Special Friend

Hi there!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  It's been rainy and dreary here, but at least it's warm.  Spring is definitely in the air!  I'm popping in to share the card I made for a couple of challenges I like to do when I can.  It is for The Paper Players #86 (color challenge), Simon Says Stamp Challenge (Mother's Day/special girl) and The Paper Shelter Challenge (anything goes).

Here is the color inspiration from Lesley at The Paper Players:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I chose the "special girl" option for the Simons Says challenge.  I started with a card base of SU Pear Pizzazz and layered with glittery patterned paper from the Best Creations A Walk In The Garden 6x6 pad.   I was thrilled to find all the colors I needed in this sheet from the pad.  My sweet image is Zoe Spring from The Paper Shelter.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with Copics.   The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  My only embellishment was a few roses from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by!  I always appreciate your visits and kind comments!  Have a great day and hope to see you again soon!

Another Challenge Card

Good morning!  How's your week going so far?  It's been raining here since Sunday, so although it's pretty warm, it's not very conducive to being outside, that's for sure.  Before I head out anyway, I'm here to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I like to do.  It's for The Paper Shelter Challenge #45 (anything goes), Crafty Emma's Store Challenge #67 (anything goes) and Sketch Saturday #189.

Here is SS-189:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of SU Rich Razzleberry and layered with patterned papers from the Prima Melody 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is Spring Swing from The Paper Shelter.  She can be found in the store here.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with Copic markers.  My sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was a freebie on the Create With TLC blog awhile back.  A satin bow and some pink adhesive rhinestones finished off my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day and hope to see you soon.

One Last Christmas Card

Hi there!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  It's been busy here so far, but I relieved to have all my mailing done.  I thought I was completely done with Christmas cards, but I thought of one more I needed so I called on a few challenges I like to do to give me the inspiration to get it done.  My card is for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge (a sketch), Basic Grey Challenges #59 (anything goes) and the Craft Your Passion Holiday Havoc Blog Hop Challenge (create a holiday project with at least one digital stamp).

Here is the Simon Says Stamp sketch:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a 5 1/2" sqaure card base of GKD Lipstick Red and layered with patterned paper from the Basic Grey Jovial 6x6 pad.  I added some velvet trims from various of the Webster's Pages Trim Cards. My adorable image is a digi from The Paper Shelter called Cookies For Santa.  I printed it on Cryogen White and colored it with Copics.  I added a bunch of Stickles to the decorations on the tree and some Glossy Accents to the glass of milk and the tree pot.  The image was cut out and matted with Spellbinders Petite Oval Nestabilities.  A couple of Basic Grey buttons from my stash and 3 Jolee's shimmery poinsettia stickers finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm not sure how often I'll have a chance to post this week, but for sure, I'll be back on Friday with my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz!  Have a great night!

Color Me Creative Classroom Copic Challenge

Hi there!  Happy Cyber Monday!  Have you been shopping and taking advantage of all the great deals out there?  I've been so busy today I haven't even had a chance to look!  Maybe later... Right now I am popping in to share the card I created for the current Copic Challenge (#32) on Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom site.  The challenge this time is mulit-colored hair or non-traditional hair colors.  My card is also for this week's Sketch Saturday challenge.

Here is my card for both challenges:

I started with a card base of GKD Black Onyx and layered with patterned papers from the Glitz Designs Plum Crazy collection.  My fun image is called Gothika from The Paper Shelter. I colored her with Copics, of course.  I went with purple for my non-traditional hair color. Although it's kind of hard to see, after coloring, I added some sparkly highlights to her hair, her lips and the hardware on her clothes and boots with Spica pens.  The sentiment is from an older SU set.  All of the panels were cut out with either Petite Ovals or Classic Circle Nestabilities.  I added a bit of black mesh for one of the sketch elements.  A few black rhinestones finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I really appreciate your visits!  Hope to see you tomorrow morning for the Heartfelt Creations Design Team Alumni Blog Hop.   I'm sure you will love what the group has in store for you!

Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  TGIF!  I hope you've got fun things planned for the weekend!  It's supposed to be quite chilly here, but still nice.  I love the crisp fall days!  Anyway, I'm popping in bright and early to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  This week's theme is "Goth" - however you'd like to interpret that.

Here is my Goth card:

I chose this cute image called Gothika from The Paper Shelter.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored with Copics.  I sponged the sky with Tim Holtz Stormy Sky Distress ink.  The image was cut out and matted with Spellbinders Labels Two dies.  The background panels were cut out with Spellbinders Curved Rectangles.  The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Black Tie collection. My only embellishments were a bit of metallic mesh from Webster's Pages Hollywood Vogue Trim Card and a few silver rhinestones in the corners.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz and check out the fabulous projects from my amazingly talented teammies and our wonderful November Guest Designer, Lorraine!  We'd love it if you played along with us!  We always love seeing your creations and you have the chance to win some awesome prizes when you enter our challenges!

Have a great day!

Card For A Few Challenges

Hi there!  Hope you're doing well today!  I found a little time for crafting before I head out to a few appointments.  I was happy to have a chance to make a card for a few challenges out there.  My card is for this week's Sketch Saturday #179, Simon Says Stamp Challenge (use buttons; Basic Grey optional)) and The Paper Shelter Challenge #38 (Christmas fun).

Here is the Sketch Saturday sketch:

Here is my card for all three challenges:

I started with a card base of GKD Lipstick Red and layered with patterned papers from the Basic Grey Jovial 6x6 pad.   For the "Christmas fun" theme, I chose to use this adorable image from The Paper Shelter called Cookies For Santa.  Could this little girl be any cuter?  I printed the image on Cryogen White Iridescent and colored with Copic markers.  I added Glossy Accents to the glass of milk and the tree pot.  I added some sparkle to the tree ornaments with Stickles.    The whole image was cut out and popped up over the matted half-oval panel that I cut out with Spellbinders Scallop and Classic Petite Oval Nestabilities.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the lower panel.  A few Basic Grey buttons and a sheer bow finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I really appreciate it when you visit!  Have a great day!
