Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #97 - Back To School

Good morning!  It's Thursday and time for the weekly challenge on Mo's DP2 Challenge blog!  It's my last week as GD for the month and I have to say, I am so sad to see my stint designing with the awesome Mo's DT coming to an end!  It has been so much fun and you can be sure that I will be back every week playing along with the future challenges!

This week's theme was "Back To School".  I know for many of you, school has already started.  In my neighborhood, I see the buses every morning now and all the cute kids lining up to get on.  That was the inspiration for my card this week:

I chose this adorable image from Mo Manning called "Dundee".  I think he is just the cutest little guy!  I printed him on Cryogen White and colored him with Copic markers.  My 5 1/2" square card base is retired SU Buckaroo Blue. It's layered with papers from the Basic Grey Oxford 6x6 pad.  Some matching ribbon and a coordinating Basic Grey button finished my card.

Thanks for dropping by!  Be sure to check out this week's fabulous creations from Mo's wonderfully talented design team and why not play along with us?  If you enter a card in the challenge, you'll have a chance to win one of Mo's fantastic images!  Hope you'll be inspired to join in!

See you soon!

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #95

Good morning!  I'm so glad Blogger finished its maintenance last night so I could get on here and share my card for this week's Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge.  I am having so much fun guest designing this month with the wonderful and talented ladies on the design team!  This week's theme was "anything but a card".

Here is my project for the challenge:

I decided to make a little garden journal as a gift for a friend who loves to garden.  I started with a journal I picked up for $1 at Michael's awhile back.   I covered it with coordinating pattered paper from the Basic Grey Marrakech collection.  I added a few fun trims from the Webster's Pages Let's Celebrate Trim Card.  My Mo's image is Sadie and I colored her with Copic markers. That was it - a simple project that  hope my friend will like. I hope you like it, too!

Be sure to check out all the fabulous projects the design team has shared today!  And why not play along?  For the first two weeks of the month, you can throw your name in the hat to be a guest designer when you enter a card.  Trust me, it's lots of fun!  And you also have the chance to win a Mo's image just for playing along!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge

Good morning!  I can hardly contain myself today!  I have some exciting news to share - I was selected as the Guest Designer for the  Mo's DP2 Challenges for the month of August!!!  I am so thrilled to have the chance to design with the incredibly sweet and talented Design Team this month! This week's challenge was to create an easel card with a bird or animal somewhere on the card.

Here is my card for the challenge:

This is the very first card I've made in my new house!  It was kind of like a "limited supplies" challenge since most of my stuff is still packed.  However, my Copics never left my side during the move and I managed to scrounge up some cardstock and patterned paper to make my card.  I made a 5" square easel card with a base of SU Rich Razzleberry, layers of GKD Turquoise Sea and patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky 6x6 pad.  My cute Mo's image is Home Tweet Home. I colored it with Copics and highlighted with Spica pens for some sparkle.  A simple bow of Rich Razzleberry ribbon finished my card.

Thanks so much to the Mo's team for inviting me to join them this month and thanks for stopping by!   Be sure to check out all the awesome creations from the rest of the team on the Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog.!

See you soon!
