Hi there! I know, I know - lol! I was sure I was done, then I remembered another card I needed to take with a gift to an appointment this weekend, so I ran into my craft room and made yet another. I called upon a couple of challenges I didn't get to yet for my design. First, it is for the
Monthly Contest over at
The Stamping Boutique Challenge Blog (winter or holiday). It is also for this week's
Just Us Girls Challenge #115 (a color challenge) and this week's challenge in
The Play Date Cafe #112. It was perfect because the JUGS challenge and the PDCC challenge were to use nearly the same colors.
Here is the JUGS Inspiration:
And here is the PDCC Color Story:
Here is my card for the challenges:
I started with a card base of GKD Lipstick Red and layered with patterned paper from the K & Co. Glad Tidings Die Cut Mat pad. The colors were perfect! My image is a digi from
The Stamping Boutique called
Sledding Snowman. I won this image during a blog hop a couple of months ago. I printed it on Cryogen White and colored with Copics. I added Glossy Accents to the Christmas lights around the border and some Stickles here and there for some sparkle. The sentiment is from Paulette at
Create With TLC. It was a freebie awhile back - not sure if it's in
the store now. I also colored it with Copics and added some Ice Glitter to the snowman's cap and some Stickles to the snowflakes. I didn't add any extra embellishments - I thought there was enough going on with the cute images and the DP.
Many thanks for stopping by and checking out yet another Christmas card. I'll be back tomorrow with my DT card for Friday's Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz and that will be about it for me until after Christmas.
