Garden Fairy and Exciting News!

Hi there!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  This is a prescheduled post because I am enjoying time with my BFF who is visiting from Michigan this week, so I hope you see it on time.  I have some exciting news to share!  I was invited to be a Guest Designer for the Crafty Little Fairies Challenge for the next two months!  I am thrilled because I always enjoy playing along with their challenges!  Have you heard they are going to a monthly challenge?  Check out all the details on the Crafty Little Fairies blog.  The theme for May is "in the garden".  Perfect for this time of year!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are from my stash and the patterned paper is from the Best Creations Inc. A Walk in the Garden 6x6 pad.  The super cute image is On TipToe by Lili of the Valley.  I stamped it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added in the clouds and sky and grass with my Copics, too.  A pretty doily and a few Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out the gorgeous projects from the Crafty Little Fairies DT!  I'm sure they would love you to play along with the challenge!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge (sketch with a twist: something old and new; old patterned paper, new image; never used)
Addicted to Stamps Challenge #81 (things with wings)
The Cutie Pie Challenge #68 (April showers bring May flowers)
Loves Rubberstamps Challenge #101 (photo inspiration)

Little Miss Mufft Challenge #83 - Distressing

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope your week is going well!  I can't believe it's already Thursday again!  Since it is, it is time for my weekly Little Miss Muffet DT post.  This week we have a brand new challenge for you!  The theme is "distressing".  We hope the theme isn't distressing to you, but we'd like to see distressing on your creation!

Here is mine:

My card base and mats are SU Buckaroo Blue and the patterned paper is from the Prima En Francaise 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Le Parfum Des Roses from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  She is only available for a limited time so you'll want to grab her before she's gone.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a touch of Liquid Pearls to the string on her fan.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I roughed up the edges and added three pearls from my stash and called it done.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the distressed creations from the rest of the Little Misses as well as our Guest Designer for April, Samantha, and our guest for the challenge, Mirella!.  Our Facebook team will also be sharing their gorgeous projects here.  You have until Tuesday, April 29th at 11:55 PM CDT to enter the challenge!  We hope you will play along!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Incy Wincy Challenge (3-2-1 Recipe; I used 3 pearls, 2 patterned papers and 1 stamp)
Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #5 (pick a stamp...any stamp)
Creative Moments Challenge #40 (anything goes/girly)

Have a wonderful day  and see you soon!

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend ahead!  Time is certainly zipping by these days!  Anyway, I am here today with my weekly DT post for the Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz.  Since it's the last Friday of the month, the theme is "anything goes" with the option to add a Christmas twist.    The only requirement is that you have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is mine with the Christmas/Winter twist:

My card base and mats are SU Not Quite Navy and the patterned papers are from the Authentique Winter 6x6 pad.  The cute image is Winter Cocoa from Sami Stamps, our sponsor this month.  Samantha generously provided the DT with an image to use and this is the one I chose.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added glitter to the trim on her hood and mittens and used some Shabby White Fran-Tage around the edges of the image for even more sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A taffeta bow and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from my teammies, Dawn, Linda and Penny!  We hope you will play along this week!  It's your last chance to get in the running for an awesome prize from Sami Stamps.  Samantha is offering a $12 GC to purchase digis from her shop.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp #195 (sketch)
Sami Stamps Challenge #010 (a touch of glitter)
Party Time Tuesdays #161 (anything goes)
Divas by Design (make it sparkle)
Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #2 (photo inspiration and use a hoarded item (patterned paper!))
Stampin' For The Weekend (sparkle and shine)
