Here is the December SFYTT:
Here is my card for the challenges:
I started with a card base of GKD Cranberry Tart and layered with patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas 6x6 pad. I cut a doily from Cryogen White (gasp) using the Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily die. I cut a flourish from SU Brushed Gold with the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die. I got both of these from Joan's Gardens' store. I merged two wonderful Mo Manning images - Ragged Angel and and the lamp post from the Ragged Carollers set. Both images can be found in Mo's store here. I printed the merged image on Cryogen White and colored with Copic markers. I added some Polar White Flower Soft for the snow. The sentiment is from Paulette at Create With TLC. It is available as part of the Shiny & Bright set in her store here or right now it is being offered as a freebie to use in the Aud Sentiments challenge. I finished off my card with a big double-loop bow of May Arts silk ribbon.
So I said that I would have more to say about the SFYTT. Sorry to be so long-winded. You can quit now if you are not interested in this part. Jen changed the format this year to one sketch a month with a big prize drawing for a lucky person who participated in all 12 challenges. We are supposed to link our previous 11 cards here. I'm going to to do it even though I know I unfortunately won't be eligible for the prize. I did do all the challenges but somehow, when my computer crashed this summer, it appears that I never went back and re-blogged my August challenge card. Oh well. It was still fun to do them all and I will definitely try to get it right next year.
Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back tomorrow with my DT card for the Copic/Promarker Challenge on The Outlawz site and more.
