La Vie Est Belle

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Well, it's just barely Monday as this posts and hopefully Blogger is doing it for me since I think (hope) I am still sleeping.  I am here to share my Guest Designer card for Seems A Little Sketchy #22.  I am honored to have been one of their guest designers for the month of September.   The new challenge is being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  I was generously provided with a SSD digi stamp to use for my card.

I used SU Bordering Blue cardstock for my card base and mats.  The patterned papers are from the Prima En Francais 6x6 pad.  My fun Sassy image is France Honey from the It's A Small World-2 collection that was released in August.  You can find her here.  I printed her on Neenah Solar White and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A few buttons tied with Baker's Twine and a double-loop grosgrain bow finished my card.

Seems A Little Sketchy - September Guest Designer

Hello!  Happy Monday and happy Labor Day if you are in the US or Canada and you're celebrating the holiday!  It's really early, but if all goes well, Mr. Blogger is posting this for me long before I actually wake up!  I am very excited to say that I was selected to be one of the Guest Designers for September for the Seems A Little Sketchy Challenge blog!  I am so honored to be able to post along with their awesome DT!  The current challenge is being sponsored by My Heart Pieces and Unique Crafters Challenge.  I was generously provided with a digi from My Heart Pieces to use for my creation. Priyanka has so many beautiful digital stamps!  You should definitely check out her blog!

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of GKD Turquoise Sea and layered with patterned papers from the Echo Park So Happy Together and Amy Tangerine Sketchbook 6x6 pads.  I machine-stitched around all the sketch panels.  The adorable image is Bathing Fairy from My Heart Pieces.  I printed her on X-Press It and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bunch of Stickles and some Polar White Flower Soft to the bubbles.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Choose To Be set in Paulette's store here.  Some shimmery lace and a flower from my stash finished my card.
