Little Miss Muffet - Inspiration

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a good weekend and your week is off to a great start!  I've been totally MIA for the past week.  First, I was waiting for Geek Squad to repair my computer, then I had my dear friend visiting me from Sweden and then I was out of town with very limited internet access. I feel so out of touch, but it was a kind of nice forced break from the computer.  I am trying hard to catch up today.  I am here now with my Little Miss Muffet DT card from last Thursday.  I couldn't get online to post it then.  It was Inspiration Thursday and the Little Misses posted lots of wonderful inspiration projects over in the Little Miss Muffet Facebook group.  I hope you had a chance to check them out.

Here is my belated creation:

My card base and mats are SU Island Indigo and the patterned papers are from my stash so I am not exactly sure which pad they are from.  The adorable image is Sugar 'n Spice Dolls Ginger from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics then cut her out and popped her up.  The cute sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A simple satin bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you take a moment to check out the fabulous projects the rest of the Little Misses posted Thursday and the days since!  You still have until tomorrow to enter our "many layers" challenge over on the Little Miss Muffet blog.  We hope to see your creation there!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sentimental Sundays #259 (funny or cute sentiment)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (color inspiration)
Creative Fingers Challenge #80 (anything goes)

Here is the SSS color inspiration swatch:

Have a great day!  I'll have another post today for my Friday Coloring Challenge card from last week.

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  I hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's raining again today and it's supposed to do the same all weekend, so I'm pretty sure that outdoor activities will be at a minimum this weekend.  I am popping in now to share my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge.  The theme this week is a "color inspiration".  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.

Here is the color inspiration photo, courtesy of Design Seeds:

And here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Gumball Green and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Origins 6x6 pad.  The image is Little Green by Ching Chou Kuik.  I got the image from Sweet Pea Stamps, but I don't see it listed in the store right now.  I thought it was the perfect image for these colors!  I colored it with my Copics.  I didn't add a sentiment this time.  A few yellow gems finished my card.

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #103

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  Thinking of my family and friends in the Northeast that are starting to dig out from the big storm. Thankfully, our weather here in AL has been calm, although on the cold side. Amazingly, it's Thursday again and time for my Little Miss Muffet DT post.  We have a brand new challenge starting today and the theme is "all you need is love".  What could be more perfect with Valentine's Day just a couple of weeks away? My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Polka Dot Pals Romeo from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored him with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few hearts punched from glitter paper finished my card.

Get Well Soon, Paulette!

Good morning!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you've had a great weekend so far!  I am here this morning with something very special.  If you follow the Create With TLC blog, you will know that the poor Paulette had a bad fall last week and dislocated and broke her ankle in three places! She has since had surgery and has to be in a big heavy cast for many weeks, followed by a long recovery period.  You can read all the updates on Paulette on the Create With TLC blog.  Paulette's wonderful daughter, Bri is keeping the show going on the blog and keeping us all updated and for that we are enormously grateful.

Some of Paulette's current and former DT members are getting together today with a blog hop to send Paulette lots of encouragement and to let her know we are thinking about her and wishing her a speedy and complete recovery.  We have all created projects for her using some of the many freebies she so generously shares with her followers each and every day.  There will also be a Linky set up on the blog, so if you would like to create an encouragement or get well project for Paulette, you will also be able to add it there.

If you arrived at my blog from Karen's blog, you are right on track.  If not, you may want to start at the beginning with Candy's blog, so you don't miss anything.

With that introduction, I will get onto my card for Paulette:

My card base and mats are SU Pretty in Pink and the patterned papers are from the Authentique Flourish 6x6 pad.  The cute vintage image is from Create With TLC.  It's called Playing Doctor.  I colored the whole little scene with my Copics.  The sentiment is also from Create With TLC.  A couple of paper flowers and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the vintage image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Your next stop on the hop is Ileana.  Enjoy the rest of the hop!

Get well soon, Paulette!  We miss you!

In case you get lost, here is the whole list:

Carla -  Carla's Stamping Spot (you are here)
Ileana - Sparkling Pink
Hetty - Craft Chaos

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning, again!  I'm up now and back as promised with my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "weddings/anniversaries". You can take the theme wherever you'd like, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my wedding card:

I've made a CAS wedding card with a white card base, silver mirror card layer and an embossed frame.  The elegant image is Wedding Couple from Aurora Wings.  You can find it in Mitzi's Etsy shop here.  I printed the image within the frame and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Diamond Stickles to her gown, veil and around the flowers in her bouquet.  The sentiment is stamped (from GKD Arranged With Love set).  A few large gems in the corners finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Flower Power

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  How is your week going so far?  We got off to a crazy start with severe weather!  There were several tornadoes in the region last night, with quite a bit of damage.  Luckily for us, we just had the strong winds and lots of rain and lightning.  It was still pretty scary until we finally got the all clear around 12:30 AM.  They say we may get some more strong storms tonight, but I hope it won't be as bad as last night.  Especially because our friends arrive today!  Anyway, before they get here, I'm popping in to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing.

Here is my card:

I know!  Can you believe I've done another CAS card?  I don't know what's got into me these days!  Not much to tell you here.  The strip of patterned paper is from the GCD Studios Happiness 6x6 pad and it's machine-stitched around the borders.  The adorable image is Cute-ilicious from Tiddly Inks. I had the pleasure of watching Christy actually draw this at the Texas Coloring Retreat last month, so of course, I had to have it!  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the ladybugs and some Stickles to the butterflies. The sentiment was a Friday Freebie from Sharon at A Piece of Heart.  You can find it here.  A few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post tonight because it's Wednesday morning already in Brisbane and it's time for a new Elphine House Australia challenge.  The theme for Challenge #56 is "charms and pins".  The only other requirement is to use an Elisabeth Bell stamp (any company).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Innocent Pink and the patterned papers are from the echo Park Bundle of Joy Girl 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Evania Nursing Boo-boo from Elphine House Australia.  I stamped it onto MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added Liquid Pearls to her waistband and lots of Crystal Stickles to her wings.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A triple-loop taffeta bow, heart charm and a handmade crystal and pearl pin finished my card.

On My Mind

Good afternoon!  Happy Monday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  The weather has certainly changed here!  Yesterday was sunny and 75 and today is cloudy, rainy and 35.  I'll be glad when we are having mostly the former type or weather!  It won't be long, I'm sure.  At least we aren't getting snow like some of my friends and family!  Anyway, I'm popping in quickly to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing when I have time and I did find a little time for the craft room yesterday.

Here is my card:

My easel card base and mats are SU Lucky Limeade and the patterned papers are from the Kaisercraft Devonshire 6x6 pad.  The beautiful digi image is Come Softly by ching chou kuik for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed her on Hammermill Digital Color Cover Stock and colored her with my Copics.  I added a few accents with my White Paint Pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A doily and a few Wild Orchid Crafts flowers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
