It's All About The Cake

Hello, friends!  Happy Wednesday!  Hope the first half of your week has been great and the rest will be even better!  It continues to be busy around here, but I did manage to finish up a card today that I'm here to share with you.  It is for the Lili of The Valley Birthday Competition.  LOTV is turning 9 and they are celebrating with lots of fun events, including this competition.  Be sure to check out the LOTV's Ideas to Inspire blog for all the details!

Here is my birthday card:

My card base and mats are SU Tempting Turquoise and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Hip Hooray collection.  The adorable image is Rosie With Cake from the Girlie section of the Lili of The Valley store.  I stamped her on Make it Colour Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored her with my Copics. I cut her out and popped her up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.   I used my Cameo to cut a zig zag border out of turquoise holographic paper and added a couple of holographic present stickers from Jolee's.  It was really hard to get a good pic of the holographic stuff - sorry! You probably can't tell, but one present is pink and the other is orange. A bit of Lime Green and Orange Stickles finished my card.

Happy New Home

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  I'm still having a little trouble getting back into a routine, but I'm getting there.  I'm popping in this morning to share a card I made to showcase Little Miss Muffet rubber stamps, which are now also available for purchase at Oozak. You get the same great pricing, selection and awesome customer service you are used to when ordering any of your crafty supplies from Rusty!  Today, Barbara, Deb and I, from the Little Miss Muffet DT, have our projects featured on the Oozak Challenge blog!

Here is my card featuring Celeste Amberglow Flowerpot, one of the Honeycloud Teens from Pollycraft:

My card base and mats are SU Pretty in Pink and my patterned papers are from the Echo Park So Happy Together 6x6 pad, which is also available from Oozak.  I stamped Celeste Amberglow Flowerpot with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles to her headband, dress and the flower centers.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few hearts and dots punched from pink glitter cardstock finished my card.
