Birthday Chick

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  If all is right with the world, I am sleeping while Mr. Blogger posts my DT card for the new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps blog.  The challenge theme this time is "winter birthdays".  We want to see a birthday creation with a birthday sentiment on the front!  Easy peasy, right?

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park So Happy Together 6x6 pad.  My fun birthday image is Luna Bitterfrost Birthdays Rock from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I used the digi version, but she is now available as a red rubber stamp.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles and Liquid Pearls for extra sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  The banner was cut from red glitter paper with the Little Miss Muffet Layered Party Banner Die.  Large and small stars punched from the same red glitter paper finished my card.

Vintage Christmas Cards

Hello!  Hope you've had a good weekend!  I can't believe it is already Sunday afternoon!  Where does the time go, anyway?  I've been super busy this weekend and have to get back at it, but I wanted to make time to share some Christmas cards I made this past week.  They are quite different from my usual style, but it was a great way to add a few cards to my much-needed stash.

Card #1:

Images:  Create With TLC - Unwrapping the Presents and Ornately Christmas (sentiment)
Paper:  Graphic 45 Christmas Past

Card #2:

Images: Create With TLC - Decorating for Christmas and Christmas Is Love (sentiment)
Paper: Graphic 45 Christmas Past

Card #3:

Images: Create With TLC - Old St. Nick Bookmark and Winter Club Vintage sentiment
Paper: Recollections Holiday Traditions

Card #4:

Image: Create With TLC - Christmas Holly Bells
Paper: Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium

Wherever I needed coloring, I did it with my Copics.  I also did some sponging with Antique Linen Distress Ink for an aged look.  I kept my embellishments to a minimum, adding only coordinating bows and small pearl accents.  This will make these easy to mail, too.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Create with TLC blog.  You'll definitely want to sign up as a follower! Paulette very generously shares so many wonderful freebies and her followers get even more goodies!  All of the pre-colored images and some of the sentiments I used on these cards were freebies from last Christmastime.  You should also visit Paulette's store here.  She has thousands of vintage images and word art sets that are perfect for every occasion.  Finally, I encourage you to visit the new Creating Christmas Treasures with TLC blog.  Here you will see lots of beautiful creations showcasing Create With TLC holiday goodies!  I am sure you will come away with lots of inspiration for creating your own Christmas treasures!

OK, that's it for me.  Enjoy what's left of your weekend and I will see you soon.

Oh, I am entering one of these cards into CraftyMess Challenge #23 (vintage Christmas).

Haunting

Hi there!  Happy Wednesday!  We're halfway to the weekend - how good is that?  This week is just as crazy as last so far, but I did manage to put together a card for a few challenges.  It is absolutely my last Halloween card for this year!  It is for Kenny K. Krafty Krew #116 (frightful) and Sketch N Stash #99 (sketch).

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are Papertrey True Black and the patterned papers are from last year's stash (K & Co. Kelly Panacci Halloween).  The fun Halloween image is Trixxie Treat from Kenny K.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles to her hat ornaments, ribbon tie, garter and the candy in the pumpkin.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Beware Halloween set which you can find in Paulette's store here.  A couple of glittery spider web corners, also from last year's stash, and a few 3D glitter dots from this year finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Trixxie:

I am also entering my card in the following challenges:
Crazy4Challenges #159 (orange, black and purple)
Sentimental Sundays #125 (Halloween plus a sentiment)
Eclectic Ellapu #2 (Halloween)
Tammy's Scrapin Corner #33 (trick or treat)
Craftymess Challenge #20 (Halloween)
Digital Tuesday #183 (Halloween)
Tuesday Throwdown #121 (Halloween)
Divas by Design #58 (use orange)

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back very early tomorrow morning with my Little Miss Muffet DT card.

Have a wonderful evening!

Little Miss Muffet Stamps - New Release

Good morning!  Happy (early) Thursday!  By now you know that I'm probably sleeping when you see this, but I'm here in spirit to share my DT card for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  It's new release week and you are absolutely going to love the fabulous new Trick or Treat images being released today!  And what's more, there is a brand new exclusive die being released, too!  The new banner die is going to be one you can't do without!  It's perfect for so many projects!  Check out all the new releases in the What's New section of the Little Miss Muffet store!

OK, on to my card.  This one was so fun to create!

My card base and mats are SU Pumpkin Pie and the patterned papers are from last year's K & Co. Kelly Panacci Halloween Collection.  I merged two adorable images from the new release: Agent Cupcake at Halloween and Lil Spook.  I printed the merged image on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics. I added a bunch of Stickles (Crystal, Purple, Lime Green and Orange) to make them sparkle a little.  The cute sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Beware Halloween set in Paulette's store here.  Some wide satin ribbon, a few gems and a glittery spider web corner finished off my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:
