Little Miss Muffet DT - New Release

Hi there!  Happy (early) Thursday!  You know the drill - I'm sleeping, but you still get to see my post for the Little Miss Muffet DT.  That is, as long as the high winds don't knock out our power!  So far, so good right now. We have a fantastic new digi release at LMM this week!  There are six new fairies and a few fairy friends from digi artist, Simply Sophia!  They are so cute and I'm sure you will love them all!  You can check out the entire new release in the What's New section of the Little Miss Muffet store.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Bubblegum Pink and the patterned paper is from the Princess Promenade Collection from Imaginisce.  My two new images are Tenanye Faerie and the cute frog from the Lorella Faerie set.  Both can be found in the Little Miss Muffet store here.  I printed out both images on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored them with my Copics.  I added Star Dust Stickles to her wings and Lime Green Stickles to the spots on the frog.  I cut out around each image with my Cameo and popped them up on foam tape.  The sentiment is from the Silhouette store and was cut out from pink glitter paper with the Cameo.  The banner was cut from blue glitter paper with the Little Miss Muffet Party Banner die.

Here is a close-up of the images:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out all the fab creations from the rest of the DT using the new release images!  Don't forget you still have until Tuesday, February 5, to play along with our "hearts and flowers" challenge.  Follow that theme or use any Little Miss Muffet or Pollycraft image and you can go with "anything goes" as your theme.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Through The Craftroom Door #55 (anything goes)

Always On My Mind

Good morning!  Happy Wednesday!  Hope I didn't get you humming that song in the title all day! Have you had a good week so far?  We are having some nasty weather today - pouring rain, thunderstorms and high winds.  There were some tornado watches/warnings around AL earlier, but most of them have expired by now, I think.  Sure wish I didn't have to go out in the rain!  Anyway, before I do, I'm popping in to share a card I made for a few challenges I like to do when I can.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Primrose Petals and the patterned papers are from the Kaisercraft Chanteuse collection.  My sweet image is Higher Window from MayzyArt.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I cut out around the image with my Silhouette Cameo.  I also used the Cameo to cut out two heart borders, using a freebie cut file called Hearts Grow Border from Debbie here, and the heart doily from a free cut file called Layered Doily 26 shared by Monica here.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few Wild Orchid Crafts roses finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  I will be around to visit as soon as I get back home.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
MayzyArt Challenge #009 (romance)
Papertake Weekly (sketch #75 or any PTW sketch; I used #75 below)

Sweet Friendship

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  I'm popping by this afternoon to share a card I made for Elphine House Challenge #36 (going vintage) and a few other challenges I enjoy doing when I can.  I also get to show off the beautiful new Elisabeth Bell Stamp I won from Elphine House a couple of weeks ago when I won their challenge.

Here is a my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the pretty vintage patterned paper is from the Prima Fairy Belle 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is Carrie Swan Princess from Elphine House Australia.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added Star Dust Stickles to her wings, Baby Blue Stickles to the water and Cotton Candy Stickles to the little flowers.  The image is framed with a Spellbinders Romantic Rectangle with pearls added around the border.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added lots of texture with the vintage-style lace, a tulle flower and Wild Orchid Crafts roses.  Two Make it Crafty fancy chipboard corners painted white and spritzed with Pearl Glimmer Mist finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I'm popping in early with my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "anything goes", but we have an optional twist this year for the last challenge of the month and that is to create a card with a Christmas theme.  What better way to get a head start on your Christmas projects?  I don't know about you, but I was complaining a lot in December about having waited until the last minute for my cards!  I'm all over this option for the challenge!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Mistletoe 6x6 pad.  My adorable image is Little Elf Finn from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added Red and Silver Stickles here and there for some sparkle.  I used my Letraset Silver Metallic pen for the ornament top and Glossy Accents on the holly berries.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.

Here is a close-up of Little Elf Finn:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along this week!  The January challenges are being sponsored by our very own DT sistah, Dawn.  Dawn is offering a $15 GC to Etsy to one randomly-selected participant in the challenges this month.   There are also lots of fabulous site-wide prizes up for grabs when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Hearts & Flowers

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  By now, I'm sure you know how Thursdays go.  It's super early and time for me to share my DT card on the Little Miss Muffet blog.  We've got a new challenge this week!  The theme is "hearts and flowers".  A perfect theme with Valentine's Day just a couple of weeks away.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Primrose Petals and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.  My cute image is Celeste Amberglow Heartstrings.  She was part of last week's new rubber release at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I used the digi version of the stamp and printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card.  I cut her out with my brand new Silhouette Cameo!  Yes, I succumbed to the temptation of this new cutting machine and I know I will spend countless hours trying to figure out how to use it to its full advantage.  Anyway, I colored her with my Copics and added a bit of Stickles here and there for some sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I colored it with my Copics, too.  A couple of Little Yellow Bicycle chipboard hearts and three Recollections pearl hearts finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the fab "hearts and flowers" creations from the rest of the amazing DT, our January Guest Designer, Tanya, and our special guests, Julie, Karen and Lisa.  We hope you will join in on the challenge!  You have until Tuesday, February 5 to enter your project.  If you use either a Little Miss Muffet or any Pollycraft image, you can enter with "anything goes" as the theme and you can enter as many times as you'd like.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday #242 (sketch)
Through The Craftroom Door #54 (anything goes)
Tammy's Scrapin' Corner #46 (red and/or hearts)

The Digi Bells - Guest DT

Good morning!  Happy Wednesday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  Mine has been very busy, but fine.  I've got a lot on my plate this afternoon, but before I head out, it's my turn to post my GDT card over on The Digi Bells blog.  I am also entering my card in the current GDT call for The Digi Bells.  I've had such a wonderful time as GDT, I had to try again for the next term!  For the GDT call, we had to follow a wonderful sketch designed by The Digi Bells team leader, Lynda.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Chocolate Chip and the patterned papers are all from the Prima Madeline 6x6 pad. My adorable image is Rachel, Little Angel from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  You can find her, and so many more wonderful  digital images from Elisabeth here.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Stickles to the hearts in her hair and her wings. I used a Letraset Metallic Pen for all the metal buckles on her outfit. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I finished my card with three pretty Wild Orchid Crafts roses from the fabulous blog candy I won from Mindy.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit The Digi Bells blog every day for wonderful inspiration using stamps from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection!

Bouquet of Love

Hi again!  Are you sick of me yet?  Sorry for having so many posts in a row, but I had a lot of things coming due at around the same time. It doesn't often happen this way, but it sure has kept me busy! Anyway, this time I am here to post a card I made for a few challenges I like to do.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU soft Sky and the patterned papers are from my older stash.  I think it is My Mind's Eye Six by Six Dwell, but I couldn't lay hands on the pad right now.   My sweet image is Lots of Love from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  Elisabeth created this adorable image in honor of the birthday of Digi Bells DT co-leader, Linda .  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Summer Flower Soft that I've had forever and never used, to the bouquet.  I added in the grass with Prismacolor Pencils.  I framed the image first with a doily cut from Soft Sky with my Cheery Lynn French Pastry die and then with a paper doily that I salvaged from a pastry tray in a restaurant ages ago. I always keep these doilies in my stash just in case!  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A triple-loop satin bow, a single Wild Orchid Crafts rose and three heart gems that I also found in my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by again!  I promise this is it for awhile!  I'm entering my card in the following challenges:
Elphine House #35 (paper doilies)
Sketch Saturday #241 (sketch)
Paper Crafting Journey (anything goes)
Corrosive Challenge #165 (out with the old; I used old paper, a salvaged doily, and the heart gems)
Forever Friends Fortnightly #53 (favorite embellishments; mine are ribbon, flowers and gems)

Have a fantastic Friday and weekend and I will see you soon!

I used this opportunity to make a masculine card, something I often struggle with and never have enough of in my stash.  As such, I kept the layout pretty simple and didn't add too many embellishments.  My card base and mats are SU Bordering Blue and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Oxford 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Miguel The Photographer from Guylou's Inimitability.  I printed him on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored him with my Copics. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few neutral pearls finished my simple card.

Copic/ProMarker Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I'm back, as promised, with my DT card for this week's Copic/ProMarker Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "milestone birthdays". You can choose any "big" birthday you'd like, but remember you must have some coloring with alcohol markers on your project.  Any brand is fine.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Elegant Eggplant and the patterned papers are from the Memory Box Viola 6x6 pack.  My birthday image is Party Girl from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I added lots of Purple and Green Stickles to her jewelry and Peacock Liquid Pearls to her necklace.  I also added Glossy Accents to her wine glass.  Both sentiments are from Create With TLC.  I think they came from the Taste of The Clubs this summer, but I couldn't swear to it.  A few Basic Grey Bling It diamond gems and a single purple rose finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Copic/ProMarker Challenge and check out the fantastic milestone birthday creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will join in on the challenge!  The January challenges are being sponsored by our very own DT sistah, Dawn, who is offering a $15 gift certificate to Etsy to one randomly-selected participant in our challenges!  You can't win if you don't play!

Dream

Hi again!  I'm back with a super quick post to share a card I managed to squeeze in today while stuck inside watching it snow!  Yes, you heard right! It was snowing!  That's probably not much of a big deal for most of you, but it's not something we expect in AL!  Luckily, it looks like it will all melt by tomorrow.

Here is what it looked like from my front window a little while ago:

OK, on to my card.  It is for Tuesday Morning Sketches #181.  This week, the challenge is a judged one and the twist, besides following the sketch, was to add two different ribbons.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Taken With Teal and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart Be Amazing 6x6 pad.  The main image is one that Paulette generously shared during the Create With TLC blog hop last Sunday.  I believe you can still find it on Edwina's blog here. I really liked the vibrant colors of the bird image over the black and white map.  I added two pieces of dyed seam binding for my two ribbons.  The Scrabble pieces, from a pack of Basic Grey Fact or Fiction Chipboard Stickers, finished my card.  It's not my usual style, but it came together quickly and will be a great one to add to my stash.

Thanks for stopping by again!  I'll be back a few times over the next couple of days to post my various DT cards.

Have a great evening and see you soon!

Little Miss Muffet - New Release

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week!  It's STILL raining here and we may even get some of the dreaded white stuff today!  This is Alabama!  What's up with that?  Anyway, when it's Thursday, it's time for my Little Miss Muffet DT post.  We've got a fabulous new release today!  It's being billed as a Valentine's Day release, but all of the darling rubber stamps in this release could be used for so many other occasions!  You are going to love them!  Check out the "What's New" section of the Little Miss Muffet shop to see all the new stamps!

Here is my card with one of the new stamps:

My card base and mats are Gina K. Bubblegum Pink and the patterned paper is Princess Promenade from Imaginisce.  My adorable image is Claudia's Tutu from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I used the digi version of the new rubber stamp.  I printed it on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a bit of pink Stickles here and there  for sparkle and Baby Blue Liquid Pearls to the beads on her bracelets.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  It is from the Play on Words set in Paulette's shop here.  I cut off all but the "tu-tu cute" part of her word art to work better with my image.  I added a cropped pennant banner that I cut with the Little Miss Muffet Party Banner Die out of pink glitter paper.  A triple-loop pink gingham bow and a bunch of felt and vinyl stickers from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of Claudia:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the fabulous designs from the rest of the DT!  Don't forget, you still have until next Tuesday, January 22, to play along with our current Winter Birthdays challenge.  If you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp, you can enter as many times as you like and you can use "anything goes" as the theme.

The Sweetest Person I Know

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope you are having a good day!  It's still pouring rain here, but I can't complain because at least it isn't snow!  Still, I don't really want to go out in it!  Before I brave the elements, I'm here with a quick post to share the card I made for the current Polka Doodles challenge.  There was another fun blog hop this week and again, there was a cute Emma Canning image given as a freebie to use for the challenge. My card is also for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge #139.

Here is what I came up with:

My card base and mats are SU Raspberry Ripple and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Love Me 6x6 pad.  I printed Emma's sweet Cupcake image on Make it Colour Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added Star Dust Stickles and Crystal Snow Glitter to the cupcake.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A simple stitched ribbon bow finished my card.
