Little Miss Muffet - Sunday Spotlight

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  I sure hope Mr. Blogger cooperates and posts my card this morning for the Little Miss Muffet Sunday Spotlight!  This week's spotlight is the Cozy Cafe rubber stamp set from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  This set has all the elements for a cute cafe setting and you can get it today for a reduced price in the Little Miss Muffet Stamp store.

Here is my card with Cozy Cafe:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the pretty patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Kate & Co. Cambridge Court 6x6 pad.  I used digi versions from the Cozy Cafe set, but you can also create your scenes with the rubber stamps and masking.  I merged the digis to create my scene, then printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored it all with my Copics.  I added some Diamond Stickles to the tablecloth, Glossy Accents to the pitcher and glass, and Liquid Pearls to the dollop of frosting on the cake slice.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some pink gingham ribbon and a few yellow gems from my stash finished my card.

Good morning!  Happy (early) Sunday!  Hope you've had a good weekend so far and you have enjoyable plans for the rest of the day!  We've had wonderful weather here this weekend!  It's been warm, but not as humid as usual for this time of year.  I am hopefully still sleeping right now, but I am here to share the card I made for our second Sunday Spotlight feature on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog.  Barbara has selected "Puppy Additions" for this week's spotlight stamp.  These little guys are just too cute!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the October Afternoon Sidewalks 8x8 pad.  I used both puppies from the Puppy Additions set and I paired them with the adorable, My Ride from Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored them all with my Copics and I added a cloudy sky and some grass to the background.  There is a bit of Glossy Accents on his glasses.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some yellow gingham ribbon and a polka-dot flower finished my card.

Flower Power

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a terrific start!  The weather here has been ugly for days - rainy, chilly and windy!  Looking forward to that nice Spring weather we were having earlier last week!  I managed to visit my craft room a couple of times over the weekend and I now have a card to share that is for a few challenges I like to do.  A lot of them had a similar theme - "lots of flowers" - so that worked out well.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the pretty pastel patterned papers are from the Authentique Spring 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Merry Weather from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a soft cloudy sky and some grass again for my Spring scene.  She is framed with a Spelbbinders Decorative Labels One diecut.  I added some lace and a triple-loop satin bow with a silver charm (thanks, June!).  A bunch of flowers (mostly Wild Orchid Crafts) and a spray of pearls (thanks, Lori!) finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I promise to try and visit later this evening after Dancing With The Stars!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Elisabeth Bell's World April/May Challenge (April showers bring May flowers)

Good morning!  Happy Monday and Tax Day!  Today is a special day for another reason!  Today we celebrate the birthday girl, Paulette, of Create with TLC!  The design team got together and all made cards for Paulette using one her wonderful vintage images!  Her sneaky daughter, Bri, agreed to post them all on the Create With TLC blog as a birthday surprise for Paulette!  Happy Birthday, Paulette!  Hope you enjoyed your surprise!  May your day and year be filled with love and happiness!  Thank you for everything!

Here is my birthday card:

The card base and mats are SU Marina Mist and the papers are from the Kaisercraft Miss Nelly 6.5x6.5 pad.  The image and sentiment are both from Create With TLC.  The image is colored with Copics.  A triple-loop bow of Marina Mist taffeta and another mulberry paper rose from my Jacque's Sunday Sweet Stuff stash finished my card.

Little Miss Muffet Inspiration

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a great week so far!  The weather has been gorgeous here - sunny and super warm!  We seem to have moved right to Summer and bypassed Spring altogether, except for the yucky yellow pine pollen!  It is so thick this year.  I'll be glad when it is gone so we can be outside again without getting covered!

As always on Thursdays, I am here to share my DT creation for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  This week, we are still working with the fabulous new tea party release from last week.   Wasn't the three-day release party with Simply B Stamps fun?  I hope you had a chance to check out all the amazing projects and play along with the games!

Here is my card for today:

My card base and mats are SU Island Indigo and the patterned papers are from my stash of October Afternoon pads.  I think these came from the Cakewalk and Woodland Park 8x8 pads.  I created my focal image by merging a bunch of images from the Cozy Cafe Combo and adding Gertrude Lena Hatter to the scene.  I printed the merged image on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles to her hat, dress and shoes and also to the flower centers.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Otherwise, I kept the design very simple to let the scene take center stage.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to head over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful Guest Designer, Petra!  Don't forget, you still have until next Tuesday, April 16, to enter our current "Anything Goes" challenge.

Bed of Roses

Hi there!  Happy Saturday!  I rarely post over the weekend, but I had a card I wanted to share tonight, so I'm going for it.  My card showcases a beautiful new set in Paulette's Create With TLC store that I am sure you are going to love.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Fresh Asparagus and the patterned papers are from the Kaisercraft The Lake House 6.5x6.5 paper pad.  My main image is from the Love is Like a Rose Garden set from Create With TLC.  You can find it in Paulette's store here.  I printed it twice on Copic X-Press It blending card and colored both with my Copics. I cut out the full image and then the rose only with my Cameo. I also cut out a backing mat of Fresh Asparagus with the Cameo using the same trace. I layered everything with foam tape and added it to the card.  The sentiment is from another Create With TLC set called The Rose.  I think the two sets work perfectly together.  A few pink pearls finished my card.

I am entering my card in the One Stop Craft Challenge #216 sketch challenge.  Here is the sketch:

I Love You

Hi again!  Hope you're having a good day! I'm back with my second post of the day and I have to make it quick because I don't want to miss the deadline for one of the challenges I'd like to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Picadilly 12x12 paper collection.  My sweet image is Hugs and Kisses from Saturated Canary.  Krista generously offered her as a freebie on her blog recently.  I don't think she is in the store right now.   I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some white polka dots to the patch on her skirt and one of the hearts in the box.  I added a bit of sparkle to the lace trim on the hearts with Diamond Stickles.  I cut her out with my Cameo and popped her up on foam tape.  The image frame is a heart doily from Saskia.  I found the cut file on one of the online Silhouette forums (Silhouette Plus, I think).  It is cut out of Cherry Cobbler with the Cameo.  The sentiment "label" is from Create With TLC.  Paulette generously shared it as a freebie this past week. I think it's so fun! A bit of white lace, three roses from my stash and a few adhesive pearls finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I am always grateful for your visits.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Saturated Canary #37 (love)
Loves Rubberstamps Challenge #39 (all about love)

Cute Card Thursday #256 (an "eye" for detail; I used an image with big eyes)

Little Miss Muffet Challenge

Good morning!  Happy early Thursday!  Sorry I've been MIA, but I've had a few things going on in my world and I haven't had much time to visit my craft room.  I hope to make up for it this weekend!  Anyway, I'm here now with my Little Miss Muffet DT post.   We have a new challenge starting this week.  This time it is a sketch challenge.  What better way to kick start your mojo than with a fun sketch?

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on it:

My card base and mats are GKD Lipstick Red and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Spencer's Bucket Full of Love from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He is available as a rubber stamp, but I used a digi version.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added lots of Red Stickles to the hearts for some extra sparkle.  I cut him out with my Cameo and popped him up on foam tape.  The "Love" sentiment is from the Silhouette store and it was cut out of red glitter paper. I finished my card with two layered paper rosettes from K & Co.

Here is a close-up of Spencer:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful guest designer for February, Shelly!  We sure hope you will play along with us!  You have until Tuesday, February 19 to enter.  If you use either a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft stamp, you can enter with "anything goes" as your theme and you can enter as many times as you'd like.  Otherwise, please follow the theme and enter only once.

Elisabeth Bell's World November/December Challenge

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you've had a good weekend so far!  It's finally gotten chilly here, but the sun is still shining, so I can't complain.  Before I head out for the day, I am popping by to share my GDT card for the new monthly challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World.  The theme for November/December is "a different folding".  I chose to make a center step card for my different folding project.  It is simple to do but looks very special, at least to me.  And the great thing is it still fits in the standard envelopes I use for my regular square cards.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Cranberry Tart and the patterned papers are from the K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Visions of Christmas 12x12 pad.  The adorable image is Belles 'n Whistles The Christmas Door from Elisabeth Bell.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Colour Blending Card and colored with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles to the ornaments on the tree and wreath, the poinsettia and her little petticoat.  Over the glitter on the ornaments, I added Glossy Accents to give them even more dimension.  I went over a few of the other details with Spica pens for a subtle shimmer.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was part of Paulette's recent, and I must say fantastic, Winter Club.  Several adhesive pearls and a large silk bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Be sure to visit Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge and feast your eyes on the gorgeous creations from The Digi Bells DT and GDT!  You have until December 22  6 PM Arizona Time to join in on the challenge using any Elisabeth Bell image.  Hope you'll play along!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
One Stop Craft Challenge #206 (vintage Christmas)
Addicted-To-Stamps #44 (Christmastime)
Eclectic Ellapu #7 (celebrate with sparkle)
Crazy4Challenges #164 (put a bow on it)

Have a wonderful day and I'll try to stop by your blogs as soon as I am back home later today!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Textiles

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week!  Sorry I've been MIA again, but I have a family member who's been ill and there has not been any extra time for crafting or blogging.  Still, I couldn't miss my DT post for the new Little Miss Muffet Challenge! Yes, we have a new challenge starting this week and the theme is "textiles" - use fabric, lace, yarn, etc. on your creation.  There are so many possibilities for this one!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Blue Bayou and the patterned paper is from the K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Christmas 12x12 pad.  I love that these papers can create a scene all on their own.  For my textiles, I cut and stitched a scrap of white felt over the snow in the scene to add dimension.  The cute winter image is Saffron from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  She was a freebie last year and I think she was my first LMM stamp!  I fell in love with all of the cute images at LMM and the rest is history!  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Stardust and Gun Metal Stickles to her skirt and coat buttons, White Opal Liquid Pearls to the pom poms on her scarf, and some white glitter to her hat brim and muff.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Enjoy The Snow set in Paulette's store here.  A few Jolee's sparkly snowflake stickers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Saffron:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the awesome creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer for the challenge, Shari!  You have until Tuesday, November 27 to enter the challenge.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp, you can enter with "anything goes" as your theme.  We hope you will play along!

Inspired by Water

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  It's been a crazy week and even today, I've gotten off to a bit of a late start.  I am finally here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "inspired by the elements".  We want to see you project inspired by earth, water, fire or air.  Otherwise, the only requirement is to have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

I was inspired by water.  My card base and mat are SU Pool Party and the patterned paper is from the Kaisercraft Devonshire 6x6 pad.  For the underwater background, I used the Sandy Sea Floor digistamp from Make it Crafty.  I printed it on Neenah Solar White and colored it using the Copic background coloring technique that Shelby shared on her blog this week.   I used Colorless Blender and my E31 refill for the sand and BG0000 refill for the sea.  It's hard to see, but I made some rays of light coming through the sea with Colorless Blender.  All the other elements were colored as usual with Copic markers.  I added White Opal Liquid Pearls and Crystal Stickles to the bubbles.  My fun image is Mermaid from Kenny K.  You can find her in the on-line store here.  I printed her on Neenah and colored her with my Copics.  I used the Glistening Scales technique that Franz shared on the Make it Crafty Store Inspiration Blog.   Briefly, after coloring with Copics, I painted the tail with African Jade Twinkling H2Os, then added lots of Crystal Stickles to the scales.    A bit more Stickles on the shells and fish finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the mermaid:

I am also entering my card in the Oozak Challenge #6 (sparkle), One Stop Craft Challenge #99 (no floral embellishments) and Whimsy Stamps Challenge #51 (anything goes).

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the amazing projects from the rest of the DT and our wonderful Guest Designer for September, NanaConnie! We hope you will play along this week!  Our September challenges are being generously sponsored by Kenny K.  One lucky participant in this month's challenges will win 5 Kenny K. digis of their choice!

In addition, there are are always fantastic prizes up for grabs each month when you enter any of the challenges at The Outlawz, so head on over and join in on the fun!

Have a great day and a great weekend and I hope to see you again soon!

Go Team USA

Good afternoon!  Happy Wednesday!  We're halfway to the weekend again!  How did that happen?  Not that it's not a good thing - lol!  Just amazed at how the time flies by!  I'm popping in really quickly to share a card I made for a couple of challenges.  It is for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #195 (Olympics/sports), the One Stop Craft Challenge #192 (Olympics/sports) and Seems A Little Sketchy #18 (sketch).

Here is SALS #18:

Here is my card:

I used SU Night of Navy cardstock and layered with patterned papers from October Afternoon.  I'm not sure which 8x8 pads, because the pieces were in my scrap bag.  My cute image is Soccer/Football from MayzyArt.  You can find her in Mayzy's Etsy shop here.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with my Copics.  I went online and had a look at the Team USA Women's Soccer uniforms for the Olympics and tried to color as closely as possible to that.    The simple sentiment was done with a sticky alpha set from my stash.    I finished the card with a couple of pieces of navy stitched ribbon.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope things will stay quiet so I can get around to visit your blogs tonight!

Have a good one!
