You Are So "Boo"-tiful

Hi there!  Happy Saturday!  Hope you are having a good weekend so far!  It's been another busy day, but I managed to sit down and finish a card I had in the works on my desk.  It is for Jackson's Digital Expressions #26 (sketch and Halloween), Polka Doodles #41 (Halloween), The Poodles Parlour (Halloween), Challenge Up Your Life #80 (Halloween/Autumn) and Simon Says Stamp (dies or punches).

Here is the JDE sketch:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the fun Halloween papers are from the K & Co. Kelly Panacci Halloween 12x12 pad.  I punched the picket pence with my Martha Stewart punch and the grass with my Fiskars Grass punch. The big yellow moon was cut with Spellbinders Grand Circle Nestabilities.  My cute image is Felicia Witch with Pumpkin from Guylou's Inimitability. You get three images with this set.  I used the one with the Jack O' Lantern.  I printed her on Neenah Solar White and colored her with my Copics.  I added Orange, Purple, Lime Green and Yellow Stickles to her wings and I used a Letraset Silver Metallic marker for the buckle on her hat.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Beware Halloween set in Paulette's store here.  A few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Felicia:

Never Give Up

Hi again!  I'm back with a quick post to share the card I made for a couple of challenges I like to do.  It is for Saturated Canary Challenge #27 (use office supplies), Sweet Sketch Wednesday #173 (sketch and celebrate women theme) and another for Jackson's Digital Expressions #24 (pink or breast cancer awareness).  Don't forget that Chana and a few other of the JDE DT members are donating $0.25 to breast cancer research for every entry in the challenge.  It's so generous of them to support this worthy cause!

Here is SSW-173:

Here is my card for the challenges:

My card base and mats are SU Purely Pomegranate and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Blush 6x6 pad.  The great image is Boobie Love from Saturated Canary.  Krista generously shared it as a freebie back in March.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles to the trim on her pants and tee shirt and the rose in her hair.  I added a touch of Glossy Accents to her lips.  The sentiment is from the Help For Katie 2 fund-raising collection from last year. I colored the pink ribbon with Copics and added Cotton Candy Stickles to it.  A couple of pink paper clips and a pink BCA ribbon charm finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of your evening and be sure to drop by tomorrow for the Create With TLC Blog Hop!  There will be lots of beautiful creations and freebies at every stop along the way!

Courage

Hi again!  This is my second post today so if you are looking for my Heartfelt Creations Design Team Alumni Blog Hop card, please click here or scroll down one post.  I'm back to share a card I made for a couple challenges.  It is for Challenge #24 at Jackson's Digital Expressions (pink or breast cancer awareness) and Papertake Weekly Challenge (use Sketch 72 or another PTW sketch).  Chana and some of the other DT members at Jackson's Digital Expressions are each going to donate $0.25 toward breast cancer research for every entry in the challenge!  I know they'd like to see as many entries as possible.  In addition, Lesia, another of the JDE DT members, plans to donate $10.00 for every 40 entries in the October challenges on her blog, Mema's Crafts.  You can find the details there.

Here is Sketch 72 from Papertake Weekly:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pink Pirouette.  I layered the sketch panels with patterned papers from the Authentique Delightful and Echo Park Victoria Garden 6x6 pads.  I made my image panel oval instead of square. My breast cancer awareness image is Gabrielle with Ribbon from Guylou's Inimitability.  You can find her in Guylou's store here.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card (yay, it finally arrived) and colored her with my Copics.  I added both Stickles and regular glitter to the ribbon and her wings for a little extra sparkle and texture.   Her wings really look fluffy in real life.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Believe Hope set in Paulette's store here.  A triple-loop satin bow and a few iridescent pink gems finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Gabrielle:

The Journey

Hi again!  I've been running around all day, but I decided to take a breather and pop back to post the card I made for this week's challenge at Jackson' Digital Expressions.  The theme is always "anything goes", but the twist this week is to make a CAS card.

Here is my CAS design:

It doesn't get much more CAS for me!  The chic image is The Traveler from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  It can be found in the Females Section of Robert's store here.  I printed her right onto my card base and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Aqua Stickles to her shoes, handbag and earrings and some Glossy Accents to her sunglasses.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I thought it was perfect for this image.

Well, that's it for me.  Quickest post ever for me, wouldn't you agree?

Thanks for stopping by again!  Have a great night and hope to see you soon!

Diva

Hi there!  Are you having a good Wednesday?  Only two days until the weekend - gotta love that!  We are so fortunate to not have had any real effects of Isaac here.  We haven't had any of the wind and rain that was expected.  I am very grateful for that.  Hope everyone who is in the path of the storm is staying safe.

I am popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do.  It is for Jackson's Digital Expressions #20 (anything goes with an optional sketch), Craft Your Passion #125 (emboss it), Through The Craftroom Door Challenge #33 (diva or anything goes) and Tuesday Throwdown #113 (bold or rarely used colors).

Here is the JDE sketch, which I did use:

Here is my card:

I used SU Brilliant Blue cardstock for my base and mats.  Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a big fan of bright, bold colors and I rarely use them.  And look, NO patterned paper!  I actually can't remember the last time I made a card with no PP!  Instead, I embossed two panels of white cardstock, one with the Cuttlebug Kassie's Brocade folder and the other with a Sizzix folder called Damask.  My elegant image is Diva from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  You can find it in the Females section of Robert's store here.  I printed her on X-Press It and colored her with my Copics (dress: B28, B26, B24, B21) I added Star Dust Stickles to her wrap to make it sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC. It is part of the Glitter and Glam Digi Stamp set in Paulette's store here.  A double-loop satin bow and a Webster's Pages Sparkler finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of your day and hope to see you soon!Photobucket

Vacation

Hi again!  I'm back with another card I created for this week's challenge at Jackson's Digital Expressions.  The theme is anything goes and the optional twist is to use "inks and such".  My card is also for Friday Sketch Challenge #24.  I'm slowly making my way through the projects I wanted to do!

Here is FS-24:

Here is my card:

I used SU Soft Sky cardstock and layered with patterned papers from the Webster's Pages In Love/Palm Beach/Game On Petite Papers pack.  My fun image is Vacation Time from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  You can find her in the Females section of Robert's store here.  I printed her on X-Press It and colored her with my Copics.  I sponged a few clouds in the background.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A double-loop bow of Pear Pizzazz seam binding finished my card.

Here is a close-up:

Smart Business Woman

Hi there!  Hope you're having a good weekend so far!  We've been busy all day, but I took a break to finish up a card I was making for this week's Jackson's Digital Expressions Challenge (anything goes - brads or eyelets optional).

Here is my card:

I used GKD Smoky Slate cardstock and layered my simple sketch panels with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Nutmeg 6x6 pad.  My image is Business Woman from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  You can find it in the Females section of Robert's store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It and colored with my Copics.  I used a Silver Letraset Metallic Marker to add shiny silver to her buttons, earrings and the buckles on her briefcase.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Embrace Your Crazy set that you can find in Paulette's store here.  I added three aqua rhinestone and silver brads to finish my card.  I can't remember the last time I used a brad!  I didn't add any other embellishments because I wanted to keep the design sharp and clean like the image.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to get some time tonight to visit your blogs!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Have You Heard?

Hi there!  How was your weekend?  Ours was busy, but fine.  We were supposed to get a lot of thunderstorms, but so far, we only had a couple of brief ones and very little rain, so that was good.  I'm popping in to share the card I made for the Jackson's Digital Expressions Challenge #16 - anything goes with an optional sketch.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of Papertrey Ocean Tides and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Saffron 6x6 pad.  My image is I Ain't One To Gossip 2 from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson. You can fin it in the Females section of Robert's store here.  I printed it on Copic X-Press It and colored with my Copics.  I added a bit of Liquid Pearls to the necklace.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A few Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Diva

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your day has started off great!  We had some thunderstorms yesterday and I think we can expect some more rain today.  It's keeping the temperatures down and giving our poor grass a drink, so it's all OK.  Before I move on with the day, I'm popping in to share the card I made for the Jackson's Digital Expressions July Release challenges.  Challenge #14 this week is anything goes with the twist to use a coloring medium.  My card also fit the first July release challenge (#11), which was to feature any flowers except roses.

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of Elegant Eggplant and layered with patterned papers from the Memory Box Viola 6x6 pack.  My elegant image is Diva by Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  You can find her in the Females section of Robert's store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It and colored her with my Copics.  I added Star Dust Stickles to her shawl and headband and Purple Stickles to her gown.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  No roses here, just a Wild Orchid Crafts Gardenia and two Cherry Blossoms to finish off my card.

Here is a close of the Diva:

Gettin' Ready

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  It's looking like it will be a  nice day today so I'm anxious to get outside.  Hope it won't be too hot.  Before I get going, I'm here to post my final project as Featured Designer at Jackson's Digital Expressions.  Many thanks to Chana, Robert and the whole JDE team for inviting me to showcase the new images in the July Release this week!  It's been a blast!

My last card features Gettin' Ready Girl:

I started with a card base of SU Buckaroo Blue and layered with pretty patterned papers from the Webster's Pages Let's Celebrate/All About Me/Western Romance Petite Papers Pack.  I thought these papers also went well with the optional color challenge this week.  My image is Gettin' Ready Girl  from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  You can find it in the Lil Folks section of Robert's store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.    I didn't want to cover up the papers so I didn't add any more embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great weekend and hope to see you soon!

The Best Things are Friends

Hi again!  I'm sure you are getting sick of me by now.  I don't know exactly how I ended up with so many posts on the same day, but please bear with me. Things will get back to normal soon, I promise! I'm back to share the card I made for Day 4 of my Featured Designer stint at Jackson's Digital Expressions.

Today I am featuring "Bridge Ladies":

I started with a card base of SU Certainly Celery and layered with patterned papers from the Bo Bunny Olivia Pad.  The image is Bridge Ladies from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  You can find it in the Friends section of Roberts store here. I printed it on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored with my Copics.  I added a bit of Stickles to their jewelry for some sparkle.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A triple loop bow of matching seam binding finished up my card.

My card is also for the Color Throwdown #200 (colors) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday #162 (sketch).

Here is the colors CTD color inspiration:

Quiet Friends

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  I am so excited we are one day nearer the weekend!  I've got another busy day of appointments and need to leave soon, but before I go, I'm here to share another card for my Guest Designer spot at Jackson's Digital Expressions July Release Party.

Today I am featuring "A Quiet Moment":

I started with a card base of GKD Lipstick Red and layered with patterned papers from the Basic Grey Oxford Collection.  The cute image is A Quiet Moment by Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  It is available in the Males section of Robert's store here.  I printed him on Copic X-press It Blending Card and colored him with my Copics. I sponged a few clouds in the sky with SU Soft Sky.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I thought it was perfect for the image!  A punched border and a strip of Webster's Pages Ribbon Tape (the alphabet) finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be back later to check out all your blogs and share some other things I've been working on.

Have a great day!

Jackson's Digital Expressions - Featured Designer

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  I'm off to a bit of a late start this morning.  We had some really severe thunderstorms last night and I had all the computers off, just in case.  Luckily, we got some much needed rain, but no damage, at least where I am.  Today is starting off cooler but really muggy!

Anyway, I'm here to share the card I made for Jackson's Digital Expressions.  I am excited to have been invited to be a featured designer this week as part of their big July Release Party!  I will be sharing cards this week that I've made with the new images that were released in July.  Today's Anything Goes Challenge #12 has an optional color inspiration.

Here are the colors:

Here is my card:

I got in the right color families, but I have a bit more pink than the red in the photo inspiration.  I started with a card base of SU Not Quite Navy and layered patterned papers from the Kaisercraft Miss Nelly 6.5x6.5 pad.  My elegant image is Vintage Hat V from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson. You can find it in the Vintage section of Robert's store here. I printed it on Copic X-Press It Blending card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of White Opal Liquid Pearls to her jewelry and around the scalloped frame.  Otherwise I kept my embellishments to a minimum.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Retail Therapy which you can find in Paulette's store here.

I used Jen Del Muro's July Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) for my layout:

My card is also for Copic Challenge #47 on Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom which is to color with navy and/or dark blues.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit Jackson's Digital Expressions blog and check out all the fantastic DT creations and all the events that are part of the July Release!  There are lots of challences to win fabulous prizes!

Have a great day and hope to see you soon!

Your Big Moment!

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  Hope you all had a great weekend and you have fun plans for the week ahead!  Sheesh, was it ever hot this weekend!  My thoughts go out to everyone still dealing with the high heat and storms and lack of power.  Although we had temps in the 100's, we did not lose power.   It's been raining all day here today.  We really needed it after several weeks with no rain, so no complaints.  Anyway, I didn't have much time in the craft room or on the computer this weekend for a variety of reasons, but I did manage to make one card for Jackson's Digital Expressions Challenge # 10 (anything goes with sketch optional).

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of GKD Red Hot and layered bright patterned papers from the Kaisercraft Fine & Sunny 6.5x6.5 pad.  For the banner across the top, I used one of the diecuts from the same pad, to which I added a few rhinestones.   My fun image is At The Casino from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  It is in the Seniors section of Robert's store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles here and there for some sparkle and Glossy Accents to her glasses and a few places on the slot machine.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A few more rhinestones and a chevron-striped bow finished off my card.

My card is also for the new Oozak Challenge #4 - Bright Colors.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to get back in the swing of things this week!  See you soon!

You Are F.I.N.E.

Good morning!  Happy Hump Day!  Have you had a good week so far?  Hope so!  I've got another busy afternoon, but before I head out, I'm here to share a card I made for two challenges: Jackson's Digital Expressions #8 (anything goes - inks and such) and Tuesday Morning Sketches #150 (use sketch and black, Kraft and one other color).

Here is TMS #150:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of SU Basic Black and layered with patterned paper from the Basic Grey Olivia collection.  I flipped the sketch to vertical for my card.  The elegant image is Evening Gown from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics. It's a little hard to see, but I added some Stickles to the rose in her hair and used my Sand Spica pen to give her shoes and bag a little shimmer.
Here is a close-up of just the image:

The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I added Kraft-colored pearls to the scallops around the image.  A Kraft taffeta bow and a single Wild Orchid Crafts rose finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day and hope to see you again soon!
