Good morning! Happy Friday! Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend! It's Labor Day weekend here in the States, so there is always something fun going on in the area. Even though the kids are already back to school here, Labor Day weekend has always signified the end of summer to me. Where I grew up, we didn't go back to school until after Labor Day. Anyway, I am here to share my DT card for this week's
Alcohol Markers Challenge on
The Outlawz site. The theme this time is the ever-popular "anything goes" with the
optional twist to make a Christmas card for your stash. You can do anything you'd like, but you must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.
Here is my card:
My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Jillibean Soup Winter Tortellini and Spinach Soup 6x6 pad. My cute image is
Joy from
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. She was another of the fabulous stamps in the blog candy I won from my teammie, Tress, awhile back. I really hit the jackpot with that win! Thanks again, Tress! I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics, The sentiment came with the stamp. A few buttons with twine bows and a taffeta ribbon bow finished my card.
Here is a close-up of the colored image:
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to visit the
Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT. We hope you will play along! It's your last chance to get in the running for the terrific monthly prize! Our August challenges are sponsored by our very own teammie, Dawn, who is offering the winner three digis of their choice from her Etsy shop,
LilyPinkScraps. There are also lots of fantastic site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at
The Outlawz.
I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday #221 (sketch)
Simon Says Stamp Challenge (anything goes)
Through The Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Paper Crafting Journey (anything goes)
Stampin' With The Dragon (buttons and bows)
Here is SSW-221:
Have a great day and see you soon!
