Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi again!  Happy (almost) Friday!  Have you had a good week?  Hope so, and hope you have fun plans for the weekend.  We are expecting snow flurries in my neck of the woods and may I say, I am not thrilled with the idea of snow in March in AL.  I am anxious for the real spring to step up to the plate.  Not this 45 degrees one day and 65 the next.   Anyway, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  It's our first challenge of March and the theme is "pets".  Anything to do with animals is fine, but you must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic 6x6 pad.  The cute image is Designing Dreams by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD.  I stamped it on Make it Colour Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with my Copics.  I cut out and popped up the two parts of the image (girl and kitty) separately on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A simple paper doily finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Pro/Marker Challenge and check out the adorable creations from the rest of the DT.  We hope you will play along with our pet/animal challenge!  There are always fabulous prizes to be won when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Elisabeth Bell's World February/March Challenge (sketch challenge)
Fab 'n Funky #160 (Pastel Colors)
The Cutie Pie Challenge #38 (pretty pastels)

Have a great day and weekend!  Hope to see you soon!

Little Miss Muffet New Release

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  If it's Thursday, it must be time for my Little Miss Muffet DT post and indeed it is!  We've got a new release this week and these stamps are seriously the cutest ever!  We've got nine new rubber stamps this time and I know you are going to love them all like I do!  Check out the What's New section of the Little Miss Muffet store to see them all.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the patterned papers are from the Authentique Celebrate 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Poorly Chester from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He's another addition to the Pollycraft collection.  I used a digi version of the rubber stamp for my card.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I cut him out with my Cameo and popped him up on foam tape.  The frame was also cut with my Cameo using a freebie cut file from Pam Ramesh.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  The cute embellishments (band-aid, pill bottle and thermometer) were all cut with my Cameo using cut files from the Silhouette online store.  I thought they went perfectly with poorly Chester!

Here is a close-up of Chester:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and feast your eyes on the fabulous projects created by the rest of the DT, including our two new Little Misses, Julie and Karen!  You will find all the new release stamps now in the Little Miss Muffet store.  Don't forget you still have until next Tuesday, March 5, to play along in our Blue and Yellow Challenge.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft image, you can enter as "anything goes" as many times as you'd like.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Divas by Design (anything goes)

It's All About The Cake

Hello, friends!  Happy Wednesday!  Hope the first half of your week has been great and the rest will be even better!  It continues to be busy around here, but I did manage to finish up a card today that I'm here to share with you.  It is for the Lili of The Valley Birthday Competition.  LOTV is turning 9 and they are celebrating with lots of fun events, including this competition.  Be sure to check out the LOTV's Ideas to Inspire blog for all the details!

Here is my birthday card:

My card base and mats are SU Tempting Turquoise and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Hip Hooray collection.  The adorable image is Rosie With Cake from the Girlie section of the Lili of The Valley store.  I stamped her on Make it Colour Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out and popped her up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.   I used my Cameo to cut a zig zag border out of turquoise holographic paper and added a couple of holographic present stickers from Jolee's.  It was really hard to get a good pic of the holographic stuff - sorry! You probably can't tell, but one present is pink and the other is orange. A bit of Lime Green and Orange Stickles finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to come by and visit your blogs before the start of American Idol (yep, got sucked in again).

I am entering my card in the following other challenges:
Seems A Little Sketchy #33 (sketch)
Inky Chicks Challenge #4 (Mother's Day or birthday)
Card Makin' Mamas (birthday)

Dance To Your Own Music

Hi there!  Long time, no see!  Sorry about that, but my crafting schedule has been a bit off of late.  Despite my best intentions, I'm not making it into my craft room as often as I'd like.  But I'm here now with a quick post to share a card I made for the Mayzy Art Challenge #11 where the theme was "music".

Here is my card:

My card base is SU Cherry Cobbler and the frame is Basic Black.  No patterned paper on this one (gasp!!), just a fun music frame that I cut with my Cameo using a file from the Silhouette store.  My fun image is Romantic Tango from Mayzy Art.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of Glossy Accents to his shoes.  I cut out the image with the Cameo and mounted it up on foam tape. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.

Here is a close-up of the couple:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to find a bit of time later tonight to visit your blogs if I haven't already.

Have a great evening and see you soon!

Good Things in Small Packages

Hi again!  I'm back with a super quick second post today.  I wanted to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I like to do.  It is Elphine House Challenge #38 (let's hear it for the boys), Corrosive Challenge #168 (rainbow bright - fave color combo) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday #194 (sketch).

Here is SSW-194:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bashful Blue and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye On The Sunny Side 6x6 pad.  These warm and happy papers have all my favorite colors in them! My sweet boy image is Party Present by Elisabeth Bell for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I stamped him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I cut him out and popped him up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Since it was a boy card, I kept my embellishments to a minimum, using just some grosgrain ribbon and a chipboard button with twine to finish my card.

Thanks for stopping by again!  Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you again soon!

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  Take care all of you in the path of yet another big winter storm.  It's been raining a lot here, but at least it's not snow!  Before I head out for the day, I'm here to post my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge on the The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is the ever-popular "anything goes".  As always for the last challenge of the month, we are offering a Christmas twist.  If you'd like to get a jump start on your Christmas cards, this is a perfect way to do it!

Here is my card:

I decided to do a fancy fold and settled on a center step card.  My card base is SU Soft Sky and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye All is Bright 6x6 pad.  My beautiful image is In The Manger from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I cut it out with my Cameo and popped it up on foam tape.  I added a bunch of stars that were cut from GKD Good As Gold with my Cameo.  The cut file for the filigree stars is from Krewella Kreations and the star border file is from Bird's Cards.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  To finish my card, I added a couple of musical notes cut with my Cameo using a file from the Silhouette store (I think).

Here is a side view of the center step card:

And finally, a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to head over to the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the beautiful creations from the rest of the DT.  We hope you will find time to play along with us.  Our February challenges are being sponsored by "yours truly". One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win a $15 gift certificate to use in the Mo's Digital Pencil store.  As always, there are other fantastic site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Mo's DP2 Challenge #173 (don't be square)
Divas by Design (fancy fold)
Crafty Sentiments Designs (fancy folds or not square)

Have a wonderful day and see you soon!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Sorry I've been MIA again for a few days.  There's lots of stuff going on that's taking me away from my craft room, but it's nothing bad and I hope that I will get back in there shortly.   But it's Thursday and time for my Little Miss Muffet DT post.  This week starts a new challenge.  It's a color challenge this time - we want to see your "blue and yellow" creations.

Here is my blue and yellow card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the Authentique Renew 8x8 pad.    My adorable image is Marjoram from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  She was one of the cute new releases last week.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.   She was cut out with my Cameo and popped up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  That was popped up also.  A few yellow pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Marjoram:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful February Guest Designer, Shelly!  We hope you will play along!  You have until midnight (CST) on Tuesday, March 5 to enter your project.  You don't need to use a Little Miss Muffet stamp to participate.  However, if you do use a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft image, you may enter as many times as you'd like with "anything goes" as the theme.  Otherwise, please follow the color challenge and enter only once.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Friday Sketch Challenge #37 (sketch)
Incy Wincy Challenge (pop it up)
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)

Top Banana

Hi there!  Happy Sunday!  I hope you had a good weekend and you are gearing up for a great week ahead. As I said yesterday, I rarely have time to post over the weekend, but again, I wanted to share  a couple of cards I made with another new set from Create With TLC.  This is a really fun set!

Here is my first card:

My card base and mats are SU Soft Sky and the patterned paper is from the new Authentique Renew 8x8 pad.  The bunch of bananas is an image from the Top Banana set in Paulette's Create With TLC store here.  I printed it on Copic X-Press It and colored it with my Copics.  I cut it out with my Cameo and popped it up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from the same set.   A simple striped ribbon bow finished my card.   Oh, and I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch #178 for my layout.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my second card:

My card base and mats are SU Chocolate Chip and the patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Origins 6x6 pad.  I added some bamboo that I cut with my Cameo out of Gumball Green cardstock using a cut file from the Silhouette Store.  The cute monkey is also from the Top Banana set, as is the fun sentiment.  I colored the monkey with my Copics then cut him out with my Cameo and popped him up.  A rhinestone butterfly finished my simple card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great evening!  I'll be popping by to visit later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Bed of Roses

Hi there!  Happy Saturday!  I rarely post over the weekend, but I had a card I wanted to share tonight, so I'm going for it.  My card showcases a beautiful new set in Paulette's Create With TLC store that I am sure you are going to love.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Fresh Asparagus and the patterned papers are from the Kaisercraft The Lake House 6.5x6.5 paper pad.  My main image is from the Love is Like a Rose Garden set from Create With TLC.  You can find it in Paulette's store here.  I printed it twice on Copic X-Press It blending card and colored both with my Copics. I cut out the full image and then the rose only with my Cameo. I also cut out a backing mat of Fresh Asparagus with the Cameo using the same trace. I layered everything with foam tape and added it to the card.  The sentiment is from another Create With TLC set called The Rose.  I think the two sets work perfectly together.  A few pink pearls finished my card.

I am entering my card in the One Stop Craft Challenge #216 sketch challenge.  Here is the sketch:

I Love You

Hi again!  Hope you're having a good day! I'm back with my second post of the day and I have to make it quick because I don't want to miss the deadline for one of the challenges I'd like to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Picadilly 12x12 paper collection.  My sweet image is Hugs and Kisses from Saturated Canary.  Krista generously offered her as a freebie on her blog recently.  I don't think she is in the store right now.   I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some white polka dots to the patch on her skirt and one of the hearts in the box.  I added a bit of sparkle to the lace trim on the hearts with Diamond Stickles.  I cut her out with my Cameo and popped her up on foam tape.  The image frame is a heart doily from Saskia.  I found the cut file on one of the online Silhouette forums (Silhouette Plus, I think).  It is cut out of Cherry Cobbler with the Cameo.  The sentiment "label" is from Create With TLC.  Paulette generously shared it as a freebie this past week. I think it's so fun! A bit of white lace, three roses from my stash and a few adhesive pearls finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I am always grateful for your visits.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Saturated Canary #37 (love)
Loves Rubberstamps Challenge #39 (all about love)
Divas by Design (love and romance)
Cute Card Thursday #256 (an "eye" for detail; I used an image with big eyes)

Thinking of You

Good Morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and a fun Valentine's Day if you celebrate that!   Now it's time for the weekend and hopefully a little extra crafting time!  I'm here a card I made for two of my DTs, Guylou's Inimitability and the Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  I rarely have the opportunity to combine these projects, but it worked out this week, so I went for it.   The theme for the Copic/ProMarker challenge is "thinking of you" - can be general or sympathy and Guylou's challenge is "three in a row, that's the way to go" - a BINGO challenge.

First, here are the details for the challenge at Guylou's Inimitability:

Kim is our hostess this week and she is challenging us to use the BINGO card below to select the elements for our project.  I chose button(s), free space, ribbon.

Challenge Deadline:
You have until 10:00 PM (EDT) on February 28th to link your project to the Inlinkz at the end of the challenge post.
How to participate:
You may enter only ONE project per challenge, but if you use a Guylou's Inimitability digistamp, your project will count for two entries.  If you don't have one of Guylou's digistamps, you can check the online store where several freebies are available.
Challenge Prizes:
A winner will be selected randomly and will win:
1. A $10.00 gift certificate from Guylou's online store
2. An invitation to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Melon Mambo and the patterned papers are from the Pebbles Sunny Side collection.    My sweet image is Leah from Guylou's Inimitability.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored here with my Copics.  I added a touch of Stickles to the pink flowers on her hat.  She was cut out with my Cameo and popped up on foam tape.  I stitched around the background papers and the image frame.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some ribbon, a flower button and a few heart gems finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit both the Guylou's Inimitability blog and the Copic/ProMarker challenge to check out the beautiful creations from both DTs for the respective challenges!    I would love to see your creations for either or both challenges!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Tuesday Throwdown #134 (anything goes)
