Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and you have fun plans for the upcoming weekend!  It's pretty cold here, so my activities will likely be indoors!  Can't wait for it to warm up!  I am off to a late start today, but I am here with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Our theme this week is "fairy tales /myths".  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Smoky Slate and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Dilly Dally 6x6 pad.  The cool fairy tale image is Fearless Fairy Tales Rapunzel from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Since the sketch I used was a bit busy, I didn't add any more embellishments.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  It is pouring down rain here and it's supposed to be like this all weekend.  It's guess it's another weekend for indoor activities. Before getting on with my day, I am here with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.  We are sponsored by Bunny Zoe's Crafts and the prize is a £10 gift certificate for the Bunny Zoe's Crafts shop.

Here is this week's sketch, designed by Debra:

And here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Gumball Green and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Bright Christmas 6x6 pad.  I created the fun Winter scene by merging two digis from Make it Crafty: Jasmine Hot Chocolate and Winter Seat.  I printed the merged image on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I airbrushed the sky with Copic B12.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I didn't add any more embellishments so the scene was the main focus.

Here is a close-up of the scene:

Guest Designer - Art by Mi Ran Blog

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Actually I am still sleeping right now (I hope), but I am here with a card and some exciting news!  First the news!  I was invited to be a Guest Designer for the Art by Mi Ran Showcase blog for the month of December!  Woo hoo!  I am thrilled and honored, of course!  Today, I get to share my first project for the month.  I hope you like it!

I created a multi-layered snowflake-shaped card using my Cameo.  The patterned paper is from one of my Christmas mat stacks.  I love the swirling snow and subtle foil elements on it.  The beautiful image is Princess of Snowflakes from Art by Mi Ran.  I colored her with my Copics then added lots of Star Dust and Icicle Stickles to make the image really sparkle! I also added some regular glitter to her collar. I cut out the image with a Spellbinders Lacey Ovals die.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added two Memory Box Snowflake Corner die cuts and some pretty white lace to finish my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be back in a bit with my Sketch Saturday DT project.  Coincidentally, we are sponsored by Art by Mi Ran, so I will have more ABM inspiration for you later.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown #223 (bling it on)
