Sketch Saturday #304

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  It poured down rain most of yesterday, but we might catch a break today before it pours again Sunday and Monday.  The trees and flowers sure love it even if I don't!  They are looking so pretty these days!  Anyway, I'm here with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday challenge.  We are sponsored by Mo's Digital Pencil this time and Mo has generously offered a $5 voucher for her store to three lucky winners!  How good is that?

Here is the awesome sketch from Lesley:

Here is my take on it:

My card base and mats are SU Melon Mambo and the patterned papers are from DCWV Birthday Wishes Stack 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Veronica from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics. I added a bit of Stickles here and there for some added sparkle. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Some chevron ribbon and a button finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Sketch Saturday blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Saturday Girls and our wonderful Guest Designer, Julie!  We hope to see you join in on the challenge!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Christmas Kiss

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  Hope you had a good weekend and your week is off to a great start!  My thoughts are with all who were impacted by the terrible storms yesterday.   What crazy weather for November!  Luckily, it was just windy and rainy here.  I'm so grateful for that.  Anyway, I am here with a quick post to share another Christmas card I made to add to my stash.  It won't be long before we have to start sending these out!

Here is my card:

I made an scallop circle easel card.  The base and mats are green cardstock from my stash and the patterned paper is from the October Afternoon Holiday Style 8x8 pad.  The festive image is Christmas Kiss by Mo Manning for Penny Black.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Silver Stickles to the ornament top and her barrette, Lime Green Stickles to her slippers and Red Stickles to the heart in her hair.  I added Ice White Pearl Pen accents to her headband and Glossy Accents to the holly berries.   The sentiment is a 3-D sticker from my stash.  I added a couple more ornament stickers to the easel base, but you can't see them here.  A bright red satin bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I have a couple of things to do, then I'll be popping by to visit your blogs.

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  At last, the weekend is here!  Hope you've had a good week and you have some fun plans for the weekend!  The sun is shining today, so I'm looking forward to getting out and about.  But before I do, I'm here to post my DT card for this week's Alcohol Marker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Our theme this week is " hot summer fun".  We're thinking fun at the beach, pool, park, whatever summer fun means for you.  Please remember that you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project to enter.

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and the weekend holds fun plans for you!  After all the hot and sunny days, we got a few strong storms last night.  Luckily, they were not as bad as predicted.  Things have cooled down some now and I'm hoping when I go out, the pollen will have been washed away with the rain.

I'm here, as always on  Fridays, with my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Out theme this week is "winged things".  You can interpret that as you wish, but your image must be colored with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are a purple from my stash and the patterned papers are from the Memory Box Viola 6x6 pack.  The beautiful fairy is Fairy Tabia from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added some Aqua Stickles to the stars on her dress and headband, Purple Stickles to her shoes and Glossy Accents to the bubbles.  I cut her out with my Cameo and popped her up on Spellbinders Lacy Circles and Classic Circles diecuts.  A triple-loop bow of green seam binding and three Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT!  Sadly, our friend and teammie, Linda Payne, has had to step down from the DT for now, but we are happy to have Jen Leeflang join our group starting with this challenge.  We hope you will inspired to play along this week!  This month's challenges are being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps.  One randomly-selected participant in our April challenges will win 5 digistamps of their choice from the Whimsy Stamps Store.  There are also lots of site-wide monthly prizes to be won when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

'Tis The Season

Good morning!  Happy Friday! Hope you've had a good week!  The weekend is nearly upon us and for those that celebrate, I wish you a wonderful Easter!  It's going to be a busy day and weekend, but before getting into all that, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this time is the ever-popular "anything goes" and as we've done every week this year, we are offering up a Christmas twist for those that want to get a jumpstart on their Christmas cards.  Please remember that your project must have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

Given the predicament I found myself in last Christmas, I am definitely taking advantage of the Christmas twist. My card base and mats are SU Gumball Green and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Festivus and Bright Christmas 6x6 pads.  The adorable image is Little Elf Mim from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some shine to the silver accents with my Silver Spica pen.   The sentiment was cut out in pieces from the patterned paper.  A dimensional sticker from my stash and some "pearls" around the frame made with my Viva Decor Ice White Pearl Pen finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out Copic/ProMarker Challenge and feast your eyes on the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT!  I know you will be inspired to play along!  Besides, there are always awesome prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Luck of the Irish

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  The weather is supposed to be gorgeous here this weekend and I'm really looking forward to some outdoors time.  Right now, though, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "green/St Patrick's Day".  Choose the holiday, the color or both, but don't forget you have to have some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are cardstock from my stash so I'm not sure of the brand or color.  The glittery plaid patterned paper is from Michael's.  In addition, I punched two scalloped borders from different shades of green glitter papers.  The cute image is Little Irish Dancer from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Crystal Stickles to her underskirt to make it sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Feel The Green Set in Paulette's store here. Some sparkly green ribbon and a few green pearls from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out the fantastic green creations from the rest of the DT over at the Copic/ProMarker Challenge.  We hope you'll have a chance to play along!  There are always fabulous prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  Take care all of you in the path of yet another big winter storm.  It's been raining a lot here, but at least it's not snow!  Before I head out for the day, I'm here to post my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge on the The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is the ever-popular "anything goes".  As always for the last challenge of the month, we are offering a Christmas twist.  If you'd like to get a jump start on your Christmas cards, this is a perfect way to do it!

Here is my card:

I decided to do a fancy fold and settled on a center step card.  My card base is SU Soft Sky and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye All is Bright 6x6 pad.  My beautiful image is In The Manger from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I cut it out with my Cameo and popped it up on foam tape.  I added a bunch of stars that were cut from GKD Good As Gold with my Cameo.  The cut file for the filigree stars is from Krewella Kreations and the star border file is from Bird's Cards.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  To finish my card, I added a couple of musical notes cut with my Cameo using a file from the Silhouette store (I think).

Here is a side view of the center step card:

And finally, a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to head over to the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the beautiful creations from the rest of the DT.  We hope you will find time to play along with us.  Our February challenges are being sponsored by "yours truly". One randomly-selected participant in this month's challenges will win a $15 gift certificate to use in the Mo's Digital Pencil store.  As always, there are other fantastic site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Mo's DP2 Challenge #173 (don't be square)
Divas by Design (fancy fold)
Crafty Sentiments Designs (fancy folds or not square)

Thankful For Heroes

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you are gearing up for a fun weekend!  I've had a lot going on this week and it sure has eaten into my crafting and blogging time.  I'm hoping the weekend brings a little down time for working in my craft room. Before getting going with my day, I'm here to share my DT card for this week's Copic/Promarker Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this time is Remembrance Day (tribute to veterans or any other special remembrance).  You must do some coloring with alcohol markers (any brand), but otherwise how you interpret the theme is up to you.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Green Apple and the papers are from the Authentique Loyal 6x6 pad.  While not really camouflage, I thought the colors and patterns of the papers still worked with the theme.  My adorable image is Soldier Boy from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find him in Mo's store here.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I made the camouflage pattern on his clothes and hat by dabbing with my BG95, BG93 abd BG91 markers. The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.   A double-loop navy taffeta bow and a few stars punched from green glitter paper finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

I'll Be There

Hi again!  I know.  First I don't post for days, then I don't stop posting, right?  I had a few projects in the works and managed to finish one up so I came back to share it.  It is for Mo's DP2 Challenge #155 (anything goes with a Mo's), Anything Goes Challenge #77 (animals), Through The Craftroom Door Challenge #38 (anything goes) and Papertake Weekly #83 (anything goes).

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Six By Six A Mother's Love pad.  You can tell how long this has been on my desk because I was using the sketch from the Anything Goes Challenge #76, which I missed.  Anyway, my adorable Mo's image is Did You Hear.  You can find it in Mo's store here.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored with my Copics.  I added a few polka dots to her top and socks with my Sharpie White Paint Pen.  The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC.  A polka dot bow and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

I used SU Pool Party for my card base and mats.  The patterned papers are from the Authentique Delightful 6x6 pad.  My adorable Mo's image is Talk To The Bear.  You can find her in Mo's store here.  I printed her on Fabriano Acquarello Hot Pressed Extra White and colored her with Distress Inks for a change (skin: Antique Linen and Tattered Rose; hair: Vintage Photo; clothes and shoes: Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass and Crushed Olive; bear: Weathered Wood, Spun Sugar and Crushed Olive).  Every so often, it's fun to take a break from my Copics!  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is part of the Hissy Fit set that you can find in Paulette's store here.  A triple-loop bow from some ribbon in my stash and a tiny sheer ribbon rose (also from my stash) finished my card.
