Sketch Saturday #316

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope you weekend is off to a great start.  It's still early for me, so we'll see, but I'm hoping for a nice one!  I am here now with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.  We have a new sponsor this week, All Dressed Up Stamps, who are offering the winner 2 digis of their choice from the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy shop.

Here is this weeks' fabulous sketch by Cathy:
Here is my take on the sketch:

My card base and mats are SU Pretty in Pink and the patterned papers are from the Authentique Flourish 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Twinkle Toes from All Dressed Up Stamps.  She was generously offered as a freebie awhile back on the All Dressed Up Facebook page.  I printed her on MiC Blending card and colored her with my Copics.  I added Star Dust Stickles her and there for some sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC. A few heart gems and a single rose from my stash finished my card.

Sketch Saturday #313

Good morning! Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  Boy, was it ever stormy yesterday!  We had lots of pop-up downpours and thunderstorms all afternoon.  Good day to be inside!  Anyway, I am here this morning with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.  We are sponsored by Sassy Cheryl's Stamps, who are offering a $5 GC to the lucky winner of the challenge.

Here is the fun sketch, designed by Alex:

I decided to flip the sketch.  My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Collectable "Memorable" 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is No. 2 Pencil & a Dream from Sassy Cheryl's. I printed the digi on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added in the sky and grass with my Copics, too.  I did a bit of doodling around the image panel.  A couple of K & Co. SMASH banners and a few gems from my stash finished my card.

Lots of Love

Good Morning!  Happy Monday!  I hope you had a nice weekend and belated Happy Mother's Day to everyone who was celebrating in the US yesterday.  It was a very hard day for me, being the first Mother's Day without my Mom.  I miss her very much all the time, but especially yesterday.  Anyway, today I am here with a card and some exciting news!  After 6 months of being a guest designer, I was invited to be a full-time member of the Digi Bells DT!  I am so thrilled and honored to join this team of mega-talented ladies!  And you know I love all of Elisabeth Bell's images!  Today is my first inspiration post on the Digi Bells blog as part of the DT.

Here is my card:
