Little Miss Muffet Challenge #60

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Is it possible that another whole week has rolled by?  It certainly is hard to believe, but indeed, it is Thursday and time for my weekly DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We have a new challenge starting today and the theme is "pieced off".  We want to see some paper-piecing on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Ginger from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. She is part of the Sugar 'n Spice Dolls collection.  I used a digi version and printed her twice, once on Make it Colour Blending Card and once on another patterned paper from the same pad as the background layers.  I colored her with my Copics and paper-pieced her scrubs. I added white polka dots to her headband and silver accents to her clipboard, instruments and name badge with a Letraset Metallic Marker. I cut her out with my Cameo and popped her up on a Spellbinders Lacey Circles diecut.  I used my SU Scallop Edge Punch for the horizontal panel.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some Ice White Pearl Pen accents, a few blooms and three gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the fabulous paper-pieced creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful guests, Jen, Kimberly, Yoshira and Petra!  You have until Tuesday, May 14, to enter your project.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft image, you can enter as "anything goes" and enter as many times as you'd like.  If not, please follow the theme and enter only once.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Friday Sketch Challenge #42 (sketch)
Tammy's Scrapin' Corner #60 (lots of layers)
The Cutie Pie Challenge #43 (lots of layers)
Love to Create Challenge #63 (punches and/or dies)

Little Miss Muffet Challenge

Good morning!  Happy early Thursday!  Sorry I've been MIA, but I've had a few things going on in my world and I haven't had much time to visit my craft room.  I hope to make up for it this weekend!  Anyway, I'm here now with my Little Miss Muffet DT post.   We have a new challenge starting this week.  This time it is a sketch challenge.  What better way to kick start your mojo than with a fun sketch?

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on it:

My card base and mats are GKD Lipstick Red and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Spencer's Bucket Full of Love from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He is available as a rubber stamp, but I used a digi version.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added lots of Red Stickles to the hearts for some extra sparkle.  I cut him out with my Cameo and popped him up on foam tape.  The "Love" sentiment is from the Silhouette store and it was cut out of red glitter paper. I finished my card with two layered paper rosettes from K & Co.

Here is a close-up of Spencer:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT and our wonderful guest designer for February, Shelly!  We sure hope you will play along with us!  You have until Tuesday, February 19 to enter.  If you use either a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft stamp, you can enter with "anything goes" as your theme and you can enter as many times as you'd like.  Otherwise, please follow the theme and enter only once.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Merry 6x6 pad.  My adorable Elisabeth Bell image is Winter Penelope from Sweet Peas Stamps.  She was stamped on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored with my Copics.  I added lots of sparkle with Stickles, Ice Glitter and Recollections Tinsel Glitter (on her ear muffs).  I used Polar White Flower Soft for the fluffy snow she is standing in.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was from Paulette's fabulous Winter Club.    I added lots of layered snowflakes punched from white glitter paper to finish my card.

Here is a close-up of Penelope:

Star of Bethlehem

Hi there!  It's me again finally!  Sorry that my posts have been very sporadic, but I am not having much luck squeezing in crafting time with everything else going on in my world right now.   However, I did manage to finish I card I had in the works, so I'm popping by to post it here.  I created another Christmas card for my stash and did it in non-traditional colors, which was the theme of quite a few challenges recently.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Not Quite Navy and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Snowfall 6x6 pad.  My pretty Christmas image is from Elisabeth Bell.  It is Belles 'n Whistles Star of Bethlehem.   I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it in very non-traditional Christmas colors with my Copics.  I added Gold and Mystic Green Stickles here and there for some added sparkle.  I also added White Opal Liquid Pearls to the holly berries and the pom poms on the little one's slippers.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the recent Winter Club that Paulette shared.  A triple-loop Not Quite Navy taffeta bow and a star punched from gold/bronze glitter paper finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to find a block of time tomorrow to visit your blogs!  Sorry for not visiting you more regularly lately.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Textiles

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week!  Sorry I've been MIA again, but I have a family member who's been ill and there has not been any extra time for crafting or blogging.  Still, I couldn't miss my DT post for the new Little Miss Muffet Challenge! Yes, we have a new challenge starting this week and the theme is "textiles" - use fabric, lace, yarn, etc. on your creation.  There are so many possibilities for this one!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Blue Bayou and the patterned paper is from the K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Christmas 12x12 pad.  I love that these papers can create a scene all on their own.  For my textiles, I cut and stitched a scrap of white felt over the snow in the scene to add dimension.  The cute winter image is Saffron from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  She was a freebie last year and I think she was my first LMM stamp!  I fell in love with all of the cute images at LMM and the rest is history!  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Stardust and Gun Metal Stickles to her skirt and coat buttons, White Opal Liquid Pearls to the pom poms on her scarf, and some white glitter to her hat brim and muff.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Enjoy The Snow set in Paulette's store here.  A few Jolee's sparkly snowflake stickers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Saffron:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the awesome creations from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer for the challenge, Shari!  You have until Tuesday, November 27 to enter the challenge.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp, you can enter with "anything goes" as your theme.  We hope you will play along!

And we also have a little bit of Little Miss Muffet Store news. Barbara will be heading out of town for several days. Therefore:
1. As digi orders will be slightly delayed, all digi orders will also receive a new, unrevealed, winter-themed digi image

2. Rubber and diecut orders will be shipped out on 27th November and will receive a free sentiment stamp. You can choose from Royal Decree or Sugar & Spice Sentiment. Please e-mail Barbara with your choice of free stamp at the time of ordering

This offer applies to any order placed between November 15-26 at Midnight, Central Time.

Haunting

Hi there!  Happy Wednesday!  We're halfway to the weekend - how good is that?  This week is just as crazy as last so far, but I did manage to put together a card for a few challenges.  It is absolutely my last Halloween card for this year!  It is for Kenny K. Kelly Panacci Halloween).  The fun Halloween image is Trixxie Treat from Kenny K.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles to her hat ornaments, ribbon tie, garter and the candy in the pumpkin.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Beware Halloween set which you can find in Paulette's store here.  A couple of glittery spider web corners, also from last year's stash, and a few 3D glitter dots from this year finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Trixxie:
