Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning, again!  I'm up now and back as promised with my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "weddings/anniversaries". You can take the theme wherever you'd like, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my wedding card:

I've made a CAS wedding card with a white card base, silver mirror card layer and an embossed frame.  The elegant image is Wedding Couple from Aurora Wings.  You can find it in Mitzi's Etsy shop here.  I printed the image within the frame and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Diamond Stickles to her gown, veil and around the flowers in her bouquet.  The sentiment is stamped (from GKD Arranged With Love set).  A few large gems in the corners finished my card.

BOO!

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  My surgery went fine on Friday and I've been resting since, not doing too much.  I feel a little better today, so I couldn't resist having a little play.   I'm not supposed to sit for long periods of time, though, so I'll make this brief, then take another rest.  I made a quick card for a few challenges I enjoy doing when I can.

Here is my final Halloween card of the year:

My card base and mats are SU Eggplant Envy and the patterned papers are from a Recollections Halloween 12x12 pad from last year.  The adorable image is Little Witch on the Moon, a new addition to the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection. I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Yellow Stickles to the stars and Crystal Stickles to the little ghosts.  The sentiment was made with Scrabble tiles from My Mind's Eye.  I forget which collection they came from.  Some lime ribbon and a fun little jack-o-lantern finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I've been trying to visit in short spurts so I hope to by soon.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch & Stamp #180 (Francesca's sketch)
Craft Your Passion #186 (Halloween)
Love to Create #28 (Halloween)
Tuesday Throwdown #171 (witches or candy)

Alcohol Marker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's Labor Day weekend here in the States, so there is always something fun going on in the area. Even though the kids are already back to school here, Labor Day weekend has always signified the end of summer to me. Where I grew up, we didn't go back to school until after Labor Day. Anyway, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this time is the ever-popular "anything goes" with the optional twist to make a Christmas card for your stash.  You can do anything you'd like, but you must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Jillibean Soup Winter Tortellini and Spinach Soup 6x6 pad.  My cute image is Joy from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  She was another of the fabulous stamps in the blog candy I won from my teammie, Tress, awhile back.  I really hit the jackpot with that win!  Thanks again, Tress!  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics,  The sentiment came with the stamp.  A few buttons with twine bows and a taffeta ribbon bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT.  We hope you will play along! It's your last chance to get in the running for the terrific monthly prize! Our August challenges are sponsored by our very own teammie, Dawn, who is offering the winner three digis of their choice from her Etsy shop, LilyPinkScraps.  There are also lots of fantastic site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz.

Alcohol Marker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's been a crazy week for me, but I am hoping for a little downtime over the weekend!  Maybe I can even make it into my craft room for a bit.  Anyway, right now, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Marker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  Our theme this week is "weddings/anniversaries".  You can make anything you like with that theme, but your project must have coloring with alcohol markers.

Here is my card:

I made a center step card with a base and mats of SU Soft Sky and patterned paper from the Basic Grey Cappella collection.  My wedding image is Married from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of sparkle to her dress, shoes and veil with Star Dust Stickles.  The frame was made with Cheery Lynn's Polynesian Sails Oval die.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A bunch of Wild Orchid Crafts roses, a silk ribbon bow and a few pearl sprays finished my card.

Happy Day to Dad

Good afternoon!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a good weekend and your week is off to a great start!  The weather has been stormy here for the last few days, but luckily, there has been only inconvenience, no damage done.  This week is going to be busy, but I am here to share a card I made for a few challenges I  like doing when I can.  Quite a few challenges had Father's Day or masculine cards as a theme, so it was fun to be able to put them together.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bordering Blue and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Oxford 6x6 pad.  This is a much simpler style of card than I usually make, but that always seems to work best for masculine cards.  The cute image is digi11304 All Tied Up from QKR Stampede.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some grosgrain ribbon and a simple bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Seems a Little Sketchy #41 (sketch)
QKR Stampede Challenge #42 (ribbon/bows)
Simon Says Stamp Challenge (masculine/Father's Day)

Style is Eternal

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you've made some fun plans for the weekend! I'm looking forward to a little time in my craft room (I hope).  Before getting on with the day, I'm popping in to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme is "fashion".  You can interpret that however you'd like, but you must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Island Indigo and the patterned papers are from the Webster's Pages Trendsetter Petite Papers pack.  The vintage fashion image is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Fashionista Girly Girl set in Paulette's shop here.  The sentiment is from another Create With TLC set called Retail Therapy.   The fun fabric flower is one I received in the amazing blog candy I won from Lori Aragon's blog (thank you, Lori!).  A couple of adhesive gems from my stash finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the "fashionable" creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along!  There are always fantastic prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am also entering my card in the following challenge:

Hugs and Kisses

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  It's been a crazy week, so I'm glad the weekend is nearly here.  I'm popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do when I can.  I'll keep it brief since I need to run out the door pretty soon.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is Sweet Melissa from Kenny K.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I was experimenting with a different hair color I saw mentioned on someone's blog.  Not sure about it, but it was a nice change.  The combo was E59, E19, E08, YR24 and Y26 in case you are interested.  I added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to her pendant and that was it for the image.  I cut her out with my Cameo.  There are a bunch of other Cameo cuts here - the heart square frame and the heart circle frame were freebies from one of my Silhouette groups on-line and the swirly corner were from a free cut file that was generously shared at Bird's Cards. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few pink gems and a couple of Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

That's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by and I'll be by to visit as soon as I get back this afternoon.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Kenny K.'s Krafty  Krew #129 (hearts and flowers)
Basic Grey Challenges #86 (love is in the air)
Polka Doodles #6 (Valentine love)
Stampin' With The Dragon (love is in the air)
Papertake Weekly (anything goes)
Through The Craftroom Door (anything goes)

Little Miss Muffet Challenge

Good morning!  Happy early Thursday!  Sorry I've been MIA, but I've had a few things going on in my world and I haven't had much time to visit my craft room.  I hope to make up for it this weekend!  Anyway, I'm here now with my Little Miss Muffet DT post.   We have a new challenge starting this week.  This time it is a sketch challenge.  What better way to kick start your mojo than with a fun sketch?

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on it:

My card base and mats are GKD Lipstick Red and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Spencer's Bucket Full of Love from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He is available as a rubber stamp, but I used a digi version.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added lots of Red Stickles to the hearts for some extra sparkle.  I cut him out with my Cameo and popped him up on foam tape.  The "Love" sentiment is from the Silhouette store and it was cut out of red glitter paper. I finished my card with two layered paper rosettes from K & Co.

Here is a close-up of Spencer:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful guest designer for February, Shelly!  We sure hope you will play along with us!  You have until Tuesday, February 19 to enter.  If you use either a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft stamp, you can enter with "anything goes" as your theme and you can enter as many times as you'd like.  Otherwise, please follow the theme and enter only once.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
