I printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is a rubber stamp from my stash.  A few wooden embellishments and some Rose Pearl Pen accents finished my card.

Melissa's Balloon

Hi again!  I'm back with a second quick post today.  I realized that I hadn't yet shared my GD inspiration with this month $1 digi over in the Make it Crafty Facebook group.  Every month, there is a new digi from the Make it Crafty store that is only $1 if you are a member of the Facebook group and pick up the special code.   That alone is a great reason to join the group, but you also get lots of inspiration from the DT and fans, fun chats and heads-up on some special events and sales.  What are you waiting for?  Pop over and join up, if you haven't already.

This month's $1 is Melissa's Balloon.  She is such a cutie! I just love her expression!  The Make it Crafty store is temporarily closed while Zoe adds some new features and images so I can't link up Melissa's Balloon for you, but I will come back and update the links as soon as the store re-opens. There was also a little "challenge" issued in the FB group to color this digi using the no lines/light lines technique.  Of course, I had to give it a go. It would have downright rude of me not to!   I also gave my Melissa curly hair for the hard part of this month's Make it Colourful Challenge #10.   Phew!  That was a lot to take on at once, at least for me!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Island Indigo and the patterned papers are from the October Afternoon Woodland Park 8x8 pad.  I printed Melissa's Balloon on MiC Blending Card with very light lines using the washout effect in Word, then colored her with my Copics.  As you can see, I definitely need a lot more practice with this technique!  A simple olive satin bow was all I added to finish my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E53, E35, E57
Dress and shoes: RV10, R81, R83, R85, BG000, BG02, BG05, BG07
Balloon: RV10, R81, R83, R85

Thanks for stopping by again!  I'll pop around in a bit to visit a little until I can't sit any longer.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Mon Amie

Hi there!  It's me again!  I'm back with a super quick post that I forgot to do earlier in the week. I am excited to tell you I am Guest Designing with the Make it Crafty Facebook team again this month! Many thanks to the wonderful Zoe for inviting me back again!   I made a card for a couple of fun things going on in the Make it Crafty world.  The June FB Challenge is to make "something girly" and the Make it Colourful #10 Easy Challenge is to use pink and brown.   Make it Crafty is also sponsoring The Squirrel and The Fox Challenge #70 for 4 weeks.  Their theme is "let's hear it for the girls".  All works perfectly together, doesn't it?  You won't want to miss out on all the fun!

Here is my pink and brown, girly card:

My card base and mats are SU Chocolate Chip and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Madison Avenue 6x6 pad.  The chic image is Artistic Delphine from Make it Crafty. I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is an old SU stamp.  A few chocolate pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by again!   I'm heading out the door, but I will visit with you a little later when I get home.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
The Squirrel and The Fox #70 (let's hear it for the girls)

My card base and mats are SU Buckaroo Blue and the patterned paper is from the Webster's Pages Spring Market Petite Papers pack. The $1 digi for May is Edna and Ali Gardening.  I merged it with one of the pre-made country scenes called Country View Scene.  I printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of Yellow Stickles to the flower centers and Glossy accents to Edna's glasses.  A simple stitched ribbon bow finished my card.

Hi there!  Happy Wednesday!  Can it possibly be that the week is halfway over already?  Time is certainly zipping by and without much for me to show for it!  At least I do have one project to share with you today.  I am delighted to say that the lovely Zoe invited me to stay on as GD for the month of May over on the Make it Crafty Facebook page!  Of course, I am thrilled to design along with the super-talented team for another month!  Here is my first inspiration project for this month.  It is for MiC FB Challenge #9, which is a photo inspiration challenge.  Those are always fun!

Here is the inspiration photo:

Geeky Love - New Baby

Hi again!  I'm back with a second quick post today.  If you are looking for my Ditzie Digi Design DT post, click here or scroll down one post.  I am back to share some inspiration for the Make it Crafty FB group.  I couldn't have been happier when Zoe invited me to stay on as GD for another month!
Today, I've created with some of the fantastic new images!  Did you see that the Make it Crafty Geeky Love couple have had a baby?  The new images take us on the next step of their journey from courtship, to marriage, and now the start of their family!

Here is my project.  I made another card in a box, so I'll show you a few different views.

I used cut files from the Silhouette Store on my Cameo for the box design, the baby items and the Sweet Baby sentiment.  The patterned paper is from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy Girl 6x6 pad. The two images are Geeky Love Baby and Geeky Love New Parents from Make it Crafty. I printed them on MiC Blending Card and colored them with my Copics.  I fussy cut them by hand and popped them on the box.

Here is a close-up of the images on the box:

and finally, a close-up of the colored images alone:

Thanks for stopping by!   I'm going to catch up on a few things then come around to visit.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
