Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I'm back, as promised, with my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "milestone birthdays". You can choose any "big" birthday you'd like, but remember you must have some coloring with alcohol markers on your project.  Any brand is fine.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Elegant Eggplant and the patterned papers are from the Memory Box Viola 6x6 pack.  My birthday image is Party Girl from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added lots of Purple and Green Stickles to her jewelry and Peacock Liquid Pearls to her necklace.  I also added Glossy Accents to her wine glass.  Both sentiments are from Create With TLC.  I think they came from the Taste of The Clubs this summer, but I couldn't swear to it.  A few Basic Grey Bling It diamond gems and a single purple rose finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the fantastic milestone birthday creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will join in on the challenge!  The January challenges are being sponsored by our very own DT sistah, Dawn, who is offering a $15 gift certificate to Etsy to one randomly-selected participant in our challenges!  You can't win if you don't play!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Seems A Little Sketchy #30 (sketch)
Totally Stampalicious (use favorite color trio - mine is purple, aqua and lime green)

Have a great Friday!  Hope to see you soon!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Photo Inspiration

Hello!  Happy Thursday!  Sorry I haven't been around much.  Still a lot going on for me.  My thoughts are with everyone impacted by the enormous storm that hit the Northeast.  Since I come from the area, I still have many friends and family in the vicinity .  I pray that everyone is OK and the effects of the storm are not too long-lasting for any of you.  Being that it is Thursday, of course I am here with my DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We have a new challenge starting today!  It is a photo inspiration this time, with a theme of "fireworks".

Here is one of the photos shared on the blog for inspiration:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Taken With Teal.  I used a combination of sparkly patterned papers from my stash.  Some are from Recollections and some from the DCWV Spring Glitter Matstack.   My adorable image is Celeste Amberglow Fairy Special from the recent new release from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.   I added some Stickles here and there for some extra sparkle.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I cut the banner from glitter paper using the new Party Banner Diecut from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I added the little stars leftover from the banner diecut to the image corners and a little heart from the diecut to her top.  I punched a few more stars from green glitter paper and popped them up.  A sparkly teal rhinestone flourish finished my card.

Style is Eternal

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Sorry I've been MIA this week.  I've had some family issues to deal with and haven't had much time in the craft room or on the computer.  But I'm here now to share my first post as a full member of the Little Miss Muffet DT!  I am so thrilled that they asked me to stay on after being a GD for September!  We have a new challenge for you this week!  The theme is "simplicity".  All of you who know me know I love to pile on the layers and use lots of patterned papers on my creations, so this theme really was a challenge for me!

Here is my card:

I started with an A6 card base of GKD Heavy Base Weight White and added a half-panel of patterned paper from the Kaisercraft Chapter One 6.5 x 6.5 pad matted with GKD Black Onyx.  My elegant image is Evelyn from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Lime Green and Aqua Stickles to her accessories to make them sparkle and shimmer.  I matted the image with a Spellbinders Floral Oval diecut. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Retail Therapy set in Paulette's store here.  I couldn't help myself from adding a seam binding bow and a few iridescent gems from my stash to finish up my "simple" design.

Here is a close-up of Evelyn:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the new challenge on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from my amazingly-talented teammates and our awesome Guest Designer for October, Paula-Kay!  We hope you'll play along with the challenge!  And don't forget, if you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp, you can do "anything goes"!  You have until Tuesday, October 16 to enter your creation.

My card is also for the following challenges: Simon Says Stamp (glimmer and sparkle), Crafts and Me Challenge #104 (add a sentiment to front of card) and Totally Stampalicious Challenge (anything goes).

Have a great day and see you again soon!
