Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and you have fun plans for the upcoming weekend!  We've been having such beautiful weather.  I hope it continues into the weekend.  Anyway, I am here now with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "celebrate World Postage Day".  We want to see something to do with mail.  It can be a postcard, stamps, images of a mailbox, etc.  You get the picture.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must still have a hand-colored image on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Cranberry Tart and the patterned paper is from the American Crafts Merrymint 6x6 pad.  The cute image is Swings 'n Slides Happy Mail by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics and added glitter to the snow and the trim on her jacket.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A big striped bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the fab creations from my teammies, Laine, Penny and Kathi and our Guest Designer for October, Joan.  We hope you will play along!  For the month of October, we are sponsored by Karleigh Sue Digis.  Cheri is offering the winner a $10 GC to the Karleigh Sue Digi shop.  Go check it out!

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I've been quite busy this week, but I'm hoping things will slow down a little over the weekend.  I am here today with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is " at the beach/pool".  Easy, right?  Remember that we've opened the challenge to any coloring medium, but you must still have a colored image on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Lost Lagoon and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Paradise Beach 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Lounging Around by Sassy Studio Designs.  It was generously offered as a Friday Freebie a couple of years ago on the now defunct Paper Craft Planet.  There is a newer version with a similar look currently available in the shop.  It's called Lounging Around Sassy.  Anyway, I printed the image on Hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copics.  I added some polka dots with my Sharpie White Paint Pen and a little flower design to the cushion on the chair.  I also added in a beach, ocean and sky with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A couple of 3D sand dollar stickers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the fabulous creations from my teammies, Dawn, Penny and Kathi.  We hope you will come and play along!  This month we are sponsored by All Dressed Up Stamps who are offering the lucky winner two digis of their choice from the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy shop.  Go over and check out Wendy's adorable digis!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #87 (and more)

Good morning! Happy Thursday! Well, it would be happy if Mr. Blogger hadn't turned my scheduled post into a Draft.  Sorry to be late! Anyway, hope you've had a good week so far!  It's been a busy one for me and today will be no different, it seems.  I am here with my DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We have a brand new challenge for you today!  The theme this time is "funky hair".  No blondes, brunettes, redheads, etc.  We want to see an unusual hair color, OK?   I have something extra today.  Today starts a new monthly challenge over at Crafty Little Fairies. This is my second month as Guest Designer and their theme is "spots and stripes".  It's not often I can combine DT projects, but these worked perfectly together.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Island Indigo and the patterned papers are from the Fancy Pants Wonderful Day 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Polka Dot Pals Faye after our esteemed DT leader! I gave my Faye a face with the Polka Dot Pals Add-on Faces.  I colored the image with my Copics and added some fun red Stickles to her pocket and trim and her glasses.  I also added Glossy Accents to the glasses.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few opaque gems and some flowers from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:
