Here is my card:
This time I went with a more subdued color palette since I was making a sympathy card. I started with a card base of SU Ruby Red and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Rosy 6x6 pad. I stamped the small camellia from Stately Flowers 2 twice on Cryogen White and colored them with Copics. I added some Gold Liquid Pearls dots to the flower centers. They were cut out and popped up on foam tape. I added a doily made with the Cheery Lynn Polynesian Sails Oval die. Everything was sponged with a little Antique Linen Distress Ink. A few adhesive pearls finished off my card.
I used the Mojo Monday 222 sketch for my layout and the colors from the Colour Create Challenge #87 (red, sage green and cream).

ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful Carla. I love that layout and you did a beautiful job with the flowers. Great sympathy card. They are hard to make, I think.
ReplyDeleteThis card is beautiful, Carla! I love the colors and how they compliment one another. Nice job! Looking forward to the HFC hop on Jan. 31st.
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Carla. You've got a great mix of papers and the camellia, of course, is beautiful. That's also a great sketch you used.
