Little Miss Muffet Inspiration Post

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  We are over the hump and cruising to the weekend!  I'm here, as always on Thursday, with my DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  This week we have our inspiration posts for you over in the Little Miss Muffet Facebook group.  It's a chance for the Little Misses to share creations with some of our favorite Little Miss Muffet products and it's always a fun place to chat, so head on over!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Sage Shadow and the cute patterned papers are from the We R Memory Keepers Inked Rose 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Sugar 'n Spice Dolls Ginger from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I decided to do a little paper-piecing this time.  I colored her skin and hair with my Copics, then paper-pieced her uniform with papers from the same pad.  After coloring, I fussy-cut her and popped her up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few clear gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Facebook Group and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Little Misses!  They will be adding their projects throughout the day.  There's still time to play along with our "anything goes" challenge.  You have until Tuesday, June 3rd to enter.  Don't miss out!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge #208 (Anne Marie's sketch)
Through the Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Crafting From The Heart Challenge #20 (anything goes)

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Enter to win my blogaversary candy here until December 31st.

Good morning!  Happy Friday! Hope you've had wonderful holiday times and a great week, in general!  Like many others, I've been taking a little break from crafting and blogging, but I am still popping in now to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  As usual, the theme for this last week of the month is "anything goes" with an optional Christmas twist.  I can imagine you are a little tired of Christmas cards right now, but there is no time like the present to get started on next year - lol!  The twist is optional, of course, but you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) to enter.

Here is my final Christmas card make in 2013:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Bright Christmas and Bo Bunny Mistletoe 6x6 pads.  The cute image is Santa Hat from Time For Tea Designs.  You can find her in Jo's Etsy shop here.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added white glitter to the trim on her coat and hat.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A satin bow and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the fun creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along!  It's your last chance to get in on a chance at the fabulous prize offered by our wonderful sponsor, Time For Tea Designs!  Jo is offering three digis of the winner's choice to one lucky participant in this month's challenges!  You can't win if you don't play!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp #187 (any past sketch; I used #179 below)
Sentimental Sundays #186 (anything Christmas goes)
Cute Card Thursday #301 (anything goes)
Stampin' With The Dragon (last minute Christmas)

Here is Sketch #179:

Candy Cane Dreams

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  Can you believe that tomorrow is the 1st of June already?  Where does the time go?  Wasn't it just January? Anyway, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  It is the last Friday of the month, so the theme is the ever-popular "anything goes" and we offer up the option to put a Christmas twist on it, if you'd like.  That is not a requirement for the challenge.  The only thing that is a requirement is to have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

I decided to get back to the Christmas twist this month. My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Aspen Frost 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Peppermint from MayzyArt.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Red Stickles to the ornaments on her shoes and necklace and Glossy Accents to the holly berries in her hair. The sentiment was a freebie on Whimsy Stamps Facebook page last October.    Some Ice White Pearl Pen accents, two sparkly holly stickers and an olive satin bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from my teammies, Jen, Linda and Dawn!  We hope you will play along!  The May challenges are being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink.  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win 3 digistamps of their choice from 2 Cute Ink.  There are also lots of site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch & Stamp #158 (Marie's sketch)
MayzyArt Challenge #018 (sweets)
Basic Grey Challenges #94 (inspired by a song; I chose Candy Cane Christmas from Darius Rucker)

Have a wonderful day and see you soon!

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and there is fun in store for you for the weekend!  It seems that at least half the weekend is going to be raining here, so we'll have to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.  Before I get on with my day, I am popping in to share my DT card for the Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  As always for the last Friday of the month, we have our ever-popular theme of  "anything goes" with an optional twist of making a Christmas card.    This leaves it all pretty wide open, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

I decided against a Christmas card this month, but hope to get back to them next month.  I went with a springy pink and green combo.  It looks more red in the photos, but it's definitely pink in real life.  My card base and mats are SU Primrose Petals and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park This & That 6x6 pad and the October Afternoon Woodland Park 8x8 pad.  The sweet image is Summer Day Emma, a digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I can't seem to stop adding grass and clouds to my outdoor images!  I added some Stickles to the flower centers, the butterflies and the tiny flowers I put in the grass.  I added "pearls" around the scalloped frame with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from the Flowers in Bloom Sentiments set by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps.  I didn't add any additional embellishments this time.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along!  It's your last chance to get in on the wonderful prize this month!  Our challenges are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps and one randomly-selected participant in the April challenges will win 5 digis of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps store!  As always, there are also lots of wonderful site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Simon Says Stamp Challenge (anything goes)
Sunday Sketch & Stamp #153 (sketch)

I am here to post my DT card for the new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability.  The theme this time is "snow happy".  Gina is our wonderful hostess and she is challenging us to make a card that features snow.  Easy peasy, right?

Here are the challenge details:

How to participate:

Challenge Prizes:
A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
1. A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store
2. An invitation to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers from from the Carta Bella Winter fun 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Serena on Skies from Guylou's Inimitability.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added lots of Crystal Snow glitter to her hat, jacket and the ground.  I uses two sentiments from Create With TLC.  They are both from the recent Winter Club.  I added more glitter to the snowflakes on the circle sentiment.   I didn't add any more embellishments, just kept it simple so the image was the focal point.  And there you have it!

My card base and mats are GKD Red Hot and the berry patterned papers are from the GKD Berries and Vines 6x6 pack.  My sweet image is Queens Cutie from Kenny K.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bit of Red Stickles to her pendants.  She was cut out and popped up on a Spellbinders Scalloped Circle frame.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Three Wild Orchid Crafts blossoms and a bunch of red pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

My card is also for Kenny K.'s Krafty Krew #112 (hey fruity - use fruit or fruit colors) and Sunday Sketch and Stamp #125 (sketch).

Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi again!  I'm back and by this time I should be up!  I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Our theme this week is "Christmas in July".  We want to see a Christmas (or December holiday) theme with at least one image colored with alcohol markers such as Copics or Promarkers.

Here is my card for the challenge:

I started with a card base of GKD Red Hot and layered with pattterned papers from the My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas 6x6 pad.  My fun image is Xmas Shopping by Kenny K.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles and Snow Glitter for a bit of sparkle.  My sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.

Here is a close-up of the image:
