Here is Sketch 72 from Papertake Weekly:
Here is my card:
My card base and mats are SU Pink Pirouette. I layered the sketch panels with patterned papers from the Authentique Delightful and Echo Park Victoria Garden 6x6 pads. I made my image panel oval instead of square. My breast cancer awareness image is Gabrielle with Ribbon from Guylou's Inimitability. You can find her in Guylou's store here. I printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card (yay, it finally arrived) and colored her with my Copics. I added both Stickles and regular glitter to the ribbon and her wings for a little extra sparkle and texture. Her wings really look fluffy in real life. The sentiment is from Create With TLC. It is from the Believe Hope set in Paulette's store here. A triple-loop satin bow and a few iridescent pink gems finished my card.
Here is a close-up of Gabrielle:
Thanks for stopping by again! Enjoy the rest of your day and see you again soon!
Hi Carla! Your card is so beautiful. Your papers and your coloring are so pretty. Love the use or glitter. I have a question... Do you have any tips on how to get that clean cut on that particular spellbinder's die? I have it and it doesn't come out as clean as yours especially the holes. I use paper as shims. Anyway, Thanks for sharing and thanks for joining us this week at Jackson's Digital Expressions.

Carla, Your card is adorable - I love this image and made a card for my Mother and sent it to her last month to celebrate her three years being a breast cancer survivor. Sorry I haven't been keeping up on everyone's blogs lately and I feel badly since you are great about getting around to comment so quickly. Life is just so chaotic, but hopefully it will get better soon.
ReplyDeleteThis is simply GORJUSS Carla - so soft and elegant. Love the baubles and how you did her sparkly ribbon. The pairing of TLC's sentiment and G's image couldn't be any more perfect together. Bravo!
