All Tied Up

Hi there!  Happy Wednesday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  I've been pretty busy, but I finally feel as if I'm getting back into a normal routine.  Before I head out for the morning, I'm popping by to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do when I have time.

Here it is:

My card base and mats are SU Bordering Blue and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Oxford collection.  The cute image is digi11304 All Tied Up from QKR Stampede.  It was one of the images I chose when I won a challenge they were sponsoring.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  The sentiment is digi11203 Tied Up also from QKR Stampede.  A few buttons and pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be by to visit you later on when I get home.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Friday Sketch Challenges #34 (Marie's sketch)
QKR Stampede Challenge #20 (anything goes)
Tammy's Scrapin' Corner #44 (manly cards)
Divas by Design (anything goes)

Here is FSC-34:

Have a great day!  Hope to see you soon!

You Rock!

Hi again!  You're probably getting sick of me by now! I promise this is it for the rest of the day!  I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.   The theme this week is "singing and/or dancing".  Fun one, right!  Lots of great possibilities!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats for all the layers are SU Basic Black. I layered with patterned papers from the Authentique Journey and Echo Park Victoria Garden (music) 6x6 pads.  The fun image is Rock Chick, a digi stamp from Kenny K.  I printed her on X-Press it and colored her with my Copics.  The guitar sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  It's also colored with Copics.  Three strips of metal studs from one of my Webster's Pages Trim Cards (sorry, not sure which one) finished my card.

Here is a close up of the image:

My card is also for Kenny K.'s Krafty Krew Challenge #111 (black and white + 1 color), Friday Sketch Challenge #26 and Divas by Design #53 (lovely layers - at least 4).

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge and check out the fabulous creations from the DT and our wonderful Guest Designer for September, NanaConnie!  We hope you come play along with the challenge!  This month's challenges are being generously sponsored by the awesome Kenny K.!  One lucky participant in the September C/P challenges will win 5 digis of their choice from Kenny K. Downloads!  You don't want to miss out on a chance for this fantastic prize!

As always, there are also lots of monthly site-wide prizes to be won if you enter any of the challenges at The Outlawz!

Believe in The Magic

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I have a busy day planned so before I head out, I'm popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do.  It is for Mo's DP2 Challenge #152 (buttons), Sweet Sketch Wednesday #171 (sketch), Cute Card Thursday #234 (Christmas in September), Stampin' For The Weekend #17 (starting Christmas early) and Divas by Design #52 (for a child). Phew!

Here is SSW-171:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Cranberry Tart.  The patterned papers are from the Memory Box Mistletoe 6x6 pad.  My sweet Mo's image is Christmas Fairy Holly.  You can find her in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Fabriano Aquarello Extra White and colored her with Distress Inks for a soft look (Skin: Antique Linen, Tattered Rose; Hair: Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo; Holly: Bundled Sage; Dress and Shoes: Aged Mahogany, Tumbled Glass; Bells and Snowglobe: Gathered Twigs, Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass).  I added Gold Stickles to the Bells, Red Stickles to the berries and lots of Star Dust Stickles to the bottom of her dress and the snowglobe.  I finished the image with a coat of Glossy Accents on the snowglobe, over the Stickles. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Enjoy The Snow set in Paulette's store here. Some ruffled seam binding, a button and a bit of Baker's Twine finished my card.

A Little Sassy

Hi again.  I'm back with a second post today because after I got home, I was able to finish another card I had in the works.  This one is for the Kenny K. Krafty Krew Challenge #107 - get sketchy.  It is also this week's Divas by Design Challenge #49 (anything goes).

Here is the KKKK sketch:

Here is my card:

I used SU Not Quite Navy cardstock and layered the sketch panels with patterned papers from the Authentique Loyal 6x6 pad.  My fun image is Freshman from Kenny K.  I printed her on Copic X-Press-It and colored her with my Copics.  Some of my E markers are still misbehaving, so I am waiting for replacements. They should be here tomorrow.  I hope that fixes my blending issues.  I added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to the white trim on her top and Lime Green Stickles to her necklace and bracelet.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the A Day In The Life Word Art set in Paulette's store here.  A few green pearls from my stash finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by again!  I will be back tomorrow with my DT card for the Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz.

Good morning!  TGIF!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am here first thing to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  This week's theme is "Tic Tac Toe".   Pick any row, column or diagonal  from the grid below to design your card.

Here is the tic tac toe card we worked from:

Here is my card:

I chose ribbon, pearls and flowers from the grid.  I started with a card base of GKD Chocolate Brown and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose Hazel 6x6 pad.  They were part of a fantastic blog candy that I won recently from Alice Wertz.  Thanks again, Alice!  My cute image is Leah and the Craft Magazine from Guylou's Inimitability.  Guylou is the wonderful sponsor of the August Copic/Promarker Challenges!  You can find this fun digi and lots more in Guylou's on-line store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bit of Stickles to the flower on the magazine.  My sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  An aqua bow, three pink pearls and a few Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Leah:

I am also entering my card in the Papertake Weekly Challenge #70 (sketch) and Divas by Design #46 (flowers).

Here is the sketch:
