Little Miss Muffet Inspiration Post

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far.  Surprisingly, I am coming to you live after my back surgery on Monday, but I have to make it quick since I am not supposed to be sitting for very long.  I ended up being admitted Monday night instead of getting to come home afterwards, but I was discharged right away on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I had a bit of a rough day yesterday, but I am feeling much better today.  Not only that, we lost our internet service during the storms Monday night and this is the first time we've had internet access since then.  Anyway, I am here this morning with my Little Miss Muffet DT card.  Today is Inspiration Thursday over in the Little Miss Muffet Facebook group, so you will see lots of fantastic projects over there.  There are also a few sneak peeks of the upcoming release that you won't want to miss!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park So Happy Together 6x6 pad (I think-can't climb upstairs to check).  The sweet image is Swings 'n Slides Swinging Friends by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored it up with my Copics and added a few white dots with my Sharpie paint pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Facebook page throughout the day for some fun inspiration from the rest of the Little Misses!  Don't forget there is still time to play along with our "funky hair" challenge.  You have until next Tuesday, June 17th to enter.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Through the Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Paper Crafting Journey (anything goes)
MarkerPop Challenge #45 (anything goes)
Crafty Girls Challenge #20 (anything goes)

Have a great day and I will be around as soon as I am able.

Sketch Saturday #305

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  It's still lovely here, so it's looking to be a terrific weekend.  I just love it when all the trees are in bloom and the birds are singing and flocking to my feeders!  Anyway,  I am here with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.  We are generously sponsored by Simon Says Stamp!  They are offering a $25 voucher for the Simon Says Stamp store!

Here is the fantastic sketch from Jen:

Here is my take on the sketch:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Celebrate Joyfully from Tiddly Inks.  I used the digi version, but the image is also available in a clear stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp store.  I printed Emma on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a little grass with my Copics, too.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some stitching and a few Wild Orchid Crafts Sweetheart Blossoms finished my card:

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you are looking forward to a fun weekend!  It's pouring down rain and windy here, but at least it's pretty warm.  It's a perfect for staying in and coloring!  First, I am here with my DT post for the Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz.  Since it's the last Friday of the month, the theme this week is "anything goes" with the optional twist of making a Christmas or Winter holiday card.  You may create anything you'd like, but please remember your project must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

I decided to go with a Christmas card for my stash. My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye All is Bright 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Fairy Merrily from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  I turned her into a Christmas fairy!  She is printed on Hammermill card and colored with my Copics.  I added some Gold Liquid Pearls and Red Stickles for some added detail.  Some taffeta ribbon, a few pearls and a shimmery poinsettia from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

You Look Marvelous

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a terrific start!  I am popping in really quickly to share a card I made with a new set Paulette has added to her Create With TLC store.  It's got a couple of fun vintage images and of course, fantastic sentiments to pair with them!

Here is "Look Cute":

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the Teresa Collins Fabrications 6x6 pad.  I colored the elegant vintage image from Look Cute with my Copics.  The sentiment was a freebie some time back from Create With TLC.  I thought it matched well with the image.  That's it!  I kept it very simple with no added embellishments.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be around to visit a little later.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  It's going to be rainy all weekend, so it will be a good time to catch up on things and take stock of what's left to do to get ready for the holidays.  First things first.  I am here to share my DT project for this week's Super Saturday post on the Little Miss Muffet blog.  We have a freebie, a $1 digi, a spotlighted stamp at a reduced price and as always, inspiration from the Little Misses for all of them.

The freebie is Palm Tree and the $1 digi is Christmas Palm Tree.  They are so fun!  I didn't have a chance to use them, but I did make a card with one of the spotlighted stamps, Eleanor May Hatter.  Hatter Hats and Hatter Hat Stands are also spotlighted.

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Bright Christmas 6x6 pad.  I colored up Eleanor May Hatter with my Copics and added some Liquid Pearls and Star Dust Stickles to the plume and ornament on her hat.  That's it!  A simple green satin bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the Little Misses then head over to the Little Miss Muffet store for your goodies!  Don't forget we just started a new challenge on Thursday.  You have until Tuesday, December 17th at 11:55 PM to enter our "you've been framed" challenge.

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  At last we've reached the end of the week!  I hope you've got some fun plans for the weekend!  It's going to be pretty quiet around here, I hope.  We've got a couple of things on the "to do" list, but it's all easy, I think.  Anyway, as always on Friday, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "make a card for a child - any occasion".  The theme was selected in honor of Universal Children's Day.

Here is my child's card:

My card base and mats are SU Pale Plum and the patterned papers are from the Prima Meadow Lark 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Li'l Princess Tu-tu from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added lots of bling to the image: Diamond Stickles to her Tiara, Lavender Stickles to the star on her wand, and Lavender Lace Liquid Pearls to the scalloped frame and her top and boots.  The sentiment was a Friday Freebie from Sharon at A Piece of Heart blog.  I added some Wild Orchid Crafts roses, buds and carnations.  A few lilac pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Little Miss Muffet - New Release

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  I am having trouble sitting for very long since my surgery, so I am not getting to create and visit as much as I'd like.  I hope that I will do better every day.  Meanwhile, I am here with my DT post for Little Miss Muffet.  I had my card done ahead of time, just in case, and it's a good thing.  We have a new release for you today!  Lots of fun new Polka Dot Pals have hit the shop and are they ever cute!  Check out the new releases section of the Little Miss Muffet store to see them all!

Before I show you my card,  I wanted to let you know about a big sale going on in the Little Miss Muffet store.  Barbara is retiring over 100 rubber and digi stamps at a huge discount, so you'd better head over and grab your favorites before they are gone for good!

Now here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Vintage Christmas 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Polka Dot Pals Chrissie.  I added the face using Ready Face #2.  What a brilliant idea Barbara had to provide some cute faces that worked with these stamps!  I, for one, am a terrible artist so I would never have considered botching up one of the darling Polka Dot Pals with my own face! Anyway, I colored up the image with my Copics and added lots of Stickles and glitter to sparkle it up.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A triple-loop seam binding bow, a pearl button and Liquid Pearl accents around the scalloped frame finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT and our special  Guest Designers, Nic and Debbie!    Don't forget, you have until November 5 at 11:55 PM CST to enter our Spooktacular Challenge.  We hope you'll play along!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sketch 'n Stash #124 (sketch)
Paper Crafting Journey (anything goes)
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Tammy's Scrapin' Corner Challenge (anything goes)
The Cutie Pies Challenge #56 (embellishment BINGO;  I used top row: bow, pearls, glitter)

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am out of town again for a couple of days, so I have another pre-scheduled post today.  I am sharing my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz.  This week we have a color inspiration challenge for you.  You can do anything you'd like with the colors, but please remember to have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is the color inspiration photo that our teammie, Tress, picked:

It's a perfect color palette for fall or Halloween, don't you think?

Here is my card:

I went the Halloween route and used some fun Halloween patterned paper from K & Co. for the background.  I cut a big spider web with a cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables, then cut it in pieces to add around the border of my card.  The adorable image is Pirate Kai by Mo Manning for Penny Black.  I stamped him on MiC Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a bit of Yellow Stickles to the jack-o-lantern face.  A few plastic spiders in the webs and around the image finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along with us this week!  There are always great prizes to be won when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!
