Mo's Digital Challenge - Anything Goes

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  It's definitely starting out to be a happy day, because it's time for another fun Mo's Challenge!  The theme this week is everyone's favorite -anything goes!  This time, we have an optional sketch from our very own Iulia!  You are welcome to use Iulia's fun sketch, but it is not a requirement for the challenge.

Here is Iulia's sketch:

Here is my card:

I used Iulia's sketch (kinda sorta).  I added a sentiment where she had a tag.  I started with a card base of SU Ruby Red and layered with patterned papers from the October Afternoon Sidewalks 8x8 pad.  My adorable Mo image is A Big Whoop.  You can find her in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.   The sentiment is Create With TLC.  Check out Paulette's new store here.  A striped ribbon bow, a few wood buttons and some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished off my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to head over to Mo's Challenge blog and check out the fabulous creations from my amazingly talented teammies!  We hope you'll play along this week!  We always love seeing your fantastic designs and you have the chance to win a GC for Mo's store when you enter!

I am also entering my card in the Aud Sentiments Challenge #53 (anything goes) and the Love to Create Challenge #13 (buttons and flowers).

Have a great day!

Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and have some fun plans for the weekend!  I am finally just about over this cold and hope to have a much better weekend than the last one!  I'm popping in now to share my DT card for the Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  This week's theme is "balloons".

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of SU Pool Party and layered with a springy floral patterned paper from the Authentique Delightful 6x6 pad.  My cute image is Maya's Balloons from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find her in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bit of Stickles to her shoes and the flowers on her little outfit.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I added a little satin bow and that was it.

Oh, and I'm also entering my card into the Aud Sentiments Challenge #52 (anything with spring or summer colors).

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the fabulous balloon creations from my wonderful DT sistahs!  We hope you will play along with us this week!  There are always fantastic prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Have a great day!

Walking On Sunshine

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope you are having a good day so far!  I managed to finish another card I was working on, so I thought I'd pop by and share it here.  It is for the Belles 'n Whistles Monthly Challenge (use butterflies), the Digi Bells March Release Blog Hop (use flowers), the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge #43 (anything goes) and the Aud Sentiments Challenge #50 (sentiment that represents a song).

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of some pink cardstock from Archiver's but I failed to write down the color when I got it.  I layered with patterned papers from the Basic Grey Hello Luscious 6x6 pad.  My Elisabeth Bell image is Belles 'n Whistles Patches and Braids.  I stamped her on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored her with Copic markers.  I added a little Stickles here and there for some sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Encore set which can be found in Paulette's store here.  I thought it would be perfect for the Aud Sentiments song title challenge.  I added a bunch of flowers from my stash and three rhinestone butterflies to finish my card.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great day and I hope to see you soon!

Guylou's Inimitability Challenge

Good morning!  It's super early for me!  In fact, I'm still sleeping as this post goes live!  I've got some exciting news and a card to share!  My card is for the new challenge on Guylou's Inimitability Blog - Things With Wings! I am excited because I was invited to be Guest Designer for this challenge, so I got to create alongside the rest of the fabulous GI DT!  How fun!

Here is some information from Guylou about the challenge:

Title: Things with Wings Challenge
Welcome to another challenge at Guylou's. This time our challenge is about things with wings.

Challenge Deadline:
You have until 10:00pm on March 15th to link your project to the InLinkz at the end of this post. Please make sure your project matches the requirements before you link it.

How to participate:
You can enter only ONE project per challenge, but if you use a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp, your project will count for two entries. If you don't have one of her digistamps and your budget is tight; please check her online store where several freebies are available.

Prizes:
A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
1. A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store
2. The winner will also be invited to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges.

OK, so here is my card for the challenge:

I started with a card base of SU Pool Party and layered with fun patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary (Mary, Mary) collection.  My cute Guylou's image is Starla.  She can be found in Guylou's store here.  The matching sentiment comes free with the image.  I printed Starla on Cryogen White and colored her with Copics.  I added lots of Stickles for some extra sparkle.  A double-loop bow and a tiny paper rose from my stash finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks, Guylou, for the opportunity to Guest Design for the challenge!  Be sure to visit Guylou's Inimitability blog and check out the fantastic creations from Guylou and her team!

My card is also for Aud Sentiments Challenge #49 which was to create a project with the words Happy Birthday in the sentiment.

Happy

Hi there!  I know it's late for me on a Sunday, but it was a busy day and this is the first chance I had to pop in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do.  First, it's for the current challenge on Guylou's Inimitability blog (girly girly - use lace and pearls).  It is also for Sweet Sketch Wednesday #141, JUGS #124 (color challenge - teal, green, pink and yellow), Aud Sentiments Challenge (use the word Happy) and finally, Crafty Emma's Store Challenge (Spots and Dots).

Here is the SSW sketch:

Here is the JUGS Color Inspiration:

And here is my card:

I started with a card base of Papertrey Aqua Mist and layered with patterned papers from the Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer collection.  It's a little hard to see, but the background has a spotted pattern. I added squares punched from yellow dotted paper from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Sunshine 6x6 pad.  My image is Leah from Guylou's Inimitability.  She can found in Guylou's store here.  I printed her on Cryogen white and colored her with Copics.  I wove some pink gingham ribbon through some lace trim and added a triple loop bow and a yellow pearl.  My sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  It was shared as a freebie for the challenge on the Aud Sentiments blog.  I finished off my card with some Pink Liquid Pearl accents around the Spellbinders Scalloped Petite Oval frame.

Thanks for stopping by! I always appreciate when you visit!  See you soon!

A Couple of Cards

Hi there!  Hope you're having a good weekend so far!  Things have finally calmed down a little and I was able to complete a couple of cards I was working on.   I hope I'll gradually get caught up on all my cards and on visiting your blogs.  I am getting there!

My first card is for Aud Sentiments Challenge #46 where the theme was "love".  Paulette from Create With TLC generously offered a freebie love sentiment on the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog that we could use for our creation.  It was so cute, I decided to use it for my card.

I started with a card base of GKD Black Onyx and layered with patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Sunshine 6x6 pad.  I used Paulette's freebie (If Love Were A Movie...) and also a couple of tickets from Create With TLC that Paulette shared as part of the February Club.  The popcorn box is from DRS Designs.  I did a little coloring with Copics and added a bit of Stickles to the salt on the popcorn.  A stitched ribbon bow finished my card.

I created a second card for the Create With TLC DT using a sentiment from a new set called Women Equal Strength which can be found in the Create With TLC store.  I thought it paired perfectly with this wonderful digi image from Robert Jackson called She's Fierce.  It can be found on Robert's site here.  I was very lucky to have won a couple of his fantastic images during my friend Chana's blog contest.

I started with a card base of GKD Black Onyx and layered with SU Pool Party and patterned paper from the Kaisercraft Chapter One 6.5 x 6.5 pad.  I colored the image with Copic markers and added some Star Dust Stickles, Glossy Accents and adhesive pearls to her outfit and shoes for a little extra detail.  A pearl and rhinestone flourish, a sheer ribbon bow and a Webster's Pages Sparkler with an added pearl finished my second card.  I'm entering this in this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge, too.  It was "anything goes" this time.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great rest of the weekend and hope to see you again soon!

Invisible Crown

Hi there!  Yes, it's me again!  I'm back with a super quick post to share the card I made for the current Aud Sentiments Challenge #45 which was to use any sentiment and to use scraps on your card.  Paulette from Create With TLC generously provided a great sentiment as a freebie on the challenge blog that could be used for the challenge, if desired.  As soon as I saw the sentiment, I knew exactly what image I wanted to use with it!

Here is my card for the challenge:

Except for the card base, all of my cardstock (GKD Bubblegum Pink and SU Certainly Celery) and patterned paper (K & Co. Madeline) came from my scrap bag.  I even had the image printed out and in my "to be colored someday" pile. I thought this adorable image from Mo's Digital Pencil worked perfectly with Paulette's sentiment.  She is called Diva and she can be found in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with Copics.  I added some Polar White Flower Soft to her feather boa and some Stickles and Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen accents to her jewelry and shoes.  I picked up the sentiment from the Aud Sentiments challenge, but it is also available as part of a word art set in the Create With TLC store here.    OK, that's it for me today!

Thanks for stopping by again!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Copic/Promarker Challenge -The Outlawz (and more)

Good morning!  Yay!  It's Friday!  It's been a busy week and I'm ready for a little down time over the long weekend!  Can't believe it's only one day before New Year's Eve!  Where on earth did this year go???  I guess time flies when you are having fun - lol!!  Anyway, I'm popping in to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  As usual, our theme for the last week of the month is "anything goes", but we've got something extra to share with you for the new year so you'll definitely want to go over and check out the new challenge thread!

Here is my card for the challenge:

My card is also for a few other challenges I like to do: Craft Your Passion Challenge #90 (Sketch), Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge #8 (Celebrate), Crafty Emma's Store Challenge #66 (Party, Party, Party) and Aud Sentiments Challenge #44 (Anything Goes).  I am also entering my card for the Create With TLC DT call posted here

Here is the CYP sketch:

I started with a card base of SU Island Indigo and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose Hazel 6x6 pad.  I used three dies from Cheery Lynn (Border Carnivale, Polynesian Sails Oval and Fanciful Flourish), all cut from Island Indigo.  My fun image is Party Girl from Mo's Digital Pencil.  She can be found in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with Copics.  I added a bunch of Stickles to her jewelry and shoes for some sparkle.  I also added Glossy Accents to the wine glass.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  It was offered as a freebie on the Aud Sentiments Challenge blog.  A paper flower from my stash finished off my birthday celebration card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the fabulous creations from my DT sistahs and our wonderful December GD, Shelby.  We hope you'll be inspired to play along with us this week!  There are lots of great prizes up for grabs!

If I don't make it back before the weekend, Happy New Year to all my blog visitors and followers!  I can't tell you how much your kind words and encouragement have meant to me over the past year!  Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and inspired 2012!

Another Christmas Card

Hi there!  Hope your week has been going well!  Despite still being down for the count with this cold, I managed to eek out one more Christmas card for my stash.  A few more and I should be done!  Then it will just be getting them in the mail!   I used a few challenges I like to inspire me since my mojo is on holiday already - lol!  My card is for the December Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) on Jen Del Muro's blog (more about that later).  It is also for this week's challenge on Joan's Gardens' blog (anything goes - show your Christmas cards), Digital Tuesday Challenge #140 (use lights or candles) and the new Aud Sentiments Challenge #43 (any winter holiday sentiment - 2 entries if you use the one generously provided by Paulette at Create With TLC).  Phew!

Here is the December SFYTT:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of GKD Cranberry Tart and layered with patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas 6x6 pad.  I cut a doily from Cryogen White (gasp) using the Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily die.  I cut a flourish from SU Brushed Gold with the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die.  I got both of these from Joan's Gardens' store.  I merged two wonderful Mo Manning images - Ragged Angel and and the lamp post from the Ragged Carollers set.  Both images can be found in Mo's store here.  I printed the merged image on Cryogen White and colored with Copic markers.  I added some Polar White Flower Soft for the snow.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  It is available as part of the Shiny & Bright set in her store here or right now it is being offered as a freebie to use in the Aud Sentiments challenge.  I finished off my card with a big double-loop bow of May Arts silk ribbon.

So I said that I would have more to say about the SFYTT.  Sorry to be so long-winded.  You can quit now if you are not interested in this part.  Jen changed the format this year to one sketch a month with a big prize drawing for a lucky person who participated in all 12 challenges.  We are supposed to link our previous 11 cards here.  I'm going to to do it even though I know I unfortunately won't be eligible for the prize.  I did do all the challenges but somehow, when my computer crashed this summer, it appears that I never went back and re-blogged my August challenge card.  Oh well.  It was still fun to do them all and I will definitely try to get it right next year.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back tomorrow with my DT card for the Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site and more.

Card For a Few Challenges

Hello!  I can't believe it's the end of the weekend already!  Where did the time go?  I hoped to have all my Christmas cards done by today, but it was not to be.  I've come down with a bit of a bug and didn't feel that great today.  Nevertheless, at least I got one more card done.   My card is for three challenges I like to do - Sketch Saturday #184, Just Magnolia Challenge (anything goes with an option of adding sparkle) and the Aud Sentiments Challenge #42 (holiday sentiment).

Here is the Sketch Saturday Challenge:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of GKD Cranberry Tart and layered with patterned papers from the Fancy Pants Christmas Magic collection.  My Magnolia image is Tilda Hanging Ornaments.  She was stamped on Cryogen White with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics.  I added some Baby Blue, Lime Green, Burgundy and Silver Stickles  to the colored image for my added "sparkle".  For the Aud Sentiments Challenge, I used the Christmas sentiment generously provided by Paulette at Create With TLC.   My scalloped border was created with Spellbinders Floral Doily Accents die.  A stitched satin bow, some adhesive pearls and a Prima Say It With Studs sticker finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm going to turn in early and try to kick this bug.  I have no time for it this week!
Hope to see you soon!
