Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and like me, you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am enjoying time with close friends again this weekend, so I won't have much time on the computer, but I've got a few things pre-posted so if Mr. Blogger cooperates, you will still be seeing my cards.  Today I am sharing my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "back to school".  You can interpret the theme as you wish, but your project must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).  The kids are already back to school in my neighborhood.  Seems strange to see the buses again!  Wasn't it just June?

Here is my back-to-school card:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned papers are from the Echo Park Bundle of Joy Boy 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Dundee from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed him on MiC Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Hurray, Hurray School Today set in Paulette's store here.  A couple of buttons from my stash with Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine bows finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the fun creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along this week!  Our August challenges are being sponsored by our very own DT sistah, Dawn.  Dawn is offering the random winner three digis from her LilyPinkScraps Etsy shop.  She has some fantastic digis to choose from!  There are also terrific site-wide prizes up for grab when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sketch 'n Stash #119 (sketch)
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (back to school)
Through the Craftroom Door Challenge (anything goes)
Loves Rubberstamps Challenge #66 (square or round card)
Divas by Design (use some twine)
Cute Card Thursday #283 (back to school)

Fairy Happy Birthday

Hi again!  Sure didn't expect to be back so soon, but I snuck into my craft room  and managed to finish a card I was working on.  If you are looking for my Little Miss Muffet GDT card, please scroll down one post.  This card I'm sharing was made for a bunch of challenges:  Sweet Sketch Wednesday #172 (sketch), Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (make it girly), and a few challenges that all had the exact same theme (things with wings) - Love to Create #33, Digital Tuesday #178, Fab 'n' Funky Challenges #139, Charisma Cardz #37 and Crafting For All Seasons #36.

Here is SSW-172:

Here is my card:

My cards base and mats are SU Bashful Blue and the patterned papers are from the Prima Meadow Lark 6x6 pad.  My sweet fairy image is from Whoopsi Daisy.  Linnie generously shared her as a freebie awhile back.  I printed her on Canson Watercolor Paper and colored her with Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Scattered Straw, Salty Ocean, Worn Lipstick and a little Milled Lavender). I added Star Dust Stickles to her wings and boots, Diamond Stickles to the butterflies and Fruit Punch Stickles to her bodice.  The sentiment is from Guylou's Inimitability.  It is a free sentiment when you purchase Starla in the GI store here.  Some satin ribbon and a few Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Relish Small Pleasures

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a good start!  Sorry I've been MIA the last few days.  I've had a lot going on, but I'm trying to get back in the swing of things.  It's already raining cats and dogs here and we are only on the outer edges of the storm.  I hope everyone in a more direct path of Isaac stays safe.  I'm popping in to share the card I made for Saturated Canary Challenge #24. The challenge was to make a card inspired by this inspiration photo:

I used the Sketch Saturday #222 sketch for my layout:

Here is my card:

I used GKD Passion Pink cardstock (I know, very bright for me) and layered with two patterned papers from the Webster's Pages Sunday Picnic Petite Papers pack.  I merged two images, Picnic from Saturated Canary and Bicycle from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I printed the merged image on X-Press It and colored with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  Some hot pink ruffled satin ribbon from one of my Webster's Pages Trim Cards and a few aqua gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close up of the image:

My card is also for the current Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (use two patterned papers).

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to be back soon with a few projects I'm trying to complete.

Have a good day!

No Pouting

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  We've got a lot of errands and such to do today, but before getting going, I'm popping in to share the card I made for a few challenges I like to do.  My card is for Sweet Sketch Wednesday #164, Addicted-To-Stamps Challenge #35 (Christmas in July), Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (Christmas in July) and Cute Card Thursday #277 (distressing).

Here is SSW-164:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I used SU Ruby Red cardstock and layered with patterned papers from the Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium and Christmas Past 8x8 pads.  The cute image is from Whoopsi Daisy.  Linnie generously shared it as a freebie awhile back.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added a bit of Red and Gold Stickles to her hair bows and buttons on her coat.  The cute musical sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I thought it perfect for this sweet little girl!  I distressed around the image and sentiment panels with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  An antique gold sheer bow and a couple of tags from the Christmas Emporium pad, tied with a bit of Baker's Twine, finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day and a great weekend!  See you soon!

Seize The Daisies

Good morning!  Hope your day is off to a great start!  It's going to be a busy one for me, so I'm popping in quickly to share a card I made for a couple of challenges.  It is for Sweet Sketch Wednesday #156, Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (summer colors), and Digital Tuesday #163 (anything goes).

Here is the SSW sketch:

Here is my card:

I started with a card base of SU Pool Party and layered with summery patterned papers from the Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer collection. My cute Whoopsi Daisy image was generously provided as freebie by Linnie a couple of weeks ago.  I printed her on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Yellow Stickles to the daisies in her hair and her sandals.  The fun sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was one of the goodies from the April Club.  I colored the daisies with Copics and added a dot of Liquid Pearls to the flower centers.  A triple loop bow of Pool Party seam binding and a flower from my stash finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day and hope to see you again soon!Photobucket

Appreciation

Hello!  Happy Hump Day!  We'll be cruising to the weekend now!  I'm popping in to share a card I made for a couple of challenges.  It is for this week's Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (a sketch challenge) and Craft Your Passion #104 (use dots and stripes).

Here is the Whoopsi Daisy sketch:

And here is my card:

I started with a card base of GKD Lipstick Red and layered with striped patterned paper from the Kaisercraft Miss Nelly 6.5 x 6.5 pad.  I used a dotted patterned paper from the same pad for my middle panel.  It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but the middle panel has both large and small dots on it.  For my main image, I merged two Whoopsi Daisy images, the gate (a freebie Linnie shared for challenge #6) andone of the cute little girls from Sheet 330.  I printed the merged image onto Cryogen White and colored with my Copics.  I added tiny dots of White Opal Liquid Pearls to the flower centers.  My sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  It was one that Paulette generously shared as a freebie awhile back.  I added a butterfly I punched with my Martha Stewart punch.  Some wide pink crocheted lace and three Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll be back tomorrow with my DT card for this week's Mo's DP2 Challenge.  Hope to see you soon.

Happiness Is...

Hello, again!  This is my second post today so if you are looking for my Guest Designer card for the Our Creative Corner challenge, please click here or scroll down one post.  I am back to share the card I made for a couple of challenges I like to do.  First, it is for the current Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (layers).  It is also for Sketch Saturday #200 and Simon Says Stamp Challenge (Let's Play Bingo).

Here is SS-200:

And here is the Bingo card for SSS:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I flipped the sketch, then started with a card base of GKD Red Hot and layered with patterned paper from the October Afternoon Sidewalks 8x8 pad.  My sweet image is from Sheet 257 from Whoopsi Daisy.  I printed her on Cryogen White and colored her with Copics.  I added a bit of Stickles and some Liquid Pearls here and there.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  For the Bingo, I chose the downward diagonal - flowers, lace and ribbon/twine.  I added lace, rick rack (ribbon) and a few Wild Orchid Crafts roses to finish my card.

Thanks for stopping by again!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you soon!

Happy Easter

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post today.  Sorry about that, but there was a challenge I wanted to enter and it closes soon.  I had made my card, but didn't have a chance to load it before now.  It is for Sweet Sketch Wednesday #144.  It is also for this week's Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (punch it out) and Digital Tuesday #151 (think spring).

Here is the SSW sketch:

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of GKD Lovely Lavender and layered with SU Gable Green and patterned papers from the Best Creations A Walk In The Park 6x6 pad.  I just love the pretty spring colors and sparkle of these papers!  My image is from Whoopsi Daisy.  It was generously offered by Linnie as a freebie for one of the previous challenges and I never got to use it then.    I printed it on Cryogen White and colored with Copic markers.  I added Stickles here and there for some extra sparkle.  It looks great in real life, but the glitter made it hard to get a good photo.    I used three different punches - Martha Stewart's Arch Lattice Edge Punch and Butterfly Punch and a McGill mini tulip punch.   The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It was part of Paulette's April Club.  An orchid satin bow finished off my card.

Thanks for stopping by again!  Have a great evening and I'll see you soon.

Spring Has Sprung

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Are you having a good week so far?  So far, so good on my end.  I'm popping in to share a card I made for a couple of challenges I like to do.  It is for The Paper Players #85 (spring has sprung), Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge (use corner embellishments, blue and green color combo, oval background and add some flowers) and the current Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (lace and pearls).

Here is my card for the challenges:

I started with a card base of SU Certainly Celery and layered with pretty blue and green patterned paper from the Memory Box Minuet 6x6 pad.   My sweet spring image is from Whoopsi Daisy Sheet 330.  You can purchase the sheet from Linnie here.  This is one of the two sheets I received for winning last week's challenge!  Thank you, Linnie!  I printed the image on Cryogen White and colored it with Copic markers then highlighted the flowers with some Stickles.  I did a bit of sponging with Memento Summer Sky (clouds) and Pear Tart (grass).  The image is layered on a lacy oval frame made with the Cheery Lynn Polynesian Sails Oval die.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  I think Paulette generously shared it as a freebie recently. Thanks, Paulette! The corners were made with a Cuttlebug Vintage Corner die. I added some wide crocheted lace and a few white pearls.  Three Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day and see you again soon!

Best Friends

Hi there!   I know, here I am again - lol!  If you are looking for my card for the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop, please click here or scroll down one post.  I'm back with a quick post to share the card I made for a couple of challenges I  like to do - this week's Whoopsi Daisy Challenge (spots and dots) and Sketch Saturday #196.

Here is SS-196:

And here is my card for the two challenges:

I started with a card base of SU Pool Party and layered with patterned papers from the Kaisercraft Chapter One 6.5 x 6.5 pad.  Each of the sheets I chose had dots or spots.  My image is Friends from Whoopsi Daisy.  It was generously offered here as a freebie for this week's challenge.  I printed the sweet pair of friends on Cryogen White and colored them with Copic markers.  I highlighted some of the white areas with my Sharpie White Paint Pen.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A triple-loop striped ribbon bow and a tiny paper rose from my stash finished off my card.

Thanks for stopping by again!  Have a wonderful evening and see you soon!
