The new challenge theme is use lots of the colors yellow, with the option of also using Kraft or brown and white. The challenge is being sponsored by Pattie's Creations. Pattie has lots of gorgeous digital images in her Etsy shop here. I was generously provided with one to use for my project.
Here is one of the inspiration photos:
Here is my card:
I chose Pattie's beautiful digi called Thinking of You. I used SU So Saffron for my card base and mats and layered with patterned papers from the Prima Sun Kiss 6x6 pad. I thought it went so nicely with the image. I printed the image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with my Copics. The
sentiment came with the image. It's hard to see, but I added a bit of shimmer to the butterfly and the sunflower center with a Chocolate Spica pen. I used my Copic airbrush for the clouds in the background. I didn't add any other embellishments so nothing would detract from the main image.
Thanks for stopping
by! Sending out a huge thanks to Suzanne and the design team for giving
me the opportunity to join in as Guest Designer. Be sure to visit the
Copic
Challenge Group on the Color Me Creative Classroom
site and check out the awesome projects from the DT! You'll surely want to play along in this challenge with your own Yellow creation!
Have a great day and a great weekend and I will see you soon!
