Little Miss Muffet Challenge #81 - Doilies and Lace

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you have a good week so far!  I've got my fingers crossed that Mr. Blogger doesn't mess with me today and my scheduled post goes off without a hitch.  It's time for this week's DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We have a brand new challenge for you today.  The theme for Challenge #81 is "doilies and lace".   That's not so hard, is it?  I see a few of you rolling your eyes!   Really, it's a piece of cake, just go for it!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Collectable "Notable" 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Swings 'n Slides Birdies by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored it with my Copics and added a cloudy sky as a backdrop.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches My Peeps stamp set.  A paper doily and some narrow lace from my stash finished my card.

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the upcoming weekend!  I hope to finish up my craft room and then strive to keep it neat and organized!  I know hubby will be thrilled once his part of the "project" is done!  Anyway, I am here with the first of two posts today to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is another color inspiration.  We've been enjoying adding in one of these here and there.  Please know that the color palette shown is just a guide.  You do not have to match every color exactly.  We just want to see the general color scheme on your project.  You must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) to enter.

Here is the color inspiration:

Here is my take on it:

My card base is SU Not Quite Navy and the solid patterned papers are from the Authentique Winter and Basic Grey What's Up 6x6 pads.  The gorgeous image is Icy Snow Queen by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff of AuroraWings. Mitzi is our sponsor this month and she shared one of her beautiful images with each of the DT members to use for the challenges.  This is the one I chose.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics in the inspiration color palette.  For embellishments, I only added the icy bling corners. I added Icicle Stickles to finish my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will find time to play along this week!  One lucky participant in our January challenges will win a $10 GC toward the purchase of digis of their choice from Mitzi's AuroraWings Etsy shop.  You'll definitely want to be in the running for this fantastic prize!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion Challenge #196 (cool colors)
Papertake Weekly (new stash; my digi is new)
Stamps by AuroraWings January Facebook Challenge (your favorite colors; these are mine)

Have a great day and I will be back a little later with my GDT card for The Digi Bells blog hop! Hope to see you again then.

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you are ready for a fun weekend ahead!  I'm still dealing with things other than crafting right now, so I have to keep this brief, but I wanted to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "cute and cuddly".  You can interpret this as you wish, but please remember you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 pad.  The darling image is Freddy from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a few white pearl accents with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some Bermuda Bay dotted ribbon and a few buttons from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the adorable creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along!  The May challenges are being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink.  One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win their choice of three digistamps from the 2 Cute Ink store.

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  It's been unseasonably cold here, but hopefully we will see a touch of Spring at the end of the week and over the weekend.  Since it's Thursday, you know I'm here to share my Little Miss Muffet DT card.  This week was "anything goes" for the DT.  We wanted to share some of our favorite images and designs for your inspiration. Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Lavender and Mint Green from a retired Spring Assortment and the patterned papers are from the Best Creations A Walk In The Park 6x6 pack.  The cute Easter image is Celeste Amberglow Egg Hunt from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Stickles to the eggs in her basket and some polka dots to her top, socks and hair bows with my Sharpie White Paint pen.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  The banner was cut with Little Miss Muffet Party Banner Die.  A lavender satin bow and a few Wild Orchid Crafts Roses finished my card.

OK, on to my card.  This one was so fun to create!

My card base and mats are SU Pumpkin Pie and the patterned papers are from last year's K & Co. I added a bunch of Stickles (Crystal, Purple, Lime Green and Orange) to make them sparkle a little.  The cute sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Beware Halloween set in Paulette's store here.  Some wide satin ribbon, a few gems and a glittery spider web corner finished off my card.

Diva

Hi there!  Are you having a good Wednesday?  Only two days until the weekend - gotta love that!  We are so fortunate to not have had any real effects of Isaac here.  We haven't had any of the wind and rain that was expected.  I am very grateful for that.  Hope everyone who is in the path of the storm is staying safe.

I am popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do.  It is for Jackson's Digital Expressions #20 (anything goes with an optional sketch), Craft Your Passion #125 (emboss it), Through The Craftroom Door Challenge #33 (diva or anything goes) and Tuesday Throwdown #113 (bold or rarely used colors).

Here is the JDE sketch, which I did use:

Here is my card:

I used SU Brilliant Blue cardstock for my base and mats.  Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a big fan of bright, bold colors and I rarely use them.  And look, NO patterned paper!  I actually can't remember the last time I made a card with no PP!  Instead, I embossed two panels of white cardstock, one with the Cuttlebug Kassie's Brocade folder and the other with a Sizzix folder called Damask.  My elegant image is Diva from Fine Arts by Robert Jackson.  You can find it in the Females section of Robert's store here.  I printed her on X-Press It and colored her with my Copics (dress: B28, B26, B24, B21) I added Star Dust Stickles to her wrap to make it sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC. It is part of the Glitter and Glam Digi Stamp set in Paulette's store here.  A double-loop satin bow and a Webster's Pages Sparkler finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of your day and hope to see you soon!Photobucket

Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's still very hot here, but not quite as bad as last weekend.  I think it's supposed to be only 99 today!  I'm going to be out most of the day, but before I head off, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz.  Have you joined in on the huge 2,000 Member Party yet?  You have one more day to get your entries in for the challenges.  The party closes at midnight tomorrow.  There are some amazing prizes, so be sure to check it out.  We are back to our regular weekly challenges today.  This week's theme is "vacation destination".  We want to see your project that depicts a fun vacation destination.  It can be any type of vacation you'd like, but there must be some coloring with alcohol markers on your creation.

Here is my card for the challenge:

I picked my favorite vacation destination - the beach! Mind you, you'd never see me on the beach in a bikini! I started with a card base of SU Pear Pizzazz and layered with Soft Sky and patterned paper from the Webster's Pages In Love, Palm Beach & Game On Petite Papers pack.  For my beach scene I merged two images from Mo's Digital Pencil - Beach Elements I and Little Umbrella. You can find them in Mo's store here.  I printed the merged image on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored with my Copics. I used my Copic airbrush for the sand, water and sky.  I added a bit of Stickles and Glossy Accents to the main image.

Here is a close-up of the fun image:

My sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.   A few Wild Orchid Crafts aster daisies and a cherry blossom finished my card.

I am also entering my card in Mo's DP2 Challenge #142 (anything goes), Craft Your Passion #117 (chillin' and grillin') and the Tuesday Throwdown #104 (summertime).
