Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have something fun planned for the weekend!  It has finally gotten a tiny bit cooler here, so it might be possible to be outside!  Sure hope so.  I am tired of being stuck in the air conditioning.  I am here this morning with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "at the beach".  Anything beach-related will do, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Kiwi Kiss and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Summer Bliss 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Little Seahorse by Holly Durr from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I colored it with my Copics and added some Ice White Pearl Pen accents.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A satin bow and button finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Little Miss Muffet - Inspiration Thursday

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you're having a good week so far.  It's still super hot and humid here.  We did get a little rain last night, but it didn't really cool things down much.  Hopefully there will be a break in the action soon.  Before heading out for a busy day, I am here with my Little Miss Muffet DT card.  It's Inspiration Thursday this week, so as always, the Little Misses will have lots of inspiration for you over in the Little Miss Muffet Facebook group.  Be sure to stop by and check it out!

Here is my card:

Now here's something you don't see too often from me - a CAS design with no patterned paper to be found!  This beautiful image doesn't need anything else, in my opinion.  It is Dragonfly Floral from DoveArt Studiosavailable from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  The detailing of these images by Jennifer Dove is amazing and it makes them a delight to color.   I colored this with my Copics.  I added some Star Dust Stickles to the dragonfly for just a touch of shimmer.  The sentiment is from an old set from Gina K. Designs.  A simple black mat to set off the image and that was it.

Here is a closer view of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Facebook group and check out the Thursday Inspiration from the rest of the Little Misses.  Don't forget about our "anything goes" challenge over on the blog.  You still have until Tuesday, July 28th to enter.

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good afternoon!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and your weekend holds some fun plans!  We are supposed to have thunderstorms and rain most of the weekend, so there won't be many outdoor activities for us, I don't think.  I am here now with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The themes this week is "anything goes" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  The twist is completely optional, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.

Here is my card:

I decided to do the Christmas twist.  No time like the present to get a jump start on Christmas cards!  My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Pink Paislee Noel collection.  The beautiful image is The Gift by Norma J. Burnell available from Sweet Pea Stamps and Norma's Fairy Tangles Art Etsy Shop.  I colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of colors of Stickles for extra sparkle and I also added Gold Liquid Pearls to her necklace and the pearls in her hair.  A triple-loop seam binding bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from my talented teammies!  We hope you will find time to join us for the challenge!  This is the last week to get in on the fabulous prize from our June sponsor, Fairy Tangles Art (Norma J. Little Miss Muffet Challenge #97

Good morning!  Happy Thursday! I hope all is well with you and you are having a crafty week!  As you saw in my late post last night,  I have been super busy with real life and haven't had much time to craft or blog this past week or so.  I hope that I can get back to my regular schedule soon.  Anyway, I am here now with this week's Little Miss Muffet DT post.  We have a new challenge this week and the theme is "if you go down to the woods".  I know.  What does that mean?  I asked the same question and basically, we want to see either fairies or bears on your project.   See, that was easy!

Here is my project:

My card base and mats are SU Grass Green and the patterned paper is from the Bo Bunny Autumn Song 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Spencer's Garden by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He's one of the stamps on the gigantic sale so if you love him, go get him!  I colored him with my Copics and added some grass for him to sit in.  A few Autumn-toned flowers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Guest Designer - Love To Create Challenge

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a nice weekend and your week is off to a great start!  We were supposed to get lots of rain, but we didn't get a single drop!  Maybe later today we will get a little.  Anyway, I have a project today and some exciting news!  I was invited to be a Guest Designer for the Love to Create Challenge starting today!  The theme is "love of ribbons".  They want to see ribbons on your project. The sponsor is Sami Stamps and I was generously provided with a digi for my project.

Here is my card:

My easel card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from Gina K. Designs.  I think they were called Berries and Vines, but I wouldn't swear to it.  The sweet image is "A Basket Full" from Sami Stamps.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics. The sentiment is computer-generated.  I added a few Wild Orchid Crafts Daisies, some gingham ribbons and a fun wooden strawberry sticker to finish my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #95 - Make it Mini

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope your week is going well so far!  It's going to be busier than usual on my blog today, so here we go.  I am here with my DT card for the new Little Miss Muffet challenge which is starting today.  The theme this time is "make it mini".  We want to see something small.  No regular-sized cards this time.  It can be an ATC or small altered item or anything else besides a full-sized card.  We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here is my ATC:

The base for my ATC is SU Pool Party.  The adorable image is Primrose Flower Fairy by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her in with my Copics and added some grass for her to kneel in.  Her wings are covered in Eucalyptus Stickles for some sparkle.  The flower centers have Yellow Stickles.  The only embellishment is a wooden butterfly.  Simple and sweet!

Live for Today

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is going OK so far.  It was quite a stormy night here, but although it is still raining, there is no thunder, at least at the moment.  I am popping in quickly this morning to share a card I made for a couple of challenges.

Here is what I made:

My doily easel card base was cut from Olive cardstock using the Doily Easel Card 2 cut file generously shared as a freebie by Bird's Cards.  The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Mabel 6x6 pad.  The gorgeous stamp is Posy by Norma J. Burnell for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I was lucky enough to have won the rubber stamp on Norma's Facebook page.  I stamped it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of Stickles here and there for some sparkle.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart. Thanks to Sharon, who shared it as a freebie on her blog here.  I didn't add any more embellishments so the image could take center stage.

Here is a close up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Looking forward to visiting with you a little later this morning.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sweet Pea Stampers (shaped cards)
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge #221 (shaped cards)
