Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good afternoon!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and your weekend holds some fun plans!  We are supposed to have thunderstorms and rain most of the weekend, so there won't be many outdoor activities for us, I don't think.  I am here now with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The themes this week is "anything goes" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  The twist is completely optional, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.

Here is my card:

I decided to do the Christmas twist.  No time like the present to get a jump start on Christmas cards!  My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Pink Paislee Noel collection.  The beautiful image is The Gift by Norma J. Burnell available from Sweet Pea Stamps and Norma's Fairy Tangles Art Etsy Shop.  I colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of colors of Stickles for extra sparkle and I also added Gold Liquid Pearls to her necklace and the pearls in her hair.  A triple-loop seam binding bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from my talented teammies!  We hope you will find time to join us for the challenge!  This is the last week to get in on the fabulous prize from our June sponsor, Fairy Tangles Art (Norma J. Burnell).  Norma is offering the lucky winner three digis of their choice from her Fairy Tangles Art Etsy shop.  Go have a look at her awesome artwork!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and you have fun plans for this weekend!  Can't believe we already in the middle of June!  Is time flying by for everyone else, too?  Anyway, I am here with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is a color inspiration.  You can do anything you'd like with the colors, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your projects.  The colors don't have to be an exact match, but we should be able to recognize the general palette.

Here is the color inspiration photo:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Vintage Violet and the patterned papers are from the Authentique Original 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Blue Star Angel by Karen Middleton from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics and then added a bit of Stickles to her halo and the star.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some ivory satin ribbon and a few Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and you have fun plans for the upcoming weekend!  I'm looking forward to a little extra down time this Memorial Day weekend.  Right now I am here with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "music".  It can be anything to do with music, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the patterned papers are from the Prima Lyric collection.  The beautiful image is Melody by Joanne Schempp.  It was available previously from Sweet Pea Stamps, but I don't see it in the shop right now, so it must be retired.  I colored it with my Copics and added a bit of Diamond Stickles to the little fairy's wings and Liquid Pearls around the flowers in her hair.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A triple-loop seam binding bow and a Wild Orchid Crafts rose finished my card.

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and you have fun plans for the upcoming weekend!  We've got a lot going on this weekend so I probably won't be around much.  Hopefully, the weather will clear up and it will be nice for the weekend! Speaking of weather, that is why I am so late posting today!  We've had strong thunderstorms all morning and I didn't want to have the computer on.  They seem to have calmed down now, so hopefully, I'll get this posted and get on with the day. I am here with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "April/Spring showers".  Very appropriate for my day!  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Ruby Red and the fun patterned papers are from my stash.  Sorry, but I can't remember the brand or collection.  The image is Raining Stars by Elaine Cox from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some stitched ribbon, a crocheted flower and a button finished my card.

Make it Colourful Challenge #18

Hi again!  I am back with a second post today.  If you are looking for my DoveArt Blog Hop post, please click here or scroll down one post. I am back now with my DT post for the new Make it Colourful Challenge.  The challenge for this month is "color on Kraft with pink".  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must color on Kraft paper.  If you haven't done this before, it's a great chance to try something new!  I had only tried coloring on Kraft once before, so it was something different for me, too.  As always, the fabulous Make it Crafty DT has plenty of amazing inspiration for you on the Make it Colourful blog.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Primrose Petals and the patterned papers are from the Authentique Uncommon 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Penny In Love, one of the newly-released Love Collection from Make it Crafty.  I colored her on Kraft with Prismacolor Pencils.  I definitely need more practice with this technique, but trying something new is what these challenges are all about!  The chipboard sentiment is from the Doodle Love Words Chipboard set, also new from Make it Crafty.  A simple bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Make it Colourful Challenge blog and check out the outstanding creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will join in on the challenge.  There is a special album set up in the Make it Crafty store photo gallery just for challenge entries.  Can't wait to see what you create!

Thankful For You

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  I hope you had a good weekend and your week is off to a great start!  It's been cool and damp around here for days now.  It's dreary!  I guess I can't complain, though, because at least it isn't snowing!  I've had a busy day, so I'm just getting here to share my Digi Bells DT post.  It's my turn today to post some inspiration over on the Digi Bells blog.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Pear Pizzazz and the patterned papers are from my stash, so I'm not sure who they are from.  The adorable image is Little Rapunzel from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  I colored her with my Copics, then cut her out and popped her up.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few little Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.
