Thinking of You

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a nice weekend and your week is off to a great start! My weekend was busy, but we didn't really do anything special, just a lot of running around.  And here we are at Monday again already!  I am popping in quickly to share a card I that I managed to finish in between other things this weekend.  It is for a few challenges I like doing.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Ambrosia 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Fairy Fae from Delicious Doodles.  It is also available from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed it out and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Diamond, Aqua and Fruit Punch Stickles for some added sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A satin ribbon, jeweled charm and a bunch of flowers from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Snowdrop Fairy

Hi again!  I'm back with a quick second post today.  Now I am actually up and have already been out to an appointment.  I have my coffee in hand and the day is ahead of me.  Before getting going, I am here to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing.  I'm cutting it down to the wire on a least one of them, so I'll be brief.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Fresh Asparagus and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Curio 6x6 pad.  The fairy image is Snowdrop Fairy from Delicious Doodles.  I colored it with my Copics.  I took a bit of license with the colors I used.  I know that snowdrops are mainly white with green detail, but I made them mostly shades of green. You can't see it well in the photo, but I spritzed the main image with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist.  I didn't add a sentiment yet.  I'll wait until I know how I'll use it.  Some Webster's Pages trim and a few pearls from my stash were my only embellishments.

Here is a close-up:

Thanks for stopping by again!  Hope to see you soon!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Delicious Doodles Challenge #95 (anything goes with DD)
Left of Center Challenge #35 (fairies)
Allsorts Challenge #266 (fairies)
Divas by Design (things with wings)

Have a great day!

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  Happy (very early) Friday! Hope you had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  It's likely to be more of the same for me, since I'm still not that mobile, but hoping it will still be a good time.  I am here early to post my DT card for the Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.   I've got a couple of other fun posts later, so I hope you will pop back if you have time.  Anyway, our theme this week is "anything goes" with the end of the month option to add a Christmas twist.  I try to do this when I can so I can build up my holiday card stash before the press is on. You can do anything you'd like this week, but please remember to have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Melissa Francis Deck the Halls 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Poinsettia Fairy from Delicious Doodles.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of Red and Gold Stickles for added sparkle.  Two pretty gold bead caps and a 3D poinsettia sticker finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from my wonderful teammies, Dawn, Penny and Kathi!  We hope you will play along!  It doesn't get easier than "anything goes".  Delicious Doodles is sponsoring the June Challenges.  Teri is offering the lucky winner 4 digis of their choice from her shop.  She has loads of fantastic digis there, so check it out!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
The Corrosive Challenge #202 (favorite coloring medium; mine is Copics)
Left of Center Creative Challenges #34 (use metal;  I used metal bead caps)
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge #222 (Christmas)

Peace On Earth

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a terrific start!  My weekend was quiet, as expected.  I didn't get much crafting done, but I did manage to make a card for a couple of challenges I enjoy doing.

Here is my card:

I made up a Christmas card.  You can never have too many in your stash before the rush comes!  My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Carta Bella Festive 6x6 pad.  The beautiful scene is A Robin's Christmas from Delicious Doodles.  I colored it with my Copics and added some Star Dust Stickles to make the snow sparkle.  The sentiment is a Flourishes stamp.  A punched border, some olive satin ribbon and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the scene:

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm going to get a few things done and then come around visiting.

Under the Sea

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Did you think I'd disappeared again?  I did, kind of.  I ran out of all the cards I'd made before my surgery and haven't been able to sit very long to make more.  I did manage to put a card together to share today.  It's for a few challenges I like doing, one that was ending today.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are all from the Webster's Pages Seaside Retreat Petite Papers pack.  The gorgeous image is Marina from Delicious Doodles.  It is also available in rubber and as a digi from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed the digi on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added lots of Stickles (Aqua, Turquoise, Purple, Yellow and Red) and some Ice White Pearl pen accents. I machine-stitched two zig zags down the left panel.  A few Wild Orchid Crafts Cherry Blossoms, a simple bow and a metal fish charm finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Queen of the Forest

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I was supposed to have another back surgery today, but they rescheduled it for Monday, so my weekend will be spent getting everything in order for the time I will be out of commission.  Starting Monday, most of my upcoming posts will be pre-scheduled, but I hope it won't be long before I'm back posting live.  Anyway, I am here today with my DT post for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "inspired by a song, book or movie title".  This leaves plenty of room for your interpretation, but please remember that you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project. I was inspired by the song "Queen of the Forest" by Ted Nugent.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Chocolate Brown and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Forever Fall 6x6 pad.  the beautiful image is Fern the Forest Fairy from Delicious Doodles.  She is also available from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I printed the image on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Ice White Pearl Pen accents to the toadstools.  A few opaque gems and a punched butterfly finished my card.

Peace

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  Sadly, our friends headed back home today.  We had a wonderful time while they were here!  I'm already looking forward to the next time we can get together.  I've spent the day trying to catch up with things around the house and in my craft room.  I am popping in really quickly to share a card I made for a few challenges I enjoy doing.

Here is my card:

There is not much to describe.  I was going for a "white on white" look.  I embossed the left panel with my Snowflakes embossing folder and I cut a scalloped border for the right with the Cheery Lynn Border Carnivale die.  The tranquil image is Snowy Mailbox from Delicious Doodles.  I only lightly shaded it with my gray Copics, then I added some Polar White Flower Soft to some of the snowy areas.  The Peace sentiment was cut with my Cameo.  Some wrinkled ribbon and a sparkly metal snowflake from my stash finished my card.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Delicious Doodles Challenge (white on white)
Sketch N Stash Challenge #138 (sketch; I flipped it)
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge #214(Christmas)
Card Mania (emboss it)
