Copic/Promarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  TGIF!  Hope you've had a good week and have fun plans for the weekend!  It sure was busy around here this week, but I'm looking forward to a quieter weekend and maybe even some crafting time!  If you are looking for my Heartfelt Creations Design Team Alumni post, please click here.  You have until midnight tonight to comment for the chance to win a $25 GC to the Heartfelt Creations store.  Winner will be announced tomorrow by noon.

I'm here now to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is Anything Goes/Optional Calendar Page.  As we've done all year on the last Friday of the month, we are offering a free calendar page to download for the challenge.  The link to the page and all the directions for printing it can be found in the CPC thread.  It is completely optional to use the page for the challenge. We were thrilled to be sponsored in April by the talented Mayzy from MayzyArt.  One random winner who has entered our challenges this month will receive 6 digis of their choice from Mayzy's Etsy store.  This is your last week to get in on this fantastic prize!

Here is my card for the challenge:

I started with a card base of GKD Chocolate Brown and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Blush and Bloom 6x6 pads.  My fun image is Shawna With Latte from MayzyArt.  Mayzy generously provided me with this image for the challenge.  You can find her in Mayzy's Etsy store here.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copics.  I cut her out and popped her up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I added a few rose gems to finish off my card.

My card is also for Sketch Saturday #204, Craft Your Passion #107 (photo inspiration) and Colour Create #95 (Rose, Kraft and White).

April Showers...

Good morning!  Can't believe it's Monday again!  Hope your week is getting off to a great start!  I have a busy week planned, but still hope to get some crafting in.  Before I get going, I'm popping in to share the card I made for a few challenges I like to do.  It is for the Saturated Canary Challenge #15 (April showers), Colour Create Challenge #94 (blue, yellow and white), Sketch Saturday #203, Simon Says Stamp Challenge (April showers bring spring flowers) and Challenge #41 on Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom site (color yellows).

Here is SS-203:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of SU So Saffron and layered with patterned papers from the October Afternoon The Thrift Shop and Sidewalks 8x8 pads.   My cute Saturated Canary image is Let it Rain.  You can find her in Krista's Etsy shop.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her mostly in yellows with my Copics (hair: YR24, YR21, YR31, E50; outfit: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y18, Y21).  I added a bit of Stickles and Mint Green Liquid Pearls to her rain boots and umbrella.  My sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A few more dots of Liquid Pearls on the scalloped image mat and that was it.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day and hope to see you again soon!

Treat Me Like a Queen

Hi there!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  I felt like the weekend was way too short!  I'm popping in tonight to share the card I made for a couple of challenges.  It is for the Little Miss Muffet Challenge #31 (silhouettes or anything goes with LMM stamps) and the Colour Create Challenge #92 (Pink, Blue, Sage and White/Cream).

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of SU Not Quite Navy and layered with patterned paper from the Kaisercraft Miss Nelly 6.5 x 6.5 pad.   I printed the Victorian Chaise from Make it Crafty onto Cryogen White and colored it with Copics.  I masked the chaise then airbrushed the background.  The elegant mademoiselle is La Jeune Fille a l'Eventail from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I was lucky to have won this stamp during the special Paris Release.  I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Cryogen and colored her with Copics.  I added some Star Dust Stickles to her hat, fan and brooch and I also added a spot of Pink Liquid Pearls to the brooch center.  I cut her out and popped her up on the chaise.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Some shimmery sheer ribbon, a Webster's Pages Sparkler and a few wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope to see you again soon!

Another Stately Flowers Card

Good morning!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Before I head out, I'm popping in quickly to share another card I made with Melanie Muenchinger's gorgeous new stamp set, Stately Flowers 2.  As soon as I saw it, I knew I would use this set for so many different types of cards!  The beautiful florals and versatile sentiments are perfect together!

Here is my card:

This time I went with a more subdued color palette since I was making a sympathy card.  I started with a card base of SU Ruby Red and layered with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Rosy 6x6 pad.   I stamped the small camellia from Stately Flowers 2 twice on Cryogen White and colored them with Copics.  I added some Gold Liquid Pearls dots to the flower centers.  They were cut out and popped up on foam tape.  I added a doily made with the Cheery Lynn Polynesian Sails Oval die. Everything was sponged with a little Antique Linen Distress Ink.  A few adhesive pearls finished off my card.

I used the Mojo Monday 222 sketch for my layout and the colors from the Colour Create Challenge #87 (red, sage green and cream).

Here is the Mojo sketch:
