Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you have fun plans for the weekend! After a cold and rainy day yesterday, the weather is looking up and it should be pretty nice for the weekend. Let's hope.  As always on Friday, I am here with my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge on The Outlawz site.  The theme for the first challenge is March is "something sweet".  You can interpret this as you wish, but you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my "sweet" card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the Crate Paper Maggie Holmes 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Sweet Tooth from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  Elisabeth is our sponsor for March and the DT got to use the digis that will be this month's prize.   I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some Glossy Accents to the candy machine.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few gems from my stash finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the wonderful creations from my teammies, Dawn, Linda, Penny and Kathi!  We hope you will play along!  One lucky participant in our March challenges will win two digital stamps from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  You can see which ones over on the challenge post.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp #196 (Julie's sketch)
Crafty Girls Challenge #13 (anything goes)
Papertake Weekly (anything goes)
Craftitude #60 (anything goes or add green)

Oops!  Forgot to add the sketch:

Have a great day and see you soon!

  11. Carla, this is a super sweet card. You did an amazing job coloring this one and the Glossy Accents really gave the machine a 3-d look. I remember asking for money are a little girl to put in the gum ball machine - - - long time ago. Have a fun filled weekend.
