Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday! Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  We have a fun event coming up on Saturday if it doesn't get rained out.  We finally got some much needed rain last night, but because of the heat, everything dried back up again right away. Maybe we will get a little more in the next few days.  Anyway, before getting on with the day, I am here with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "picnic or barbecue".  You may now use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must still have a colored image on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Blue Denim and the patterned paper is from the Webster's Pages Citrus Squeeze collection.  The fun barbecue image is Big Guy Grilling from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Washi Tape strips in the upper right corner and a bit of Baker's Twine to finish my card. I've got a birthday sentiment inside for special family member.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the fantastic creations from my teammies, Dawn, Penny and Kathi!  We hope you will play along!  We've got a great sponsor for August.  Bombshell Stamps is offering the winner a digi set of their choice.  You'll love their fun retro and vintage images!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Seems A Little Sketchy #70 (sketch)
MarkerPop Challenge #49 (anything goes)
Digi Galore Challenge (anything goes)
Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #16 (summer food)

Sketch Saturday #304

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  It poured down rain most of yesterday, but we might catch a break today before it pours again Sunday and Monday.  The trees and flowers sure love it even if I don't!  They are looking so pretty these days!  Anyway, I'm here with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday challenge.  We are sponsored by Mo's Digital Pencil this time and Mo has generously offered a $5 voucher for her store to three lucky winners!  How good is that?

Here is the awesome sketch from Lesley:

Here is my take on it:

My card base and mats are SU Melon Mambo and the patterned papers are from DCWV Birthday Wishes Stack 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Veronica from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics. I added a bit of Stickles here and there for some added sparkle. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some chevron ribbon and a button finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  The weekend is nearly here!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am starting to feel better, so I know the weekend will be better than during the week.  Before getting on with my day, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme for this last week of the month is the ever-popular "anything goes" with the option to make it a Christmas creation.  Don't forget, you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye All is Bright 6x6 pad.  The precious image is In The Manger from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find it in Mo's shop here.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some splashes of Shabby White Fran-Tage for some texture and sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added fancy corners cut with my Cameo using a free cut file from SVG Cuts. I embellished them with fancy pearl accents.  Some pretty lace finished the outside of my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Although I don't usually, I decorated the inside of my card, too.  Here is the inside:

I used another design from the same patterned paper pad and a sentiment frame made with my Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles dies.  The sentiment on the inside is from JustRite Stampers Christmas Nested Sentiments. I don't think these old style stamps are available anymore.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the lovely creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will be inspired to play along!  It is your last chance to get in on the prize offered by our September sponsor, Digistamps 4 Joy.  One randomly-chosen participant in this month's challenges will win 5 digis of their choice from the DS4J shop!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp #175 (Kim's sketch)
Twisted Tuesday Challenge #59 (Challenge: splatter; Twist: at least two words)
Charisma Cardz Challenge #38 (decorate the inside)
Crafts-Too Challenge You #3 (Theme: texture; Twist 2-add something shiny or glittery; I used Fran-Tage)

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and like me, you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am enjoying time with close friends again this weekend, so I won't have much time on the computer, but I've got a few things pre-posted so if Mr. Blogger cooperates, you will still be seeing my cards.  Today I am sharing my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "back to school".  You can interpret the theme as you wish, but your project must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).  The kids are already back to school in my neighborhood.  Seems strange to see the buses again!  Wasn't it just June?

Here is my back-to-school card:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy Boy 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Dundee from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed him on MiC Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Hurray, Hurray School Today set in Paulette's store here.  A couple of buttons from my stash with Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine bows finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Alcohol Marker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's been a crazy week for me, but I am hoping for a little downtime over the weekend!  Maybe I can even make it into my craft room for a bit.  Anyway, right now, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Marker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  Our theme this week is "weddings/anniversaries".  You can make anything you like with that theme, but your project must have coloring with alcohol markers.

Here is my card:

I made a center step card with a base and mats of SU Soft Sky and patterned paper from the Basic Grey Cappella collection.  My wedding image is Married from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of sparkle to her dress, shoes and veil with Star Dust Stickles.  The frame was made with Cheery Lynn's Polynesian Sails Oval die.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A bunch of Wild Orchid Crafts roses, a silk ribbon bow and a few pearl sprays finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you are ready for a fun weekend ahead!  I'm still dealing with things other than crafting right now, so I have to keep this brief, but I wanted to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "cute and cuddly".  You can interpret this as you wish, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 pad.  The darling image is Freddy from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a few white pearl accents with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some Bermuda Bay dotted ribbon and a few buttons from my stash finished my card.

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and the weekend holds fun plans for you!  After all the hot and sunny days, we got a few strong storms last night.  Luckily, they were not as bad as predicted.  Things have cooled down some now and I'm hoping when I go out, the pollen will have been washed away with the rain.

I'm here, as always on  Fridays, with my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Out theme this week is "winged things".  You can interpret that as you wish, but your image must be colored with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are a purple from my stash and the patterned papers are from the Memory Box Viola 6x6 pack.  The beautiful fairy is Fairy Tabia from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Aqua Stickles to the stars on her dress and headband, Purple Stickles to her shoes and Glossy Accents to the bubbles.  I cut her out with my Cameo and popped her up on Spellbinders Lacy Circles and Classic Circles diecuts.  A triple-loop bow of green seam binding and three Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT!  Sadly, our friend and teammie, Linda Payne, has had to step down from the DT for now, but we are happy to have Jen Leeflang join our group starting with this challenge.  We hope you will inspired to play along this week!  This month's challenges are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps.  One randomly-selected participant in our April challenges will win 5 digistamps of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps Store.  There are also lots of site-wide monthly prizes to be won when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

'Tis The Season

Good morning!  Happy Friday! Hope you've had a good week!  The weekend is nearly upon us and for those that celebrate, I wish you a wonderful Easter!  It's going to be a busy day and weekend, but before getting into all that, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this time is the ever-popular "anything goes" and as we've done every week this year, we are offering up a Christmas twist for those that want to get a jumpstart on their Christmas cards.  Please remember that your project must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

Given the predicament I found myself in last Christmas, I am definitely taking advantage of the Christmas twist. My card base and mats are SU Gumball Green and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Festivus and Bright Christmas 6x6 pads.  The adorable image is Little Elf Mim from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some shine to the silver accents with my Silver Spica pen.   The sentiment was cut out in pieces from the patterned paper.  A dimensional sticker from my stash and some "pearls" around the frame made with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out Copic/ProMarker Challenge and feast your eyes on the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT!  I know you will be inspired to play along!  Besides, there are always awesome prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Luck of the Irish

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  The weather is supposed to be gorgeous here this weekend and I'm really looking forward to some outdoors time.  Right now, though, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "green/St Patrick's Day".  Choose the holiday, the color or both, but don't forget you have to have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are cardstock from my stash so I'm not sure of the brand or color.  The glittery plaid patterned paper is from Michael's.  In addition, I punched two scalloped borders from different shades of green glitter papers.  The cute image is Little Irish Dancer from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Crystal Stickles to her underskirt to make it sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Feel The Green Set in Paulette's store here. Some sparkly green ribbon and a few green pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out the fantastic green creations from the rest of the DT over at the Copic/ProMarker Challenge.  We hope you'll have a chance to play along!  There are always fabulous prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  Take care all of you in the path of yet another big winter storm.  It's been raining a lot here, but at least it's not snow!  Before I head out for the day, I'm here to post my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge on the The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is the ever-popular "anything goes".  As always for the last challenge of the month, we are offering a Christmas twist.  If you'd like to get a jump start on your Christmas cards, this is a perfect way to do it!

Here is my card:

I decided to do a fancy fold and settled on a center step card.  My card base is SU Soft Sky and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye All is Bright 6x6 pad.  My beautiful image is In The Manger from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I cut it out with my Cameo and popped it up on foam tape.  I added a bunch of stars that were cut from GKD Good As Gold with my Cameo.  The cut file for the filigree stars is from Krewella Kreations and the star border file is from Bird's Cards.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  To finish my card, I added a couple of musical notes cut with my Cameo using a file from the Silhouette store (I think).

Here is a side view of the center step card:

And finally, a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to head over to the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the beautiful creations from the rest of the DT.  We hope you will find time to play along with us.  Our February challenges are being sponsored by "yours truly". Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I'm popping in early with my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "anything goes", but we have an optional twist this year for the last challenge of the month and that is to create a card with a Christmas theme.  What better way to get a head start on your Christmas projects?  I don't know about you, but I was complaining a lot in December about having waited until the last minute for my cards!  I'm all over this option for the challenge!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Mistletoe 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Little Elf Finn from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added Red and Silver Stickles here and there for some sparkle.  I used my Letraset Silver Metallic pen for the ornament top and Glossy Accents on the holly berries.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.

Here is a close-up of Little Elf Finn:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along this week!  The January challenges are being sponsored by our very own DT sistah, Dawn.  Dawn is offering a $15 GC to Etsy to one randomly-selected participant in the challenges this month.   There are also lots of fabulous site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!
