Little Miss Muffet Inspiration Thursday

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope your week is going OK.  Sorry I haven't been around much this week.  All is OK, but I've been very busy with physical therapy, appointments and a bunch of other things and I just haven't made it to my craft room much. I did get there long enough to make a card for my Little Miss Muffet Thursday Inspiration post over on the Little Miss Muffet Stamps Facebook page.  Throughout the day, the Little Misses will be posting inspiration projects with some our favorite LMMS products.  Be sure to visit and check them out!  There is always lots of fun chat, too!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Hello Honey and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Collectable "Remarkable" 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Polka Dot Pals Jamie from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her up with my Copics and added a little grass at her feet.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  That's it!  I kept this one simple.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the LMMS Facebook page and feast your eyes on today's inspiration projects!  Don't forget about our ongoing "anything goes" challenge on the blog.  You still have until Tuesday, July 29th to enter.

Dancing Fairy

Hello again!  I'm back with a super quick post to share a fun card I was working on and managed to finish up.  This one was just for fun and coloring practice, something I don't get to do very often.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned paper is from the Prima Fairy Flora 6x6 pad.  The whimsical image is Dancing Floral Fairy from Make it Crafty.  She's one of a series of three pretty floral fairies with some extras, too.  I printed her on MiC blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I've been trying to practice my creases and folds at every opportunity.  I struggled with this one a little, but I am going to go back over some of the lessons in Zoe's Techniques Behind My Creases and Folds eBook and see if I can refine this a bit for next time. I added a little white dot detail to her hair with my Sharpie White Paint Pen.  I also added a dotted background in pale pastels with my Copics. A few gems and some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished my simple card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: RV10, R81, R83, R85, R89
Greens: YG01, YG03, YG25, YG17, YG67, G94
Wings: BG10, BG45, BG53, BG57

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out the Make it Crafty Facebook page for lots of inspiration, encouragement and fun chat!  You'll always have a heads-up on new releases, specials and friendly challenges!  And don't forget about the new photo gallery over at the MiC store!  Be sure to enter all your MiC projects there. It's simple to do and your project might just be picked for the Feature Gallery!

Have a great day and see you soon!

The Digi Bells Blog Hop

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post, as promised.  It's time for this month's Digi Bells Blog Hop and I know you are going to love this month's new addition to the digi collection!

Please welcome "Gold Fishing" to the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection!  Isn't this image adorable?  Some of you may remember it.  It was once a stamp from SCACD.  I'm so glad it has been brought back as a digi!  You should have arrived here from Mary Lou's blog.  If not, you'll definitely want to start back at Alethea's blog so you don't miss a single gorgeous creation!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park A Perfect Summer 6x6 pad.  I colored up the sweet image with my Copics.  I added some Aqua Stickles to the little fish and then I added Glossy Accents all over the bowl.  Some ribbon, a diecut button and a sparkly 3-D fish sticker finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Lynda's blog!  Be sure to leave comments at every stop to increase your chances of winning this adorable digi!  The hop goes until 9:00 AM on Friday, July 25th and the winners will be announced on the Digi Bells blog on Saturday, July 26th.  Have fun hopping and good luck!

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have something fun planned for the weekend!  After several gorgeous days here, it is now supposed to rain for the next 4-5 days!  So much for outdoor activities this weekend!  I guess that means more time for crafting!  Anyway, I am here now with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is a color inspiration.  You don't have to match the colors exactly, but we want to be able to recognize the general color palette.  Remember that our challenge is now open to any coloring medium, but you still must have a colored image on your project.

Here is the color inspiration from Design Seeds:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste "Adorbs" 6x6 pad.  The image is Looking Gorgeous from All Dressed Up Stamps.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of Liquid Pearls to her jewelry.  A paper doily and a few Wild Orchid Crafts Cherry Blossoms finished my card.
