Here is my card:
My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from the Recollections Valentine 6x6 pad. The fun image is Celeste Amberglow Cooking Up Some Love by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I colored her with my Copics, cut her out and popped her up on a heart-shaped frame cut with my Cameo. The sentiment is from Create With TLC. Some blue dotted ribbon and a couple of pink heart gems in the corners finished my card.
Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Have a great day and see you soon!
Carla, I know the heart is the point of the layout, but it works so well with your image choice and papers. Fab colouring too x
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Carla. Ms Amberglow looks delightful set against that big beautiful heart. Hugs, Lesley
ReplyDeleteYou not only color beautifully, but you also do a darn fine job at cutting out. This is so cute with that perfect sentiment. It just adorable. I'm glad to hear Hubby made it home without incident even if it was the next day. I had been seeing pictures of Al. on the news. I hope the weather goes back to normal for you. We are in a cold freeze but it is suppose to go up to the high 40's by the end of this weekend. It's foolish this year. Enjoy the day, Carla.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, love the heart too!
ReplyDeleteYour "love" card is just adorable, Carla. That little cook looks so cute against that heart.
ReplyDeleteGlad your hubby is safe. Gosh, what a mess you all have had. We only had a dusting of snow. My neighbor was in your area for the birth of a grandchild the day the snow hit. Thought they were going to have to stay in the hospital all night but got safely to her son's home after a wild ride.
Carla, what a fun card. That is one of my favorite images from Little Muffet. Glad your husband is safe. I'm sure he feels he spends enough time there. We finally are warming up, but are to get some more snow.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on our sketch again, Carla! Love that sweet image, your wonderful coloring, and that cool heart die cut! Your DP and color palette are fabulous, too! And the sentiment, of course, is perfect! :^)
