Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I'm back with a second late post to share my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme for this first challenge in August is "Friendship", in honor of National Friendship Day, which is on Sunday.  We want to see something friendship-oriented and you can now use any coloring medium you'd like.  Please remember that you must still have a colored image on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Rich Razzleberry and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist "Happy Go Lucky" 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is There For You from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart.  Sharon generously shared it as a Friday Freebie here.  The rest of the sentiment, which is on the inside, reads "that's because the best is already mine".  A dotted bow and a few flowers from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the beautiful creations from my teammies, Dawn, Penny and Kathi!  We hope you will join us for the challenge this week!  For the month of August, we are sponsored by Bombshell Stamps.  They are offering the winner one digi set of their choice.  Bombshell Stamps has fantastic vintage and retro designs with attitude!  Be sure to check them out!

Guest Designer - The Sketchy Challenges #76

Hi again!  I'm back, as promised, with a special post for today.  I'm excited to tell you that I was invited to be the guest designer for this month's challenge at The Sketchy Challenges!  Of course, I said yes!  The Sketchy Challenges have gone monthly from now until September and there is also a theme and a twist: to use the sketch or not..  The theme this time is "Christmas".  I always love a chance to add to my Christmas card stash!

Here is the sketch (to use or not):

And here is my Christmas card using it:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from a couple of Christmas pads in my stash.  Sorry, I don't really know which ones.  The gorgeous image is Scarlett Holly by ching chou kuik from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics then added a bit of Shabby White Fran-Tage to the corners.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A dimensional poinsettia sticker and a few pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by again and thanks to everyone at The Sketchy Challenges for having me as a GD! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend! See you soon!

Under the Sea

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Did you think I'd disappeared again?  I did, kind of.  I ran out of all the cards I'd made before my surgery and haven't been able to sit very long to make more.  I did manage to put a card together to share today.  It's for a few challenges I like doing, one that was ending today.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are all from the Webster's Pages Seaside Retreat Petite Papers pack.  The gorgeous image is Marina from Delicious Doodles.  It is also available in rubber and as a digi from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed the digi on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles (Aqua, Turquoise, Purple, Yellow and Red) and some Ice White Pearl pen accents. I machine-stitched two zig zags down the left panel.  A few Wild Orchid Crafts Cherry Blossoms, a simple bow and a metal fish charm finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  If I can stand a little more sitting later, I'll pop on by to visit.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 #17 (sketch)
Delicious Doodles #92 (stitch it)
Creative Fingers Challenge #39 (anything goes)
The Squirrel and the Fox Challenge #72 (use something metal)

However, as always on Thursdays, I am here with my Little Miss Muffet DT post.  We have another inspiration post for you today.  We've all selected some of our favorite LMM stamps to work with and hopefully you will enjoy our creations!
