Here is TMS-158:
Here is my card:
I used SU Basic Black cardstock for my 5x7 card base and layered the sketch panels with two papers from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie collection. My cute image is Poppy from Saturated Canary. You can find her in Krista's store here. I printed her on Copic X-Press It and colored her with my Copics. I had a few blending problems and don't know if it is my markers or the paper, so I'll need to work that out right quick! I added some Diamond Stickles to the ruffle under her skirt and the center of the flower in her hair. The birthday sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC. Three Wild Orchid Crafts roses and four pink gems from my stash finished my card.
Here is a close-up of Poppy:

ReplyDeleteHey Carla, The last few cards you have done are amazingly beautiful... just love your work and you have turned me on to TLC for my sentiments..! I especially love how you color Saturated Canary images and your sentiments are just so perfect!
ReplyDelete...as for the copic issue, it is going around big time... lots of us are experiencing different levels of trouble blending the E's especially...I am on my THIRD E29, E25 and E13.. the 29 $ 25 especially just pool and/or lift the ink right off the page.. it is horrible and so much wasted time and paper.. Copic says it is because the E's have thicker particles that can clog the nib and to be sure I am not coloring on the TIP of the marker... I changed nibs, cleaned the caps and then finally just bought new markers.. and I still have issues...I did switch to Make it Colourful paper... it is expensive as it is only sold in the UK but I am spending as much $$ throwing my other papers in the garbage... it is lighter and sooo smooth making blending easier but I do still encounter issues with the Es when I color hair...if you learn anything...please share!! xxx Ann Marie
