Happy Easter

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Yay, it's nearly the weekend!  I'm looking forward to it even though the weather isn't supposed to be that great.  Who knows, maybe the weathermen will be wrong.  I am here now to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this time is "Easter/Spring".  We look forward to seeing all your beautiful Springy creations!  Just remember you must have some coloring with alcohol markers on your project.  Any brand is fine.

Here is my card:

Sorry about the dark pics.  My regular camera is having some issues at the moment and my back-up wasn't charged.  My card base and mats are SU Pale Plum and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Kioshi collection.  My sweet image is Peek-a-Bunny from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her in soft pastels with my Copics.  I sponged in a cloudy sky around her.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some Baby Blue Liquid Pearls around the scalloped frame and some pretty satin flower ribbon finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the beautiful Easter/Spring creations from the rest of the DT.  We hope you'll find time to play along!  You have until next Thursday, March 28th, to link up your project. There are always wonderful prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday #250 (sketch)
Tammy's Scrapin' Corner #54 (Easter)

Hugs and Kisses

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  It's been a crazy week, so I'm glad the weekend is nearly here.  I'm popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do when I can.  I'll keep it brief since I need to run out the door pretty soon.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is Sweet Melissa from Kenny K.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I was experimenting with a different hair color I saw mentioned on someone's blog.  Not sure about it, but it was a nice change.  The combo was E59, E19, E08, YR24 and Y26 in case you are interested.  I added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to her pendant and that was it for the image.  I cut her out with my Cameo.  There are a bunch of other Cameo cuts here - the heart square frame and the heart circle frame were freebies from one of my Silhouette groups on-line and the swirly corner were from a free cut file that was generously shared at Bird's Cards. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few pink gems and a couple of Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

That's it for now.  Thanks for stopping by and I'll be by to visit as soon as I get back this afternoon.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Kenny K.'s Krafty  Krew #129 (hearts and flowers)
Basic Grey Challenges #86 (love is in the air)
Polka Doodles #6 (Valentine love)
Stampin' With The Dragon (love is in the air)
Papertake Weekly (anything goes)
Through The Craftroom Door (anything goes)
Sketch Saturday #244 (sketch)

The Sweetest Person I Know

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope you are having a good day!  It's still pouring rain here, but I can't complain because at least it isn't snow!  Still, I don't really want to go out in it!  Before I brave the elements, I'm here with a quick post to share the card I made for the current Polka Doodles challenge.  There was another fun blog hop this week and again, there was a cute Emma Canning image given as a freebie to use for the challenge. My card is also for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge #139.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Raspberry Ripple and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.  I printed Emma's sweet Cupcake image on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added Star Dust Stickles and Crystal Snow Glitter to the cupcake.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A simple stitched ribbon bow finished my card.

The Sweetest Day

Hi again!  It's me with a quick second post today.  I'm back to share the card I made for the current Polka Doodles challenge.  First, there was a fun blog hop and now the challenge is to make a card using an adorable image by Emma Canning that was shared as a freebie on the Polka Doodles blog to be used for the challenge.

Here is the card I made with the cute image:

My card base and mats are SU Certainly Celery.  The backing paper, heart and roses frame and the sentiment are all from the Studio 12 Picknix Collection Volume 1 from the Polka Doodles shop.  I was lucky enough to have won this CD when I won a Polka Doodles challenge awhile back.  Thanks, Nikky! I merged the paper and frame then printed it on white cardstock.  I printed the sweet Emma Canning image on Make it Color Blending card and colored her with my Copics.  I cut her out and popped her up on foam tape. A satin bow and a few pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of just the image:

OK. That's it for me! Thanks for stopping by again today!  I'm off to do a bit of blog hopping, so hopefully I'll make it by yours soon!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Star of Bethlehem

Hi there!  It's me again finally!  Sorry that my posts have been very sporadic, but I am not having much luck squeezing in crafting time with everything else going on in my world right now.   However, I did manage to finish I card I had in the works, so I'm popping by to post it here.  I created another Christmas card for my stash and did it in non-traditional colors, which was the theme of quite a few challenges recently.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Not Quite Navy and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Snowfall 6x6 pad.  My pretty Christmas image is from Elisabeth Bell.  It is Belles 'n Whistles Star of Bethlehem.   I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it in very non-traditional Christmas colors with my Copics.  I added Gold and Mystic Green Stickles here and there for some added sparkle.  I also added White Opal Liquid Pearls to the holly berries and the pom poms on the little one's slippers.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the recent Winter Club that Paulette shared.  A triple-loop Not Quite Navy taffeta bow and a star punched from gold/bronze glitter paper finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to find a block of time tomorrow to visit your blogs!  Sorry for not visiting you more regularly lately.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Elphine House #32 (Christmas with a twist-non-traditional colors)
Sentimental Sundays #131 (non-traditional Christmas colors)
Color Me Creative Classroom Challenge #57 (non-traditional Christmas colors)
Incy Wincy (non-taditional Christmas colors)
Tammy's Scrapin' Corner #39 (anything Christmas)

The Digi Bells Guest DT

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I have a very busy day ahead, but I am popping in to share the card I made for The Digi Bells Blog.  As one of this month's Guest DTs, it is my turn to showcase one of Elisabeth Bell's adorable digital stamps.  Since I am way behind with making my Christmas cards, that is what I did for today.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Lipstick Red and the patterned paper is from the Recollections Botanical Noel pad.  The sweet image is the new Elisabeth Digital stamp that was released from the vault last week.  She is called Holly's Happy Mail and she is available in the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection here.   I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics in traditional Christmas colors and matted her on some gold mirror card.  I added two Cheery Lynn diecuts (Border Carnivale and Tropical Flourish) cut from the same gold mirror card.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was part of the Winter Club.  I matted that on mirror card, too.  A shimmery poinsettia from Jolee's finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Holly:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit The Digi Bells blog every day for wonderful inspiration from the DT and GDT!  You'll definitely want to check there later today to see if you were a winner from the November Release Blog Hop!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Incy Wincy (Hip To Be Square)
Polka Doodles #47 (Any Die Will Do)
Whimsy Stamps Challenge #53 (traditional Christmas colors)
Paper Crafting Journey (Case a DTCard; I cased Kanda's card, but flipped her sketch)

Here is her card:

You Are So "Boo"-tiful

Hi there!  Happy Saturday!  Hope you are having a good weekend so far!  It's been another busy day, but I managed to sit down and finish a card I had in the works on my desk.  It is for Jackson's Digital Expressions #26 (sketch and Halloween), Polka Doodles #41 (Halloween), The Poodles Parlour (Halloween), Challenge Up Your Life #80 (Halloween/Autumn) and Simon Says Stamp (dies or punches).

Here is the JDE sketch:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the fun Halloween papers are from the K & Co. Kelly Panacci Halloween 12x12 pad.  I punched the picket pence with my Martha Stewart punch and the grass with my Fiskars Grass punch. The big yellow moon was cut with Spellbinders Grand Circle Nestabilities.  My cute image is Felicia Witch with Pumpkin from Guylou's Inimitability. You get three images with this set.  I used the one with the Jack O' Lantern.  I printed her on Neenah Solar White and colored her with my Copics.  I added Orange, Purple, Lime Green and Yellow Stickles to her wings and I used a Letraset Silver Metallic marker for the buckle on her hat.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Beware Halloween set in Paulette's store here.  A few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Felicia:

Thanks for stopping by!  I've had a non-stop day, but I hope to settle down later and come by all your blogs!  Have a great evening!
