Here is this week's sketch by Alex:

And here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned paper is from the October Afternoon Cakewalk 8x8 pad.  The sweet image is Lunar Deity from Art by MiRan.  I colored her with my Copics and added Star Dust Stickles to the little stars.  I punched two larger stars from Aqua glitter paper and added them as my only embellishment.  Nice and simple this time!

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am really tired this morning.  We were woken by a weather alert call at 3:30 AM.   There were severe thunderstorms in the area.  We got lots or rain and thunder and lightning, but all is well today, thankfully.  It's supposed to rain all day today, too, but we need the rain, so no complaints from me.  Anyway, I am here now with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "Alice in Wonderland" in honor of Mad Hatter Day, which is on Monday.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but your project must have a hand-colored image related to Alice in Wonderland.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned paper is from the Fancy Pants A Taste of Spring collection.  Too bad I covered up all the cute little tea sets on the paper!  The image is Alice & White Rabbit from Make it Crafty.  I colored it with my Copics, of course.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added a few playing cards that I cut with my Cameo.  A striped ribbon bow and a little clock charm finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the fantastic projects from Laine, Penny and Kathi and our Guest Designer for October, Joan.  Dawn is on a break this month.  We hope you will play along!  The October challenges are being sponsored by Karleigh Sue Digis.  Cheri is offering the lucky winner a $10 GC to her Karleigh Sue Digis Etsy shop. Be sure to check out her cute digis!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
MarkerPop Challenge #53 (anything goes)
Crafty Girls Challenge #28 (anything goes)
Creative Fingers Challenge #51 (anything goes)

Have a great day and I will be around to visit after I get back from having my card serviced.

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I' back, albeit late, with my DT post for the Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Normally, I would post tomorrow morning, but I've got a couple of special posts coming up tomorrow, so I am posting this tonight.  Our theme this week is "color inspiration".  You don't have to match the colors exactly, but we want to be able to recognize the color palette on your project.  You may use any coloring medium you'd like as long as you have a hand-colored image.

Here is the color inspiration, courtesy of Design Seeds:

Here is my card based on the colors:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic "Nutmeg" 6x6 pad. The fun images are from the Best Friends digi set from Vera Lane Studios.  I merged the two girls together and colored them with my Copics.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I printed it out and cut it up before placing it.  A few opaque gems finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the fabulous creations from my teammies, Dawn, Penny, Kathi and Laine!  We hope you will play along!  Our September challenges are sponsored by Vera Lane Studios and the winner will receive one of the digi sets you've seen us showcasing throughout the month.
