Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  I hope you weekend is off to a great start!  I am popping in early to share my DT card for Super Saturday on Little Miss Muffet blog.  As always, we have a fun freebie and a spotlighted stamp that is available at a reduced price in the Little Miss Muffet shop.  The DT has some fabulous inspiration to share with both!

The freebie this week is Monster Vic.  I didn't have a chance to create with him, but he is another of the adorable monsters available in the shop.  The spotlighted stamp sets are Swings 'n Slides Carnival Sentiments #1 and #2.  The sentiments are fabulous on their own, but also pair perfectly with all the fun carnival-inspired stamps from Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the October Afternoon Midway 8x8 pad.  The fun main image is Swings 'n Slides Carousel from Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I've colored it up with my Copics and added lots of Stickles for sparkle.  The sentiment is from Swings 'n Slides Carnival Sentiments #2.  I finished my card with a chevron ribbon bow, a button and some gems from my stash.

Alcohol Marker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's Labor Day weekend here in the States, so there is always something fun going on in the area. Even though the kids are already back to school here, Labor Day weekend has always signified the end of summer to me. Where I grew up, we didn't go back to school until after Labor Day. Anyway, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this time is the ever-popular "anything goes" with the optional twist to make a Christmas card for your stash.  You can do anything you'd like, but you must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Jillibean Soup Winter Tortellini and Spinach Soup 6x6 pad.  My cute image is Joy from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  She was another of the fabulous stamps in the blog candy I won from my teammie, Tress, awhile back.  I really hit the jackpot with that win!  Thanks again, Tress!  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics,  The sentiment came with the stamp.  A few buttons with twine bows and a taffeta ribbon bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT.  We hope you will play along! It's your last chance to get in the running for the terrific monthly prize! The freebie for this week is Sister Brinda from the Van Family Sisters.  I didn't have a chance to create with her this week, but she's a doll!  The spotlighted stamp is Cool Chester.  I just love Chester and this stamp is super cute and perfect for these last summer days!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pretty in Pink and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Knee Highs 6x6 pad.  Cool Chester is by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored him up with my Copics then added a bunch of colorful Stickles to the sprinkles on the ice cream.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A little stain bow and a few gems finished my card.

Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a good start!  I am enjoying the company of my good friends and family and not spending much time on the computer this weekend.  That said, I am, of course, here to share my post for this week's Super Saturday at Little Miss Muffet Stamps blog.  If you've been checking in lately, you know that on Super Saturday, there is a new freebie for you, as well as a rubber stamp that is available at a reduced price in the Little Miss Muffet store.   The DT has lots of inspiration with both over on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog.

This week's freebie is Monster Urm.  I didn't have a chance to create with him for today, but he sure is a cutie!  The spotlighted stamp is Angel Wings.  This is such a versatile stamp set!  It can be used alone or in combination with other "angel" images.  I chose to combine it with a pretty digi stamp called Thyme.  She is from the Sugar and Spice Dolls collection from Forgotten Scraps at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Innocent Pink and the soft pastel patterned papers are from the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic and Bundle of Joy Girl 6x6 pads.  I colored both images with my Copics and cut them out with my Cameo  I added Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist to the angel wings and tiny pearl accents to the flower centers with my Viva Decor Bronze Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Three coordinating buttons from my stash finished my card.

Lilli Faye

Hi again!  I am back with a quick second post today to share something I've been working on for a few days.  I've had a few stops and starts and total do-overs and it still needs improvement, but I had to call it quits and post it before I lost the nerve.  This was purely a coloring exercise and I obviously need lots more practice.  Next time, I'd make the image, especially the fairy, bigger so it was easier to color and shade, but here goes:

I merged two magical images from Make it Crafty - Magical Mushroom Digi Stamp and Lilli Faye.  I printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics (colors below).  I colored the clouds and sky with my Copics, too.  I added lots of Star Dust Stickles to her wings and dress, Yellow Stickles to the butterflies and White Opal Liquid Pearls to the spots on the mushrooms. I finished my card with a triple-loop seam binding bow, a millifiori polymer clay button (from Nat's Etsy shop, PolymerClayBox) and a few chipboard elements from Make it Crafty that I still had stashed (no longer available).

Here is a close-up of the image:

Copic colors:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Reds: R22, R35, R37, RV29, E19
Browns: E41, E447, E49, E55, E57
Greens: YG01, YG03, YG17, YG25, YG67

Thanks for stopping by again and indulging me while I share my coloring practice!

Oh, and my card is also for The Squirrel and The Fox Challenge #50 (whimsical).  The challenge was sponsored by Make it Crafty.

Have a great evening and see you soon!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #67

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  It's been a busy one for me and I haven't had as much time as I'd like in my craft room, but I did get my Little Miss Muffet DT card ready in time.  Today we have a new challenge for you.  The theme is "monster ball".  We want to see your cute monsters this time! Little Miss Muffet Stamps has lots of adorable monsters that would fit the bill perfectly!

Here is my monster card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Pebbles Sunny Side collection.  The cute image is Monster Pat from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored it in bright colors with my Copics and added some Stickles to the spots for added sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some Bermuda Bay dotted ribbon and a few yellow gems from my stash finished my card.

Christmas Angel

Hi there!  Yep, it's me again!  I'm back with another quick post for today.  You can tell I've been stuck inside and I've found some time for visiting my craft room.  This will be brief, I promise. I've made another Christmas card for a few challenges.  I am really happy with the little stack of cards I've gotten done so far!  Maybe I won't be swamped come mid-December!  Well, I guess we will see about that when the time comes!

Here is my card:

My card base is GKD Good As Gold and the patterned papers are from the Webster's Pages Home for the Holidays/Winter Wings Petite Papers pack.  I've been hoarding these papers forever!  My adorable image is The Littlest Angel from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.   I just found out that the same image is available in a diecut card topper set called Christmas Angels at The Hobby House.  It comes in a pack of three different angel images and they are all adorable.  I printed my digi on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics in colors to match the beautiful toppers.  I added some pearl accents with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  I cut out the image with Spellbinders Labels One and framed it with Spellbinders Decorative Labels One.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some pretty lace, a triple loop seam binding bow with a 3-D holly sticker and a few crimson pearls finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful evening and weekend!
