it's going to be fun weekend of coloring!  I am here with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.  I have pre-scheduled it, so hopefully you are seeing it on time.  Our sponsor this week is Deedee's Digis, who are offering the winner 3 digis of their choice.

Here is the fabulous sketch for this week from Cathy:

Here is my card:

As I often do, I flipped the sketch to fit my image.  My card base and mats are SU Cranberry Crisp and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Forever Fall 6x6 pad.  The gorgeous image is Toadstool Fascination by ching chou kuik for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed the digi on Hammermill Digital Cover Stock and colored it with my Copics.  I added Aqua Stickles to the piece in her hair and Ice White Pearl Pen accents at the top of her dress and around in her hair.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart. Sharon generously shared it as a freebie here.  A simple ribbon bow finished my card.

Dance in the Rain

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post today.  It's a miracle, I know.  I started feeling a little better this afternoon, so I went into the craft room and got a card done that I now want to share.  It's for a few challenges that I will name at the bottom of my post.

Here it is:

My circle easel card base and mats are SU More Mustard and the pretty fall-colored papers are from the Basic Grey Clippings (patchwork backgrounds), Black Tie, Oxford and Stella Ruby collections.   The adorable image is Sweet Oklahoma from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's store here.  I colored her skin, hair and bow with my Copics and paper-pieced the rest of the image.  The sentiment is a Friday Freebie from Sharon's A Piece of Heart blog.  You can see a close-up below.  A triple-loop bow of mustard grosgrain and a bunch of coordinated Basic Grey buttons finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored and paper-pieced image:

Here is a close-up of the sentiment:

Little Miss Muffet Stamps - Mega New Release and More

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope you are having a good week so far!  If you visited the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog last Thursday, Friday or Sunday looking for the new release, Friday Freebie or Sunday Spotlight, then you saw that they were all on hold until today and wow, do we have a massive reveal in store for you today! You'd better grab a coffee and settle in, because in addition to the new stamp releases, Barbara has given the Little Miss Muffet Stamp shop a brand new look and there will be lots of special offers to help celebrate!  As far as the new release goes, there are both rubber stamps and digis from Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and it's all about Christmas this time!  Wait until you see how adorable all these stamps are!  Check out the New Releases Section of the fab new store to see everything!

To get started, here is my card for the new release:

My card base and mats are SU Ruby Red and the patterned paper is from the October Afternoon Holiday Style 8x8 pad.  The adorable image is All The Trimmings by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her up with my Copics, then added lots of texture and sparkle with Stickles, Snow Glitter and Glossy Accents.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I finished up my simple design with a red taffetta bow.  The sketch was one I missed from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Here is a close-up of the image:

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Oozak Challenge #18 (anything goes with texture)
Sentimental Sundays #164 (Christmas in July plus a sentiment)
Pollycraft Challenge #3 (ruby red)

But that's not all.  I wasn't able to make a card for the Friday Freebie feature, but be sure to check out what the other DT girls have done with Polka Dot Pals Glasses.  I do have a card for the Sunday Spotlight, which was to use any Fancy Sunbonnet stamp from Bugaboo for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Primrose Petals and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Sisters collection.  My adorable image is Fancy Sunbonnet Flowers.  I colored her with my Copics and added Buttercup Liquid Pearls to the flower centers.  I added more pearl accents along the punched borders and the corners.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart.  Sharon generously shared it as a freebie last August.  You can find it here.  Some wide pink crocheted lace finished my card.  The sketch was another I missed on the Seems a Little Sketchy blog.
