That's How I Roll

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope your day and week are off to a great start!  It's cold and rainy here.  A perfect day to stay in and craft, if only I could!  Before I head out into the mess, I'm popping in to share a card I made just for fun.  It happens to fit a few challenges I like to do, too.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey What's Up 6x6 pad.  My fun image is California Rolls from MayzyArt.  You can find her in Mayzy's shop here.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles to her hair ties, belt and jewelry for some sparkle.  I also added Glossy Accents to the face of her watch.  The cute sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Let's Do Sushi word art set in Paulette's store here.   Three Basic Grey Bling It gems and a purple double-loop ribbon bow finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  If I haven't visited you already, I'll be by later this afternoon when I get home.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
MayzyArt Challenge #008 (anything goes)
Sweet Sketch Wednesday #188 (sketch)
Eclectic Ellapu (recipe: 1 diecut, 2 papers, 3 embellies and a dash of ribbon)
The Squirrel and The Fox #35 (anything goes)
Basic Grey Challenge #85 (new beginnings or use something new - my image and sentiment are both new)

Here is SSW-188:

Have a great day!

Little Miss Muffet - New Challenge

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  As always, it's very early Thursday for me, but it's time to share my DT post for the Little Miss Muffet blog.  We have a new challenge starting today and the theme is "Christmas".  If you are like me and still trying to finish your Christmas cards, then this is the challenge for you!

Here is my Christmas creation:

My card base and mats are SU Gumball Green and the bright patterned papers are from the Recollections Bright Christmas 6x6 pad.   I followed the fun sketch from The Corrosive Challenge blog, not realizing it was supposed to be for a design team call.  It's still a great sketch and I was challenged with all the diagonal panels!  Anyway, my cute image is Sonny Honeycloud For You from the Honeycloud Teens line from Pollycraft.  You can find her in the Little Miss Muffet store.  This was one of the new rubber stamps released last week, but I used a digi version for my card.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Aqua Stickles to the gift and tag and the tabs on her boots.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is another from the recent Winter Club.  A few dimensional ornament stickers finished my holiday card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I really appreciate your visits especially during this busy time!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog and check out the fabulous card my teammates and out wonderful guests, Lucy and Chris, made for your inspiration! We hope you can find time to play along! You have until Monday, December 24th to enter your project.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Oozak Challenge #9 (anything goes with red)
Forever Friends Fortnighly #51 (Christmas cards)

Divas by Design #65 (use red)

Elisabeth Bell's World November/December Challenge

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you've had a good weekend so far!  It's finally gotten chilly here, but the sun is still shining, so I can't complain.  Before I head out for the day, I am popping by to share my GDT card for the new monthly challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World.  The theme for November/December is "a different folding".  I chose to make a center step card for my different folding project.  It is simple to do but looks very special, at least to me.  And the great thing is it still fits in the standard envelopes I use for my regular square cards.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Cranberry Tart and the patterned papers are from the K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Visions of Christmas 12x12 pad.  The adorable image is Belles 'n Whistles The Christmas Door from Elisabeth Bell.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Colour Blending Card and colored with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles to the ornaments on the tree and wreath, the poinsettia and her little petticoat.  Over the glitter on the ornaments, I added Glossy Accents to give them even more dimension.  I went over a few of the other details with Spica pens for a subtle shimmer.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was part of Paulette's recent, and I must say fantastic, Winter Club.  Several adhesive pearls and a large silk bow finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Be sure to visit Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge and feast your eyes on the gorgeous creations from The Digi Bells DT and GDT!  You have until December 22  6 PM Arizona Time to join in on the challenge using any Elisabeth Bell image.  Hope you'll play along!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
One Stop Craft Challenge #206 (vintage Christmas)
Addicted-To-Stamps #44 (Christmastime)
Eclectic Ellapu #7 (celebrate with sparkle)
Crazy4Challenges #164 (put a bow on it)
