Friday Coloring Challenge and Exciting News

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend! On Sunday, I will be watching the NE Patriots hopefully win the Super Bowl! It should be an exciting game!  Anyway, I am here now with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "anything goes" with an option to add a Christmas twist.   I also have exciting news!  I was invited to be a Guest Designer for the new challenge in the Art by MiRan FB group!  The new challenge starts today and the theme is also "anything goes"!  Many thanks to the team for inviting me!

Here is my card for the challenges:

My card base and mats are SU Blush Blossom and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Market Street 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Lillian from Art by MiRan, of course.  I colored in soft colors with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some pearls, lace and a few Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Art by Mi Ran - Guest Designer

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Can't believe it's the last weekend before Christmas!  I don't even want to think about what needs to be done before then, so I will just push on with my post for today!  I am here with my second Guest Designer post for the Art by Mi Ran Showcase blog.  I have so enjoyed my GD stint this month! We are still following along with the "snowflakes" theme and here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry cobbler and the patterned papers are from the My Minds Eye Vintage Christmas 6x6 pad.  The cute image is Winter Coloring Page, Big-Eyed Girl from Art by Mi Ran.  I colored her with my Copics, then added a bit of glitter to the pom poms and the snowflakes on her scarf.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A couple of Memory Box Snowflake Corner die cuts and a large Cheery Lynn snowflake with a gem finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I will be taking a little break over the next few days to get ready for Christmas and just enjoy a little down time.  I will be back with a few new creations next week!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Guest Designer - Art by Mi Ran Blog

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Actually I am still sleeping right now (I hope), but I am here with a card and some exciting news!  First the news!  I was invited to be a Guest Designer for the Art by Mi Ran Showcase blog for the month of December!  Woo hoo!  I am thrilled and honored, of course!  Today, I get to share my first project for the month.  I hope you like it!

I created a multi-layered snowflake-shaped card using my Cameo.  The patterned paper is from one of my Christmas mat stacks.  I love the swirling snow and subtle foil elements on it.  The beautiful image is Princess of Snowflakes from Art by Mi Ran.  I colored her with my Copics then added lots of Star Dust and Icicle Stickles to make the image really sparkle! I also added some regular glitter to her collar. I cut out the image with a Spellbinders Lacey Ovals die.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added two Memory Box Snowflake Corner die cuts and some pretty white lace to finish my card.
