Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have something fun planned for the weekend!  For me, it's going to be spent scrambling around with last minute preparations for Christmas.  I am so far behind this year.  I haven't even mailed out any Christmas cards yet.  I have never been so late with things!  Anyway, before working on my cards, I am here with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is a color/photo inspiration.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your card.

Here is the color inspiration photo, courtesy of Design Seeds:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Wassail collection.  The whimsical image is Fairy Celandine from Make it Crafty.  I turned her into a Christmas fairy!  I colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A couple of 3-D poinsettia stickers and a few pearls finished my card.

Friday Coloring Challenge (on Tuesday)

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope you had a good weekend and a great start to your week. Is anyone but me freaking out that Christmas is only a little more than a week away?  Of course, I am not prepared in the least and I have so much going on right now that I know I will be rushing at the last minute.  Anyway, I am here, although a few days late, with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "gifts/gift packaging".  Perfect for those last minute cards or gift-card holders, right?  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the American Crafts Merrymint 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Aurora Christmas Card by The East Wind.  Let's just say there was a gift card inside!  I colored her with my Copics and added some Polar White Flower Soft to her ear muffs.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few festive stocking stickers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and you have something fun planned for the upcoming weekend! The weather here will be pretty and sunny, although cool, so it will be nice to be out and about.  Last week it was pouring down rain a good part of the weekend. No fun!  Before getting on with the day, I am here to post my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "let it snow".  Very fun for making cards, but I definitely don't want it to actually do so here!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Blue Bayou and the patterned papers are from the Carta Bella Winter Fun 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Moon of Wintertime by Elaine Cox.  It was available from Sweet Pea Stamps before they closed last week.  I colored it with my Copics, then added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to the snowflakes.  A stitched ribbon bow and a couple of white glitter paper die cuts finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the gorgeous cards from my talented teammies!  We hope you will play along this week!  Our December challenges are being sponsored by The East Wind, who are offering the lucky winner 3 digis of their choice from The East Wind Etsy shop.  Be sure to check out Unky's awesome digis!

Good afternoon!  Happy Friday and day after Thanksgiving here in the US!  Hope you had a wonderful time with family and/or friends if you celebrated.  Best of luck to those that venture out on "black Friday"!  Not me, not a chance!  I am popping in to share my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "anything goes'" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  Only a month left until Christmas!  The twist is optional, but you must still have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.  Any coloring medium is fine.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from one of the Recollections 6x6 Christmas pads, I think.  The adorable image is Winter Sisters by Vera Lane Studio.  I colored it with my Copics then added a bit of sparkly glitter to the muff and ball on the stocking cap.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A red chevron-striped bow finished my card.

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the upcoming weekend!  It's supposed to rain all weekend here, so not much chance for outdoor activities, I'm afraid.  Too bad, because the temperatures are actually nice and mild and we still hjave some color on the trees.  Anyway, don't faint, but I am actually here on the right day to post my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz!  The theme for this first challenge of November is "cooking/food".  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Wine With Everything and the patterned papers are from Karen Foster.  I'm not sure which collection they came from. I went with a "cooking with wine" theme! The fun images are from the digi set, Petite Syrah from Vera Lane Studio.  I colored the cute wine girl and the wine bottle with my Copics. The sentiment is from the same digi set.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Elegant Eggplant and the patterned papers are from a K & Co. stack.  I can't remember which one.  The beautiful image is Ethnic Necklaces Girl by Lemon Shortbread from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics and added lots of sparkle to her necklaces with Stickles.  I didn't add anything else.  I wanted this dramatic image to be the focus.
